      • Collinear Deflection Method를 이용한 열전도계수 측정에 관한 이론적 연구

        Collinear deflection method is one of photothermal deflection methods. In the measurement process, both of pump beam and probe beam are irradiated vertically on the transparent sample. And probe beam is deflected by refractive index variation due to the temperature gradient inside samples. The purpose of this study is to measure the thermal property of thin film materials using collinear deflection method. Especially, theoretical basis is built for thermal property measurement using collinear deflection method. From this, parameters such thickness of sample, modulation frequency and so on, that can influence the investigated measurement accuracy of collinear deflection method.

        부사성 의존명사가 분포한 ‘하다’ 구문의 구조 연구

        이 글은 한국어의 부사성 의존명사가 분포한 ‘하다’ 구문의 구조와 구성요소에 대하여 연구하였다. 부사성 의존명사가 분포한 ‘하다’ 구문은 ‘척하다, 체하다, 듯하다, 양하다,···’ 등의 형식을 지닌 구문으로 이전에는 일괄적으로 의존용언 구문이나 자립용언 구문으로 다루어져 왔다. 하지만 이 글에서는 동사 구문과 형용사 구문이 각각 다른 것으로 보고 내부 구성요소를 살펴보았다. 먼저 동사 구문은 의존동사 ‘하다’가 ‘자립화’를 거쳐 자립동사가 된 것으로 보았는데, 비전형적인 대격조사 ‘을/를’의 분포로 그것이 가속화되었을 것이라 추측하였다. 그리고 형용사 구문은 전형적인 의존형용사 구문으로 부사성 의존명사에 의존하는 것으로 간주하였다. 또 두 구문 모두 부사성 의존명사는 보문절에 의존하는 것으로 해석하여, 두 서술어가 동일한 주어를 공유하는 것으로 해석하였다. ㄱ. 철수가 [<SUB>NP</SUB> [<SUB>CP</SUB> 철수가 아픈] 척]한다. ㄴ. 영이가 [<SUB>NP</SUB> [<SUB>CP</SUB> 영이가 아픈] 듯]하다. 그리고 부사성 의존명사와 ‘하다’가 하나의 언어형식으로 해석되는 이유에 대하여 그것이 접어적 구성이기 때문이라고 보았는데, 특히 ‘척하다’ 등은 자립용언임에도 접어적 구성을 형성하여 그것이 의존동사에서 기원되었음을 주장하였다. This paper discusses the structure and its compositional factors of the ‘hada’ sentence’ where adverbial dependent nouns are distributed. Previously, the ‘hada’ sentence’s distribution of the adverbial dependent nouns has been wholly referred to as either a dependent verb sentence or an independent verb sentence. However, this paper now sees the verbal sentence and adjectival sentence as two separate entities and analysed its compositional factors separately. In a verbal sentence, the dependent verb ‘hada’ goes through a process called ‘to make independent’ and becomes an independent verb. It is assumed that the use of the typical accusative marker ‘eul/reul’ accelerated this process. On the other hand, an adjectival sentence follows the typical dependent verbal sentence and is dependent on the adverbial dependent noun. All adverbial dependent nouns in both sentences are interpreted to be dependent on complement clauses and both predicates are therefore considered to share the same subject as well. ㄱ. 철수가 [<SUB>NP</SUB> [<SUB>CP</SUB> 철수는 아픈] 척]한다. ㄴ. 영이가 [<SUB>NP</SUB> [<SUB>CP</SUB> 영이는 아픈] 듯]하다. In addition, the clitic composition is perceived to be the reason for considering the adverbial dependent noun and ‘hada’ as one word. In particular, ‘cŭkhada and others formed the clitic compositions even though it was independent verbs, claiming that it originated from dependent verbs.

      • 철도강우자동경보시스템의 강우경보기준 개선에 관한 연구

        우리나라의 철도노선은 산악지역이 많은 지역적 특성상 절취, 성토 등의 비탈사면이 많은 것이 특징이다. 비가 많이 내렸을 경우에 비탈사면은 상재하중 증가에 따른 전단응력증대로 평형상태가 무너져 사면붕괴가 발생할 가능성이 커진다. 이러한 토사재해로 인한 열차사고를 예방하기 위하여 2004 년 철도강우자동경보시스템이 구축되었으나 경보신뢰성 부족에 따른 철도운영손실 증가로 인해 강우(强雨) 시 참고자료로만 활용하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 철도강우자동경보시스템의 활용성 재고와 강우경보의 신뢰성 향상을 목적으로 하여 그 핵심요소인 강우경보기준 설정에 대해 방법론적으로 접근함으로 최적의 강우경보기준을 도출 및 적용함에 있다. In mountainous Korean railway lines, there are a lot of areas which have artificial slopes, such as cut-slopes and embankments. When it rains intensively in the artificial slope areas, it could fail the slopes and flow debris as the shearing stress caused by rised overburden loads increases. Although automatic rainfall alarming system was built in 2004 for the prevention of train accidents caused by the soil disaster, it is utilized as reference materials when it is raining intensively due to increasing train operation costs loss according to the lack of the alarming reliability. This study is aimed at the improvement of rainfall alert thresholds to reuse Automatic Rainfall Alarming System and to improve the alarming reliability.

