However, similar antitumor activity against mice bearing S-180 cell was shown by 2-an 6-(1-azidoalkyl)-DMNQ derivatives.

본 논문에서는 Brushless DC Motors(이하 BLDC Motor이라 함)의 비대칭 영구자석 오버행 구조에 의한 Z축 방향 추력, 진동 특성을 연구하였다. 무부하인 경우에는 Z축방향 추력이 일정하므로 베어링에 하중으로만 작용하여 진동은 발생하지 않는다. 그러나 코일전류가 증가할수록 코일전류에 의한 증자, 감자작용으로 인하여 자속에 리플이 발생하며 Z축 방향 추력도 리플은 물론 진동이 발생한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 전기자 전류 변화에 따른 자속밀도 및 Z축 방향 추력 특성을 해석하였으며 이를 실험치와 비교하였다.

Background/Aims: Atrial arrhythmia (AA) occasionally occurs after lung transplantation (LT); however, risk factors for AA and their impact on clinical outcomes are inconsistent. We aimed to investigate the incidence, predisposing factors, and clinical outcomes of AA after LT. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 153 consecutive patients who underwent LT between January 2010 and August 2016. An AA episode was defined as a documented atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter, or atrial tachycardia on 12-lead electrocardiography or episodes lasting ≥ 30 seconds on telemetry monitoring. Results: The mean follow-up time was 22.0 ± 19.1 months. Postoperative AA occurred in 46 patients (30.1%) after LT. Patients with postoperative AA were older, had larger body surface area, and had an increased incidence of paroxysmal AF prior to transplantation, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and postoperative tracheostomy than patients without AA. Preoperative right atrial pressure (RAP) (odds ratio [OR], 1.19; p = 0.005) and longer periods of mechanical ventilation (OR, 1.03; p = 0.008) were found to be independent risk factors for AA after surgery. Development of AA was a significant predictor of long-term overall mortality (hazard ratio, 2.75; p = 0.017). Conclusions: Patients with elevated preoperative RAP and long-term ventilator care had a higher risk of AA after LT. Further, AA after LT was associated with poor long-term survival.

<P>Since vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is known to be a potent pro-angiogenic factor, we evaluated the potential association of two <I>VEGF</I> gene polymorphisms (-634G>C and 936C>T) with the susceptibility and the clinicopathologic characteristics of colorectal cancer (CRC). The <I>VEGF</I> genotypes were determined using fresh colorectal tissue from 465 patients who had undergone a surgical resection and peripheral blood lymphocytes from 413 healthy controls by PCR/DHPLC assay. For the -634G>C polymorphism, the -634 GC or CC genotype was associated with a decreased risk of CRC (odds ratio [OR], 0.62; <I>p</I>=0.001) as a dominant model of C allele, whereas the 936 TT genotype correlated with advanced stage/ metastasis, a high serum level of CA19-9, and an higher grade in patients with CRC. In the haplotype analyses, haplotype -634C/936C and -634G/936T were associated with a decreased susceptibility of CRC (OR, 0.53 and 0.56; <I>p</I><0.001, respectively). These observations imply that the <I>VEGF</I> gene polymorphisms may be associated with the susceptibility or clinicopathologic features of CRC. However, further studies of other <I>VEGF</I> sequence variants and their biological functions are needed to understand the role of the <I>VEGF</I> gene polymorphisms in the development and progression of CRC.</P>

<P>We carry out a comparative analysis on a viewing angle change in Fresnel and Fourier holographic images reconstructed by a tilted plane wave. A tilted plane wave illuminating an on-axis hologram generates a diffractive wave carrying the holographic image in a paraxial region of a new diffraction axis. The reconstructed image in the Fresnel hologram is deformed along the new viewing direction, which is well described as Affine transformation. In the Fourier holographic image, the replica of the image is formed without its deformation when the hologram is placed in the front focal plane of the lens, whereas in the case of a hologram that is located at a distance different from a focal length, image deformation arises. This property is investigated through numerical simulation based on a wide-angle diffraction phenomenon. We also perform a similar interpretation for high-order diffraction images appearing in the sampled Fourier hologram and discuss a method for enlarging the viewing angle of the holographic image.</P>
