This paper addresses the problem of dissipative fault detection (FD) for nonlinear Markov jump systems (MJSs) with cyber attacks and hidden modal information, in which the round-robin (R-R) protocol is introduced to save network bandwidth. Two Bernoulli random variables are used to characterize the measurement affected by potential cyber attacks. The hidden Markov model (HMM) is employed to handle the phenomenon of hidden mode information. Subsequently, the sufficient conditions are derived based on the Lyapunov stability theory to ensure that the FD system is stochastically stable and stochastically strictly (Q1, Q2, Q3)-γ dissipative. The desired FD filter matrices are obtained by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a simulation is provided to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the designed FD scheme.
An Analytical Study on the Visual Innovation of the Animation <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse>

This study focuses on the art style research of the 3D Animation <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse>, exploring the film’s innovation in art design. The article first analyzes how the movie skillfully blends American comics, watercolor painting style, Pollock drip painting, and ink painting, among other artistic techniques, to present a unique visual experience for the audience. By specifically dissecting the character design and scene composition in the movie, it explores the specific application of these art styles and their methods in digital image production. Ultimately, the paper emphasizes the contribution of <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse> to 3D Animated cinema, particularly its innovation in the field of art design, as well as its inspiration and possibilities for the diversity of art styles in animated films. Overall, this study aims to provide in-depth academic insight into the field of animated film art design and to promote its development and innovation.

Vortex-Induced Vibration (VIV) is a major contributor to the fatigue damage of marine risers which are often arranged in an array configuration. In addition to helical strakes and fairings, studies have been strived in searching for possible VIV suppression techniques. Inspired by giant Saguaro Cacti, flexible cylinders of different cactus-shaped cross sections were tested in a water tunnel facility, and test results showed that cactus-like body shapes reduced VIV responses of a cylinder at no cost of significant increase of drag. A series of experiments were conducted on a pair of two tandem-arranged flexible cylinders and an array of four cylinders in a square configuration to investigate the effects of wake on the dynamic responses of cylinders and the VIV mitigation effectiveness of the cactus-like body shape. Results showed that the cylinders in a square configuration, either at the upstream or downstream positions, might have larger dynamic responses than those of a single cylinder. The cactus-like body shape could mitigate VIV responses of cylinders at upstream positions in an array configuration; however, similar to helical strakes, the mitigation efficiency was reduced on downstream cylinders. Note that the cactus-like cross-sectional shape investigated was not optimized for VIV suppression. The present study indicates that the modification of the cross-sectional shape of a cylinder to a well-designed cactus-like shape may be used as an alternative technique to mitigate the VIV of marine risers.
Optimal Control Strategies for a Supply Chain System With Delay and Reference Price Effects

This paper mainly discusses the impacts from the time delay of advertising and the reference price of consumer onto the cooperative advertising decisions. In our model, both the retailer’s platform goodwill (RPG) and the manufacturer’s brand goodwill (MBG) involved with their own advertising efforts are modeled by the delay differential equations. In addition, the RPG and the MBG have positive effects on the consumer’s reference price. The equilibrium advertising strategies of two channel members are firstly derived within the centralized and decentralized scenarios by resorting to the optimal control theory. Besides, the corresponding equilibrium advertising strategies and optimal channel profits are compared, which shows that the centralization brings higher profit to whole channel only when the time delays locate within a specified geometric region and the existence of time delay caused by manufacturer’s advertising also implies smaller advertising participation rate provided by the retailer. Subsequently, a new mechanism is designed to coordinate the supply chain system in the decentralized case under the consignment mode. Finally, a numerical example is employed to illustrate the impacts from key system parameters onto the coordination results when the supply chain is coordinated.
A Self-Powered RFID Sensor Tag for Long-Term Temperature Monitoring in Substation

Radio frequency identification (RFID) sensor tag provides several advantages including battery-less operation and low cost, which are suitable for long-term monitoring. This paper presents a self-powered RFID temperature sensor tag for online temperature monitoring in substation. The proposed sensor tag is used to measure and process the temperature of high voltage equipments in substation, and then wireless deliver the data. The proposed temperature sensor employs a novel phased-locked loop (PLL)-based architecture and can convert the temperature sensor in frequency domain without a reference clock, which can significantly improve the temperature accuracy. A two-stage rectifier adopts a series of auxiliary floating rectifier to boost its gate voltage for higher power conversion efficiency. The sensor tag chip was fabricated in TSMC $0.18{\mu}m$ 1P6M CMOS process. The measurement results show that the proposed temperature sensor tag achieve a resolution of $0.15^{\circ}C$/LSB and a temperature error of $-0.6/0.7^{\circ}C$ within the range from $-30^{\circ}C$ to $70^{\circ}C$. The proposed sensor tag achieves maximum communication distance of 11.8 m.

As a new wet chemical method, polymer template strategy uses monomer polymerization to form a continuous carbonnetwork. The carbon skeleton can make the carbothermal reduction reaction take place in the original, thus preventing theexcessive agglomeration of grains. The Al2O3 / C ceramic precursor were obtained by polymer template strategy, and thenAlON powders with 3 μm size were synthesized through a spark plasma sintering (SPS) method at 1,650 °C. We confirmedthat a continuous network of carbon chains was formed by polymerization to encapsulate the alumina powder, so as to reducethe contact growth of the grains during the high-temperature carbothermal reaction. We established that, when the mass ratioof carbon source to alumina was 1.6:10, the pure AlON powder could be prepared by calcining at 1,650 °C for 20 min in aflowing nitrogen atmosphere.
CrOx–MnOx–TiO2 adsorbent with high resistance to SO2 poisoning for Hg0 removal at low temperature

Chromium modified MnOx–TiO2 (CMT), MnOx–TiO2 (MT) and CrOx–TiO2 (CT) adsorbents were prepared by a sol–gel method and were investigated for Hg0 removal in the absence and presence of SO2. The fresh and used adsorbents were characterized by N2 physisorption, XRD, FTIR, H2-TPR, XPS and TG. The results showed that the addition of Cr into MT can not only increase the activity of Hg0 removal, but also improve its SO2 resistance performance. The amount of manganese sulfate formed onto spent CMT was much higher than that of chromium sulfate, meaning that sulfate species were formed preferentially on Mn rather than Cr.