      • Eigendecomposition-Based GFDM for Interference-Free Data Transmission and Pilot Insertion for Channel Estimation

        <P>This paper proposes a new generalized frequency division multiplexing (GFDM) system that eliminates the effects of intrinsic interference and makes it possible to insert a pilot for channel estimation without interference. We express inter-subsymbol interference (ISI) and inter-carrier interference (ICI), which represent the intrinsic interference in GFDM systems, in a matrix form. The proposed GFDM system can remove the ISI through pre-processing and post-processing, which are done by eigendecomposition. We analytically derive the sufficient condition for the ICI removal. In this way, the proposed GFDM system is able to eliminate the effects of both the ISI and ICI. Furthermore, we investigate the prototype filter structures of the proposed GFDM system transformed by pre-processing and post-processing. We verify that the changed prototype filter structures are able to insert pilot symbols that are orthogonal to data symbols. Hence, the pilot symbols for channel estimation can be clearly observed. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system has better BER performance than conventional GFDM systems when the channel estimation process is considered.</P>

        Correlations between the Growth Period and Fresh Weight of Seed Sprouts and Pixel Counts of Leaf Area

        Purpose: This study was carried out to predict the growth period and fresh weight of sprouts grown in a cultivator designed to grow sprouts under optimal conditions. Methods: The temperature, light intensity, and amount of irrigation were controlled, and images of seed sprouts were acquired to predict the days of growth and weight from pixel counts of leaf area. Broccoli, clover, and radish sprouts were selected, and each sprout was cultivated in a 90-mm-diameter Petri dish under the same cultivating conditions. An image of each sprout was taken every 24 hours from the 4th day, and the whole cultivating period was 6 days, including 3 days in the dark. Images were processed by histogram inspection, binary images, image erosion, image dilation, and the overlay image process. The RGB range and ratio of leaves were adjusted to calculate the pixel counts for leaf area. Results: The correlation coefficients between the pixel count of leaf area and the growth period of sprouts were 0.91, 0.98, and 0.97 for broccoli, clover, and radish, respectively. Further, the correlation coefficients between the pixel count of leaf area and fresh weight were 0.90 for broccoli, 0.87 for clover, and 0.95 for radish. Conclusions: On the basis of these results, we suggest that the simple image acquisition system and processing algorithm can feasibly estimate the growth period and fresh weight of seed sprouts.

        한국과 해외 우수 제조기업의 공급사슬 통합 현황에 대한 탐색적 고찰

        This study compares supply chain integration practices of high performing manufacturing plants in Korea and those in the U.S., Japan, and six European countries. Data were drawn from the High Performance Manufacturing (HPM) Round 3, a joint data-collection effort on manufacturing and supply chain management. Specifically, in the automotive, electronics, and machinery industries, we selected twenty Korean plants with high performance reputation and chose the same number of non-Korean plants (HPM top 20), based upon their competitive manufacturing capability index and customer satisfaction index. The Korean plants do not significantly differ from HPM top 20 plants in that internal value creation activities are coordinated and integrated at the corporate level and between plants. The Korean plants, however, demonstrated more integration with suppliers than with customers, and only the two of them were classified as ‘outward facing’, which pursues greater integration with both customers and suppliers. Unbalanced and lower integration with customers of the Korean plants was attributed to the lower than expected manufacturing capability and customer satisfaction. Implications for supply chain professionals were discussed.

      • 자동화된 아쿠아포닉 시스템 설계와 온도 및 유량제어 평가

        식물공장 및 수경재배 시스템과 양액제어를 통한 순환형 수경재배에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 더불어서, 수경재배 양액을 사용하지 않고 물고기와 식물을 결합한 아쿠아포닉 시스템에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있다. 아쿠아포닉 시스템은 물고기의 배설물(암모니아)을 질화박테리아를 이용하여 식물의 영양분이 되는 질산염 형태로 전환하여 식물을 생육함과 동시에 물고기의 생육환경에 치명적인 암모늄, 아질산염, 질산염을 제거하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 아쿠아포닉 시스템은 물고기 및 박테리아가 존재하는 어항부와 식물이 생육되는 재배부로 구성된다. 어항부와 식물재배부의 물은 지속적으로 순환되어야 하며, 식물 재배부는 식물이 생육될 수 있는 온도, 습도, 광 조건이 유지되어야한다. 선행 연구에 따르면 아쿠아포닉 시스템의 효율성은 물이 순환되는 주기와 유속에 영향을 받은 바 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 온도, 습도, 빛, 유량이 제어될 수 있는 환경에서 금붕어와 상추가 생육가능한 아쿠아포닉 시스템을 아두이노를 통해 구성하였다. 히트펌프를 이용하여 계절에 관계없이 냉방 및 난방이 가능하도록 설계하였으며, 온도제어 시 냉방과 난방이 번갈아 작동하며 생기는 과도한 전력 낭비를 방지하기 위하여 아두이노를 통한 온도제어 알고리즘을 구성하였다. 온도제어 알고리즘은, 원하는 온도제어 범위보다 넓은 온도 값을 기준치로 두어 히트펌프가 냉방 및 난방을 번갈아 작동하는 것을 방지하였다. 또한 유량과 습도를 제어하기 위한 펌프와 식물재배부에 광을 공급할 수 있는 LED를 아두이노를 통해 PWM 방식으로 개별제어가 가능하도록 시스템을 설계하였다. 식물재배부 내부공간의 온도제어 성능을 평가하기 위하여 내부공간에 4개의 온도센서를 위치시켜 영역별 온도를 획득하였으며, 유량제어 성능을 평가하기 위하여 정해진 시간에 대해 PWM값에 따른 유량을 기록하였다.
