This study describes the reliability of pragmatic combinations of acupuncture points for lateral epicondylalgia (LE) as prescribed by physiotherapists who were experts in acupuncture. Raters (n Z 14; 33e59 years) independently prescribed acupuncture points for 30 simulated human patients with LE who were surveyed via a printed questionnaire. The frequency and cooccurrence of acupuncture points prescribed for patients with lateral epicondylitis were assessed. Absolute agreement and Light’s kappa (k Light ) with 95% confidence interval (CI) were used to quantify the interrater agreement. Raters prescribed 103 unique acupuncture points in different combinations with a median (min emax) of 5 (0e11) acupuncture points. The most prescribed acupuncture point was LI-11 (297 of 420; 71%), and the most common cooccurring acupuncture points were LI-11and LI-4 (160 of 420; 38%). The absolute agreement for prescribing the acupuncture points ranged from 70% (point GB-20) to 0% (points LI-10, SP-6, LI-11, GB-34, LI-12, and LI-4). Point LR-3 showed the highest interrater reliability for prescribing the acupuncture points [k Light Z 0.112, 95% CI Z (0.055e0.194)], whereas point LI-4 showed the lowest reliability [k Light Z À0.003, 95% CI Z (À0.024 to 0.024)]. These findings suggest that pragmatic prescriptions of acupuncture points for LE are unreliable among physiotherapists who are experts in acupuncture. Explicit, high-level evidence-based rules for prescribing and teaching combinations of acupuncture points for LE are warranted.

Treatment of wastewater necessarily involves the production of sludges irrespective of the treatment processes of systems selected. Increasingly stringent environmental quality objectives and reduced outlets for disposal of sludges have focused attention on the need to consider fully the options for sludge disposal prior to taking decisions regarding the location of wastewater treatment and sludge treatment works. Before wastewater treatment systems are selected, the options for sludge disposal, transport and treatment should be fully investigated. Options must incorporate the best available technology not entailing excessive costs given local conditions and privious experience which comply with environmental quality objectives and regulations. Requirements and development methods of sludge disposal strategies are discussed based on the experiences of the authors gained while assisting fifty percent of the UK Water Plc`s. The advances in wastewater process technologies described in the paper commence with the design and function of the sewerage system, including the need to avoid odour nuisance and excessive corrosion of the sewer fabric, together with the benefits of pre-treatment of wastewaters in the sewers. The paper includes a description of recent advances in processes used for grit separation, settlement of suspended solids, secondary treatment by biological filtration (including submerged aerated filters) and activated sludge and tertiary reed bed treatment, together with some new processes for sludge dewatering, treatment and destruction. In some cases, details of performance and costs are given together with advantages and disadvantages based on operational experience.
Creativity And Education: An Australian Perspective

In Australia in recent years there has been intense interest at policy making level in promoting creativity in schools because of its perceived benefits for society. However, this has not been accompanied by thoroughgoing implementation of creativity as a basic pedagogical principle. Such implementation is being hindered by a tendency to restrict understanding of creativity to artistic activities, to conflate creativity with giftedness or special needs, and to regard fostering creativity as incompatible with promoting traditional classroom skills. Nonetheless, some Australian theorists and researchers have emphasized the need for creative pedagogy in all areas of curriculum and with all students. Creative pedagogy is argued to improve learning and reduce misbehaviour, boredom, absenteeism, and the like. It requires appropriate concepts of creativity and well worked out terminology to facilitate communication among the various parties involved. These should flow into effective teacher training in creative teaching methods and guidelines for classroom processes such as assessment.

Background: To create a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution, Sculptra must first be reconstituted with 5 ml sterile water for injection. This reconstitution process has evolved, has become the norm, and has been recommended for use across the globe since it was marketed to the public for aesthetic reasons. The granuloma formation problem of Sculptra Aesthetic is troublesome to some injectors. It can appear anywhere that you injected and is erratic. According to some patients, the inappropriate mixing of Sculptra microparticles with sterile water or the inability of the microparticles to fully dissolve into the solution are to blame for the development of granulomas. Objective: This article aimed to demonstrate a new reconstitution method (with images) for mixing Sculptra with normal saline. Methods: In the new reconstitution method, we attached a 21G sterile needle to a sterile, single-use 5 ml syringe. Thereafter, we withdrew 2.5 ml normal saline into the 5 ml syringe. The 21G sterile needle was then introduced into the stopper of the vial, and we slowly added all normal saline into the vial. The vial was shaken vigorously to ensure the full hydration of the content. After shaking, the physician could then add any volume of normal saline. Results: A homogenous mixture of Sculptra can be achieved using this new reconstitution method. The mixture is ready to use after the immediate reconstitution of Sculptra. Conclusion: This novel reconstitution technique for Sculptra will result in less unpleasant treatment and less foam wastage on the part of the physician.
Abuse of Process and Regulation in Commercial Arbitration – A Chinese Perspective

This paper discusses the problem of extraordinary delay in the commercial arbitration process, increased arbitration fees, and denial of the benefits of arbitration to other parties due to the abuse of procedural rights by relevant parties in commercial arbitration process. This paper proposes measures to reduce abuse of process in commercial arbitration, such as statutory modification, judicial supervision, amendment of arbitration rules and the intervention of disciplinary bodies.
