The current Sudanese preschool system depends on limited methods of education, children's education needs to be equipped to keep pace with technological development, also, the large gap that exists between the families and the Kindergartens, where many parents have no idea on how their child progresses in the KG context. The aim of this research is to integrate ICT in the preschool education to enhance and improve the preschool education, by building an Integrated Educational Application (Computerized Application for Preschool Education CAPE) which will help to improve the learning outcomes. The researchers used the Experimental Research Methodology, the characteristic of CAPE application is; suitable for children's age, the application style is more attractive to the children and contains a different way to help children get learning. Alawaeel and the Smart Child Kindergartens in Republic of Sudan were selected as a sample of the study, with sample size specifically, 50 children's. Also, the Central Bank of Sudan Kindergarten was selected as one of the institutional Kindergartens for easy communication with parents of children with a sample size 21 children. The study found that; using CAPE application in KG enables children to increase general learning effects and developing child's cognitive skills. Also, the children who were allowed to use CAPE by their parents are performed better in the overall evaluation of KG lessons. Also, using the CAPE in the Pre-School education helps the parents following their children's progress better and more reliable. The researcher recommends that to apply the computerized application and includes the second level. Also, converting the computerized program into an application to be used by children by their self, without the intervention of parents.

The Effect of Platform Screen Doors on PM10 Levels in a Subway Station and a Trial to Reduce PM10 in Tunnels

        손윤석,Amgad Salama,정효선,Suhyang Kim,정진호,이재효,선우영,김조천 한국대기환경학회 2013 Asian Journal of Atmospheric Environment (AJAE) Vol.7 No.1

PM10 concentrations were measured at four monitoring sites at the Daechaung station of the Seoul subway. The four locations included two tunnels, a platform, and a waiting room. The outside site of the subway was also monitored for comparison purposes. In addition, the effect of the platform screen doors (PSDs) recently installed to isolate the PM10 in a platform from a tunnel were evaluated, and a comparison between PM10 levels during rush and non-rush hours was performed. It was observed that PM10 levels in the tunnels were generally higher than those in the other locations. This might be associated with the generation of PM10 within the tunnel due to the train braking and wear of the subway lines with the motion of the trains, which promotes the mixing and suspension of particulate matter. During this tunnel study, it was observed that the particle size of PM10ranged from 1.8 to 5.6 μm. It was revealed that the PM10 levels in the tunnels were significantly increased by the PSDs, while those in the platform and waiting room decreased. As a result, in order to estimate the effect of ventilation system on PM10 levels in the tunnels, fans with inverters were operated. It was found that the concentration of PM10 was below 150 μg/m3when the air flow rate into a tunnel was approximately 210,000-216,000 CMH.

Characterization of Novel Trichoderma asperellum Isolates to Select Effective Biocontrol Agents Against Tomato Fusarium Wilt

        Mahmoud H. El_Komy,Amgad A. Saleh,Anas Eranthodi,Younes Y. Molan 한국식물병리학회 2015 Plant Pathology Journal Vol.31 No.1

The use of novel isolates of Trichoderma with efficient antagonistic capacity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL) is a promising alternative strategy to pesticides for tomato wilt management. We evaluated the antagonistic activity of 30 isolates of T. asperellum against 4 different isolates of FOL. The production of extracellular cell wall degrading enzymes of the antagonistic isolates was also measured. The random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) method was applied to assess the genetic variability among the T. asperellum isolates. All of the T. asperellum isolates significantly reduced the mycelial growth of FOL isolates but the amount of growth reduction varied significantly as well. There was a correlation between the antagonistic capacity of T. asperellum isolates towards FOL and their lytic enzyme production. Isolates showing high levels of chitinase and β-1,3-glucanase activities strongly inhibited the growth of FOL isolates. RAPD analysis showed a high level of genetic variation among T. asperellum isolates. The UPGMA dendrogram revealed that T. asperellum isolates could not be grouped by their antagonistic behavior or lytic enzymes production. Six isolates of T. asperellum were highly antagonistic towards FOL and potentially could be used in commercial agriculture to control tomato wilt. Our results are consistent with the conclusion that understanding the genetic variation within Trichoderma isolates and their biochemical capabilities are required for the selection of effective indigenous fungal strains for the use as biocontrol agents.

      • Quality Evaluation of e-Government Services: A Systematic Literature Sudan as a Case Study

Elmouez Samir Abd Elhameed Mohamed,Amgad Atta Abedelmageed Mohammed International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2023 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.23 No.5

The technological revolution, also referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it embraced by government should transform the way governments serve their citizens. The growth of broadband in Africa is leapfrogging its technological development. And thus, many African governments will soon be able to offer quality e-Government services to their citizens. These technologically driven governments will be able to provide decision-makers with timeous information to make judgments that could influence policies. Proponents of e-Government believe that in the digital age, governments can use this information to reduce corruption and increase, accountability, transparency, efficiency, and public participation. e-Government service quality should ensure customer satisfaction. Although many studies have examined the role of e-Government and the quality of its services, few studies have examined the quality of e-Government services in terms of both supply and demand. This paper examines and reviews the academic-state-of-the-art on the factors that affect the quality of e-Government services from both perspectives. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods for data gathering and analysis, a mixed methods research methodology was used.
