Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of depression, sleep quality, job stress and their association among office workers. Method: A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 147 workers employed in 5 big enterprises, and 5 small and medium enterprises from October 21 to November 21, 2012. The questionnaires included socio-demographic and health-related characteristics, job-related characteristics, sleep quality, job stress (KOSS) and depression (CES-D). Result: Among all subjects, 23.1% was in the depression group (21 points and over in the CES-D score). Depressive level was positively correlated with job stress and quality of sleep. The adjusted odd ratio for the effects of sleep quality and job stress on depression significantly increased in the depression group compared to that of the normal group. Multiple regression analysis revealed that the following factors of influence had combined explanatory powers on depression: BMI, life satisfaction, quality of sleep, and job stress. Conclusion: The study revealed that complicated influences were exerted on the level of depression by variable factors, as well as socio-demographic characteristics, health-related characteristics, quality of sleep, and job stress. Specifically, the level of depression was influenced by the quality of sleep and job stress.

<P>Cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) is an autosomal dominant skeletal disorder caused by mutations in RUNX2, coding a key transcription factor of early osteogenesis. CCD patients suffer from developmental defects in cranial bones. Despite numerous investigations and clinical approaches, no therapeutic strategy has been suggested to prevent CCD. Here, we show that fetal administration of Entinostat/MS-275, a class I histone deacetylase (HDAC)-specific inhibitor, partially prevents delayed closure of cranial sutures in Runx2(+/-) mice strain of C57BL/6J by two mechanisms: 1) posttranslational acetylation of Runx2 protein, which stabilized the protein and activated its transcriptional activity; and 2) epigenetic regulation of Runx2 and other bone marker genes. Moreover, we show that MS-275 stimulates osteoblast proliferation effectively both in vivo and in vitro, suggesting that delayed skeletal development in CCD is closely related to the decreased number of progenitor cells as well as the delayed osteogenic differentiation. These findings provide the potential benefits of the therapeutic strategy using MS-275 to prevent CCD. (c) 2017 American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.</P>

평산의병은 활동기간과 내용에 비해 그동안 주목받지 못하였다. 그래서 지금까지 알려진 사실들도 단편적인 사실에 불과하였다. 본 연구는 평산의병에 대한 파편화된 사실들을 종합하여 활동의 전체적인 실상을 밝히고, 더 나아가서 이북 지역에서 일어났던 의병운동에 대한 이해를 높이는 데 기여하고자 하였다. 1907년 8월 대한제국의 군대가 강제로 해산되면서 후기의병이 크게 일어나자 황해도 평산지역에서도 의병이 일어났다. 이들은 황해도지역을 비롯해 경기 북부와 강원도 등지에서 활동하였다. 또한 화서학파의 거두 유인석을 따라 연해주와 만주지역을 무대로 활동하기도 하였다. 평산의병은 거의 초기에는 화서학파 유생들을 중심으로 의진을 구성하였다. 그러나 1908년 8월 유인석의 연해주행에 평산의병 지도부였던 화서학파 유생들이 뒤따르면서 전투가 불가능했던 다수의 유생들이 의진에서 빠지게 되었다. 평산의병은 실질적인 전투를 위한 조직이 되었다. 또한 연해주를 오가며 신식무기를 국내로 반입하여 전투력을 강화하였다. 필요에 따라 합진과 분진을 전략적으로 사용하여 전투를 이어갔다. 1910년 국권피탈 이후 일제의 토벌이 강화되자 일부는 만주로 넘어가 독립군이 되었으며, 일부는 국내에 남아 토벌을 피해 잠시 잠적하였다가 다시 활동을 재개하였다. 비록 국내에서의 의병활동은 1914년 5월 김정환 부대의 항전을 끝으로 끝나게 되었으나 만주로 넘어가 독립군이 된 이들을 통해 평산의병의 정신은 계속 이어졌다. Pyeongsan Righteous Armies has not received much attention compared to its activity period and contents. This study aims to summarize the fragmented facts about Pyeongsan Righteous Armies to reveal the overall reality of the activity and further enhance the understanding of the righteous army movement in the northern part of the country. In August 1907, when the Korean Empire’s military was forcibly disbanded, a large number of soldiers occurred in Pyeongsan area of Hwanghae-do. They worked in northern Gyeonggi Province and Gangwon Province, including Hwanghae Province. Pyeongsan Righteous Armies was formed in the early stages of the Hwaseo Confucian scholarship. In August 1908, however, Yoo In-seok’s trip to Primorsky Province was followed by Confucian scholars who were leaders of the Pyeongsan Army. Pyeongsan became an organization for practical combat. It also strengthened its combat capabilities by bringing new weapons into Korea while traveling between Primorsky and Primorsky. Although the righteous army activities in Korea ended in May 1914, the spirit of Pyeongsan continued through those who moved to Manchuria and became independent troops.
Relaxed Stability Condition for Polynomial Fuzzy System: Non-Quadratic Lyapunov Function Approach

In this paper, relaxed stability of polynomial fuzzy system is considered. Proposed relaxed stability condition is based on the non-quadratic Lyapunov function (NQLF). Since the condition that contains the time derivative of the fuzzy weighting function (FWF) cannot be casted into linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition, various researches arbitrarily set the bound of its magnitude. To solve this problem, in this paper, the stability condition is directly calculated without setting the bound of magnitude of the time derivative of the FWF, and the condition is casted into sum-of-square (SOS) condition. Finally, to prove the superiority of proposed method, simulation example is given.
Robust Stabilization Condition for a Polynomial Fuzzy System with Parametric Uncertainties

This paper concerns with the robust stabilization condition for the polynomial fuzzy system with parametric uncertainties. In the existing methods, nonlinear system with parametric uncertainties was modeled to the T-S fuzzy system. However, these methods has problem such as large number of the fuzzy rule. Therefore, this paper uses the polynomial fuzzy modeling method to manipulate the robust stabilization problem for the parameter uncertain nonlinear system. Furthermore, since new robust stabilization condition is derived from the polynomial Lyapunov function, so the condition is less conservative than previous robust stabilization condition. Finally, numerical example is given to show the validity of proposed method.
Stabilization of Polynomial Fuzzy Large-Scale System : Sum-of-Square approach

This paper presents a polynomial fuzzy method approach to stabilize the nonlinear large-scale system. Unlike conventional T-S fuzzy system, polynomial fuzzy system contains polynomial matrix. Since polynomial fuzzy system has polynomial matrix, this system has less IF-THEN rules than T-S fuzzy system. Based on the proposed method, stabilization condtiion is derived in the form of polynomial and solved by sum-of-square method. Finally, some examples demonstrate that the proposed condition is adoptable in modeling and stabilization for the nonlinear large-scale system.

In this paper, a linear matrix inequality-based sampled-data fuzzy observer design method is proposed based on the exact discretization approach. In the proposed design technique, a numerically relaxed observer design condition is obtained by using the discrete-time fuzzy Lyapunov function. Unlike the existing studies, the designed observer is robust to the uncertain premise variable because the fuzzy observer is designed under the imperfect premise matching condition, in which the membership functions of the system and observer are mismatched. In addition, we apply the proposed method to the state estimation problem of the attitude and heading reference system (AHRS). To do this, we derive a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model for the AHRS system, and validate the proposed method through the hardware experiment.
