서브 - 링의 신드롬 분석을 이용한 하이퍼큐브 진단 알고리즘

하이퍼큐브의 정규직이며 계층적인 구조적 특성은 효율적인 진단 알고리즘 개발에 유리하게 적용될 수 있다. Feng et al.의 HADA/IHADA와 Choi와 Rhee의 적응적 큐브 분할 방법은 하이퍼큐브의 전체 노드를 하나의 링으로 임베딩하여 링의 진단 특성을 이용하여 위하여 분할 및 정복 방법을 이용하였다. 또한 Kranakis와 Pelc는 결함을 모두 포함하는 최소의 서브링을 하나의 노드로 하는 하이퍼큐브의 형태로 분할하는 HYP-DIAG 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 또한 최악의 경우에, 테스트 수만을 고려하여 2ⁿ+3n/2의 테스트 수를 갖는 FAST-HYP-DIAG 알고리즘과 병렬 시간만을 고려하여 많아야 11테스트 라운드 이내에 진단을 수행하는 EXPRESS-HYP-DIAG 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 HYP-DIAG의 첫 번째 단계에서 얻어진 서브링들의 신드롬을 분석하여 테스트의 수와 테스트 라운드를 모두 고려하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

죽의 기능성 향상을 위하여 2:1:1:1의 배합으로 혼합한 한약재료(가시오가피, 숙지황, 산약, 백복령)와 닭가슴살 등의 재료를 사용해 한방 영양죽을 제조하였다. 한방 닭죽의 DPPH radical 소거능, SOD 유사활성, 맛의 선호도, cost는 수학적인 canonical model과 trace plot을 이용하여 분석한 결과, SOD 유사활성 이외에는 각 성분들이 독립적으로 작용하여 상호작용이 없는 선형 모델을 보여주었다. DPPH radical 소거능, SOD 유사활성, 맛의 선호도를 최대로, cost를 최소로 목적 범위를 설정하고, 각각의 canonical 계수를 이용하여 수적 최적화를 통하여 최적 배합비를 구한 결과, 한약 혼합물 101g, 닭가슴살 38.66g, 찹쌀 비율 41.34g의 최적 배합비를 구하였으며, 이 배합비에 따른 맛의 선호도는 6.39, DPPH radical 소거능은 17.25㎎VCE/ℓ, SOD 유사활성은 2.25%, cost는 1,382.39 won으로 나타났으며, 여러 결과들 사이에 최적화된 한 값에 수렴하는 desirability는 0.714로 나타났다. 이는 한약혼합물이 많을수록 기능성 면에서는 높게 나타나지만 맛의 선호도면에서는 낮게 나타냈고, 닭가슴살의 경우에도 그 함량이 많을수록 맛의 선호도는 올라갔지만 그에 반해 cost가 높게 올라간 것을 반영한 결과로 사료된다. The objectives of this study were to develop porridge with medicinal herbs and chicken breast meat and to find out the optimum mixing ratio. Several herb extracts such as Acanthopanacis senticosus, Rehmannia glutinosa, Disocorea japonica, and Poria cocos Wolf were used in the ratio of 2, 1, 1, and 1, respectively. The optimum processing condition for herbal chicken porridge was determined by a design expert program. Seventeen experimental points were selected, and herb extracts (82∼101g), chicken breast meat (30∼50g), and glutinous rice (40∼60g) were chosen as the independent variables. The measured responses were preference of taste, DPPH radical scavenging, SOD-like activity, and cost. The optimum formulation of herbal chicken porridge using the numerical analysis was set at herbal extracts (101g), chicken breast meat (38.66g), and glutinous rice (41.34g) with a 0.714 desirability value. DPPH radical scavenging effect, preference of taste and the cost showed a linear model, whereas SOD-like activity showed a quadratic model indicating a higher interaction among the mixture. As a result of proximate composition of optimized herbal chicken porridge, the contents of moisture, carbohydrate, crude protein, crude lipid, and ash contents were 76.4, 9.0, 1.4, 0.5, and 1.6%, the calories of the porridge was 46.1kcal/100g.

