The aims of this study was intended to analyze the factors that influenced mauˇl-bus routes and to grasp a classification of mauˇl-bus route patterns in Seoul considering those factors and the characteristics of their distributions. The results of the analysis are summarized as the followings : Firstly, with respect to the factors having an influence on the establishment of mauˇl-bus routes in Seoul, it was judged that population of each administrative district, the present situation of land use and the characteristic of transportation by routes acted on the establishment of mauˇl-bus routes. Secondly, results from the factor analysis showed that 68.7% of the total variance in the data set could be accounted for by six factors. Thirdly, as a result of making a cluster analysis for dividing the homogeneous area by setting six factor scores extracted from the factor analysis as a variable, nine groups were clustered.

An objective for this study is to apply a SED runoff model and identify its applicability in a ungauged watershed. Since there is no observation value, Tank model is used as a comparison subject which its applicability has been identified. We obtained the parameters of the models by the trial and error method. The SED runoff model predicted a runoff from Banbyun-chun watershed in Nakdong river basin. Although the peak flow of SED model was a bit less than the one of Tank model, the hydrographs of SED model and Tank model were showed a similar shape. Accordingly, the SED model shows a good applicability in ungaugred watershed.

This study aims at the estimation of a water quality improvement scheme by an environmental control discharge in Shinchun. The Qual-He model is analyzed for a water quality forecasting and an environmental control discharge. For the Qual-He model, Shinchun is composed of 16 reaches and 31 elements from Kachang bridge to downstream. The analysis channel length in Shinchun is 12.4km, and a reach is 0.8km. When the discharge is drought flow(0.052CMS) at Kachang bridge, the Qual-He model is calculated the environmental control discharge to achieve the water quality improvement(BOD 8ppm). For the water quality improvement in Shinchun, the development scheme of a long and short term with an existing and establishing water source facility is obtained.

This paper examines J.M. Coetzee’s Summertime from the perspective of autobiography. The text demonstrates the issues Coetzee confronts while novels are being written and represents a partial history of South Africa. Vincent, who is engaged in writing John’s biography, faces the same challenges as not only an autobiographical writer but also a novelist. Although Vincent tries to construct John’s true self, his figure is fragmented, scattered, delayed and “deferred” in terms of Jacques Derrida’s definition of “différance”. To compromise the situation, an author intervenes in the context; however, the author cannot represent his characters as they are, and thus writing becomes a place in which a textual game is played out. Despite this situation, when it comes to Vincent’s role as a biographer, readers are able to follow the history of John as well as the interviewees and can find the ‘trace’ that they carry with the context. This trace shows the figure of John as a ‘device’, in relation to Viktor Shklovsky’s term, used to combine all the fragments (interviewees’ history), who suffer isolation and discrimination under apartheid. Furthermore, this device, in relation to the concept of Gilles Deleuze’s ‘fragment’ and ‘transversality’, is extended to represent the painful history of all South Africans and the country itself.
실리콘 미세가공을 이용한 열전형 미소유량센서 제작 및 특성

A thermoelectric flow sensor for small quantity of gas flow rate was fabricated using silicon wafer semiconductor process and bulk micromachining technology. Evanohm R alloy heater and chromel-constantan thermocouples were used as a generation heat unit and sensing parts, respectively. The heater and thermocouples are thermally isolated on the Si3N4/SiO2/Si3N4 laminated membrane. The characteristics of this sensor were observed in the flow rate range from 0.2 slm to 1.0 slm and the heater power from 0.72 mW to 5.63 mW. The results showed that the sensitivities(∂(∆V)/∂(); ∆V: voltage difference, : flow rate) were increased in accordance with heater power rise and decreasing of flow rate.
