        액체급냉법으로 제작한 단일박대형 Fe_73.5Cu_1Nb_3Si_16B_6.5 합금의 투자율 여효에 대한 열처리 효과를 펄스측정법으로 조사하였다. 미열처리 시료의 자화율 χ와 인가자기장이 10 Oe 때의 자속밀도 B_10은 약 800과 0.8 T였으며, 교류소자후 1초에서 64초 사이의 χ의 변화율 D는 약 16%였다. 300℃에서 600℃ 사이의 1시간 등온 열처리에 의하여 연자기특성은 향상하였으며 최적 열처리온도 570℃에서 χ, B_10, D는 각각 15000, 1.2 T, 1.1%이였다. 열처리에 의한 특성의 변화의 원인을 미세결정립의 크기와 자기변형등에 연관하여 고찰하였다. Annealing effects on the permeability aftereffect (disaccommodation) of liquid quenched single strip Fe_73.5Cu_1Nb_3Si_16B_6.5 alloys were investigated with pulse method. The initial susceptibility χ, B_10 (the flux density at 10 Oe) and disaccommodation intensity D (D = {χ(1 s)-χ(64 s)]/χ(1 s), where χ(1 s) and χ(64 s) are the suceptibility of 1 and 64 s of rest time after A. C. demagnetization) were about 800, 0.8 T and 16 %, respectively. The soft magnetic properties were improved with isothermal annealing for 1 hour at 300∼600 ℃. χ, B_10 and D at 570 ℃ of optimum annealing temperature were 15000. 1.2 T and 1.1%, respectively. The origin of the change of characteristics were examined with fine crystalline structure and magnetostriction.

        TWO-Point Reactor Kinetics for Large D$_2$O Reflected Systems

        다량의 중수반사체를 가진 조밀한 노심에서는 핵분열시 발생하는r선과 중수소와의 (r,n) 반응에 의해 지발 광중성자가 다량 생성되므로 이러한 계통을 기술하기 위하여 광중성자와 그 모핵종의 공간적 분리에 역점을 두어 2-점노 운동방정식을 정립하였다. 여러 반응도를 주입하여 출력 천이를 모사계산하므로써 노심과 반사체사이의 관련 효과를 조사하였다. 이 모델에 의한 모사계산 결과와 공간 종속 운동방정식에 의한 계산결과를 비교하였다. 반사체 영역에서의 광중성자 효과가 포함되므로써, 이를 포함하지 않은 모델에 비해 출력 천이현상을 감소시켰다. 실제로 출력을 측정하는 계측기는 이러한 공간적 분리영 향을 제거하기 위하여 노심 내부에 위치하여야 한다. Two-point kinetic equations for a compact-core-with-bulky-D$_2$O-reflector system were developed. A unique feature of the system is that certain fission gammas create retarded photoneutrons in the D$_2$O reflector by (r, n) reaction. Coupling effect between the core and the reflector was investigated by simulating power transients with various ramp reactivity insertions. Special attention was paid to the phenomenon associated with spatial separation of photoneutrons and their precursors. Simulations show that accuracy of the two-point model is comparable with that of space-dependent approach. Also it is found that the explicily expressed photoneutron terms in the reflector equation slow down the power transient compared to non-photoneutron expressions. Detectors for reactor power control purpose prefer to be deployed in the core zone to be able to accurately perdict transient power.

      • Focal amplification and oncogene dependency of GAB2 in breast cancer

        DNA amplifications in breast cancer are frequent on chromosome 11q, in which multiple driver oncogenes likely reside in addition to cyclin D1 (CCND1). One such candidate, the scaffolding adapter protein, GRB2-associated binding protein 2 (GAB2), functions in ErbB signaling and was recently shown to enhance mammary epithelial cell proliferation, and metastasis of ERBB2 (HER2/neu)-driven murine breast cancer. However, the amplification status and function of GAB2 in the context of amplification remain undefined. In this study, by genomic profiling of 172 breast tumors, and fluorescence in situ hybridization validation in an independent set of 210 scorable cases, we observed focal amplification spanning GAB2 (11q14.1) independent of CCND1 (11q13.2) amplification, consistent with a driver role. Further, small interfering RNA (siRNA)-mediated knockdown of GAB2 in breast cancer lines (SUM52, SUM44PE and MDA468) with GAB2 amplification revealed a dependency on GAB2 for cell proliferation, cell-cycle progression, survival and invasion, likely mediated through altered phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling. GAB2 knockdown also reduced proliferation and survival in a cell line (BT474) with ERBB2 amplification, consistent with the possibility that GAB2 can function downstream of ERBB2. Our studies implicate focal amplification of GAB2 in breast carcinogenesis, and underscore an oncogenic role of scaffolding adapter proteins, and a potential new point of therapeutic intervention.