<P>This paper reports unprecedented dynamic surfaces based on zwitterionic low-density self-assembled monolayers (LDSAMs) of alkanethiolates on gold, which integrate three interconvertible states-bacteria-adherable, bactericidal, and nonfouling states-through electrical modulations. The conformations of alkanethiolates were electrically modulated to generate zwitterionic, anionic, and cationic surfaces, which responded differently to bacteria and determined the fate of bacteria. Furthermore, the reversible switching of multifunctions of the surface was realized for killing bacteria and subsequently releasing dead bacteria from the surface. For practical application of our strategy, we examined the selective antibacterial effect of our surface for eradication of mycoplasma contaminants in contaminated mammalian cell cultures.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Computed tomography (CT) provides various advantages; however, the radiation exposure dose is high. In a pediatric CT scan, a reduction of the exposure dose would lead to a larger noise and lower image quality. Therefore, we investigated the optimization between the dose and image quality in a pediatric CT scan. We used a 128-channel CT device and self-produced computed-tomography-dose-index (CTDI) phantoms with various diameters (12, 16, 20, and 24 cm). Various exposure conditions were considered by varying the tube voltage and tube current. Evaluation parameters were the weighted CTDI (CTDI<SUB>w</SUB>), contrast, noise, and contrast-to-noise-ratio (CNR). In addition, we calculated the contrast-to-noise ratio dose (CNRD) to optimize the dose and image quality. The measured CTDI<SUB>w</SUB> increased with the tube voltage and tube current. The obtained contrast and noise values decreased, while the CNR was almost unaffected with the increase of the tube voltage. With the increase of the tube current, the contrast was not considerably affected, the noise decreased, and the CNR increased. The highest CNRD was obtained for the lowest tube voltage and tube current. Therefore, an optimized image quality was obtained using the minimum radiation exposure dose with a high CNRD in a pediatric abdomen CT scan.</P>
Precise determination of magnetic moment of a fluxoid quantum in a superconducting microring

<P>Using dynamic cantilever magnetometry and experimentally determining the cantilever's vibrational mode shape, we precisely measured the magnetic moment of a lithographically defined micron-sized superconducting Nb ring, a key element for the previously proposed subpiconewton force standard. The magnetic moments due to individual magnetic fluxoids and a diamagnetic response were independently determined at T = 4.3 K, with a subfemtoampere-square-meter resolution. The results show good agreement with the theoretical estimation yielded by the Brandt and Clem model within the spring constant determination accuracy.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>By co-doping the P<SUP>5+</SUP> ions into Ba<SUB>3</SUB>SiO<SUB>5</SUB>:Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>, we synthesized new orange persistent phosphor using cellulose assisted liquid phase precursor (LPP) method. The emission spectra showed a typically broad orange emission band centered at 575 nm attributed to the 4f<SUP>6</SUP>5d<SUP>1</SUP> → 4f<SUP>7</SUP> transition of Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> ions under 400 nm excitation source. The persistent luminescence property of Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> doped Ba<SUB>3</SUB>SiO<SUB>5</SUB> orange phosphor was enhanced by co-doping non-equivalent phosphorus ions into silicon sites. This enhancement can be explained by formation of the trapping center due to the charge compenstation. Consequently, the afterglow decay exhibited an orange emission for more than 5 min after irradiation at under 365 nm for 1 min.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Ba<SUB>3</SUB>SiO<SUB>5</SUB>:Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>,P<SUP>5+</SUP> new orange persistent phosphor synthesized using cellulose assisted liquid phase precursor method. </LI> <LI> P<SUP>5+</SUP> doping can improve the persistent luminescence property. </LI> <LI> Trap center storing excitation energy is proposed by charge compensation. </LI> </UL> </P>
