Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of depression, sleep quality, job stress and their association among office workers. Method: A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 147 workers employed in 5 big enterprises, and 5 small and medium enterprises from October 21 to November 21, 2012. The questionnaires included socio-demographic and health-related characteristics, job-related characteristics, sleep quality, job stress (KOSS) and depression (CES-D). Result: Among all subjects, 23.1% was in the depression group (21 points and over in the CES-D score). Depressive level was positively correlated with job stress and quality of sleep. The adjusted odd ratio for the effects of sleep quality and job stress on depression significantly increased in the depression group compared to that of the normal group. Multiple regression analysis revealed that the following factors of influence had combined explanatory powers on depression: BMI, life satisfaction, quality of sleep, and job stress. Conclusion: The study revealed that complicated influences were exerted on the level of depression by variable factors, as well as socio-demographic characteristics, health-related characteristics, quality of sleep, and job stress. Specifically, the level of depression was influenced by the quality of sleep and job stress.

A microstructural lattice simulation for textured liquid crystalline polymer is carried out to predict rheological behavior, especially the stress evolution after shear inception. It is based on a combination of two main concepts: (i) the director in each cell of a supramolecular lattice has an orientation described by the minimization of total energy of director map, and (ii) the torque balance of each director under shear flow and anisotropic relaxational shear moduli depends an the averaged orientation of the director map. By considering the interaction between the nearestneighbor directors, the spatial orientational correlation is introduced and the spatial heterogeneity, i.e., a polydomain texture, is generated simultaneously. For the start-up shear flow, the overshoot and the steady value of shear stress increase and the former shifts toward a shorter time as the applied shear rate increases. Also, the calculated stress evolution is compared with the experimental result of a thermotropic liquid crystalline polyester-imide).

After Forest Service formed a forest welfare service system by life cycle in 2008, they established a variety of policy for promoting welfare of the people. In Forest welfare service plan(2013~2017) which recently the forest service department established to along with government`s welfare policy, they introduce forest welfare service voucher linked to National welfare system to provide forest welfare actively to disadvantaged citizen. The purpose of this study is to setup a direction of forest voucher system, and to make strategies of forest welfare service voucher by research existing voucher system of government. A study conducts a qualitative research by use grounded theory without a quantitative research, because there is not a lot of similar cases with forest welfare service voucher. The subject of this study is experts of National Park Authority`s voucher management, forest service`s Nature recreation management and relevant researcher institution. The research is conducted by interviewing the subject and by using grounded theory analysis. After processing an opening coding, categorization of opening coding, and axis coding, induce a direction of the forest welfare service voucher system.

The purpose of the study is to explore the representation of masculinities in Yuri Grigorovich``s Spartacus, thereby enhancing the understanding of ideas of gender and masculine bodies displayed in this ballet work. Robert Connell’s theory of hegemonic, subordinated, complicit and marginalized masculinity is employed, as it provides a useful model to analyze divergent forms of masculinities, particularly shown through the power relations of male characters in Spartacus. Thus, this paper identifies different masculinities that are presented, not only through the individual portrayal of male characters, but also through the relationship between the roles and their positions of power.

<P>Cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) is an autosomal dominant skeletal disorder caused by mutations in RUNX2, coding a key transcription factor of early osteogenesis. CCD patients suffer from developmental defects in cranial bones. Despite numerous investigations and clinical approaches, no therapeutic strategy has been suggested to prevent CCD. Here, we show that fetal administration of Entinostat/MS-275, a class I histone deacetylase (HDAC)-specific inhibitor, partially prevents delayed closure of cranial sutures in Runx2(+/-) mice strain of C57BL/6J by two mechanisms: 1) posttranslational acetylation of Runx2 protein, which stabilized the protein and activated its transcriptional activity; and 2) epigenetic regulation of Runx2 and other bone marker genes. Moreover, we show that MS-275 stimulates osteoblast proliferation effectively both in vivo and in vitro, suggesting that delayed skeletal development in CCD is closely related to the decreased number of progenitor cells as well as the delayed osteogenic differentiation. These findings provide the potential benefits of the therapeutic strategy using MS-275 to prevent CCD. (c) 2017 American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.</P>

생체재료용 Ti 합금에 관한 연구는 Ti-Nb계 합금의 저탄성계수와 초탄성·형상기억특성 향상에 초점을 두고 일본과 우리나라에서 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 이들의 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 저탄성계수와 초탄성·형상기억특성 향상은 모두 β상의 상안정성과 집합조직에 크게 영향을 받는다고 할 수 있다. 현재까지 Ti-Nb계 합금의 탄성계수가 상용의 Ti합금에 비해 월등히 낮은 값을 보이지만 아직까지 인체 뼈에 비해 높은 값을 가지고 있으며, 또한 초탄성·형상기억특성은 Nitinol합금에 비해 절반 정도에 불과하여, 앞으로도 탄성계수 저감과 초탄성·형상기억특성 향상에 대해 개발할 여지가 많이 남아있다. 이와 같은 기계적 특성과 함께 생체골의 동작 특성을 고려한 피로특성 또한 연구개발이 필수적으로 동반되어야 할 부분으로 많은 연구자들의 연구수행을 기대하여 본다. 마지막으로 연구개발 수행합금의 in-vitro 및 in-vivo 시험과 같은 생체적합성에 대한 연구 및 임상분야의 연구도 지속적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다.