        Ahnak functions as a tumor suppressor via modulation of TGFβ/Smad signaling pathway

        We provide detailed mechanisms of Ahnak-mediated potentiation of transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) signaling, which leads to a negative regulation of cell growth. We show that Smad3 interacts with Ahnak through MH2 domain and that Ahnak stimulates Smad3 localization into nucleus leading to potentiating TGFβ-induced transcriptional activity of R-Smad. Moreover, overexpression of Ahnak resulted in growth retardation and cell cycle arrest through downregulation of c-Myc and cyclin D1/D2. We describe results from analyses of Ahnak<SUP>−/−</SUP> mouse model expressing middle T antigen in a mammary gland-specific manner (MMTV<SUP>Tg/+</SUP>Ahnak<SUP>−/−</SUP>), which showed significantly progressed hyperplasia of mammary glands compared with MMTV<SUP>Tg/+</SUP>Ahnak<SUP>+/+</SUP>. Finally, we screened multiple human breast cancer tissues and showed that the expression of Ahnak in cancer tissues is lower than that in control tissues by 50%. Taken together, these data indicate that Ahnak mediates a negative regulation of cell growth and acts as novel tumor suppressor through potentiation of TGFβ signaling.

      • FLUENT를 이용한 날개끝 보오텍스 해석

        FLUENT를 이용하여 사각 수중익 (Rectangular Hydrofoil)의 날개 끝에서 발생하여 전개되는 날개끝 보오텍스 (Tip Vortex)가 날개의 받음각과 위치에 따라 어떻게 전개되는지를 조사하였다. 해석된 결과를 검증하기 위하여 회류수조에서 입자영상유속계 (PIV)를 이용하여 구한 유속계측결과와 비교하고 그 물리적 타당성을 분석하였다. 또한 Vortex Core를 정의하는 방법을 제안하고 그 형상의 대칭성 여부, 받음각에 따른 크기의 변화여부를 면밀히 분석하고자 하였다.

        Self-powered flexible touch sensors based on PZT thin films using laser lift-off

        <P>Touch screens have become an inherent part of the user interface in many electronics applications such as smartphones. The two types of developed touch sensors, the resistive and capacitive sensing devices, may face several difficulties when applied to flexible device applications such as touch signals arising from bending motions. In this study, we assess the feasibility of flexible touch sensors based on piezoelectric PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 (PZT) thin films. Piezoelectric ceramic based flexible touch sensors possess unique advantages including scalable fabrication, fast response time, durability, and being self-powered. A demonstration device has been fabricated with a sandwich structure consisting of Pt electrode/functional PZT/Pt electrode/flexible substrate structure using laser lift-off (LLO) method. In order to anneal the functional PZT layer at high temperature (600 degrees C), the device was first fabricated on the sapphire substrate and transferred via melting sacrificial PZT layer with an excimer laser. We demonstrate the detection of x- and y-axis touch location via piezoelectric materials and confirm that the flexible piezoelectric touch sensors can distinguish between touch-induced and bending-induced signals via signal location, signal shape, and duration time. A notable feature of this fabrication technique involves its possibility to be fabricated in high resolution. This device may potentially achieve high resolution with suitable fabrication techniques, thus, providing the possibility for the next generation touch sensors. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V.       • 단일박대의 자심손실 측정연구

        단일박대형의 연자성 시료의 2 kHz까지의 자심손실을 간편하게 측정하는 장치를 제작하였다. 손실을 측정하는 전력계는 애너로그 곱셈기를 사용하였으며, 시료를 포함하는 NFB 회로에 의하여 자속정현파의 조건을 성립시켰다. 수종의 metglas 시료에 대하여 측정한 결과는 적정한 자장 중 열처리 및 자속정현파의 양 조건하에서 공표치와 좋은 일치를 보였다. A core loss measurement system for single strip soft magnetic materials with frequency range of 2 kHz was built. The analog multiplier by monolithic operational amplifier was used for power loss measurement of samples. The sine flux condition was realized with negative feed back loop including the sample. The measurements were done for severa metglas samples and the results showed good agreement with published data under the conditions of sine flux and appropriate annealing.
