        The effect of red ginseng ethanol extract on the inninotoxicity of diethylstilbestrol (DES) was studied in ICR mice. ICR male mice were divided into 5 groups (10mice/group), and red ginseng ethanol extract(50, 100 and 200 ㎎/㎏ body wt., respectively) and DES (1㎎/㎏ boky wt.) were injected intraperitoneally (i.p.) to ECR mice once a day for 2 weeks. Mice wre sentitized and challenged with sheep red blood cells(S-RBC). Immune response were evaluated by humoral immunity, cell-meiated immunity, non-specific immunity, and circulating leukocyte counts. The results of this study were summarized as followings: 1. The DES-treated control group as compared with normal group showed the tendency to decrease body weight rate and relative liver weight, decreased both humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocyte activity, and circulating leudocyte counts, but increased the natural killer (NK) cell activity. 2. Compared with the DES-treated control group, DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract-treated groups significantly decreased the body weight rate(P<0.01). Rclative liver weight was significantly decreased in DES plus RED ginseng ethanol extract (50㎎/㎏)-treated group (P<0.01), but significantly increased in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract (100㎎/㎏)-treated group (P<0.01). Relative spleen and thymus weights were significantly enhanced in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract (100㎎/㎏)-treated group(P<0.01), but significantly decreased in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract (200㎎/㎏)-treated group(P<0.01) 3. Both humoral and cellular immune responses were significantly decreased in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract-treated groups rather than in the DES-treated control group(P<0.01). Especially, it weakened the decrease in DES plus red ginseng ethanlo extract (100㎎/㎏)-treated group. 4. Phagocyte activity and circulating leudocyte counts were significantly decreased in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract-treated groups rather than in the DES-treated control group (P<0.01). Especially, it weakened the decrease in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract (100㎎/㎏)-treated group (P<0.01), but significantly decreased in DES plus red ginseng ethanol extract (50 and 200 ㎎/㎏)-treated groups (P<0.01).

        Best Effort 환경에 적절한 멀티미디어 데이터 전송 알고리즘 설계

        화상회의 응용이 인터넷을 통해 최선의 서비스를 제공하려면 실 시간성을 지원해야 하는데, 인터넷의 동적인 특성상 멀티미디어 응용의 서비스 품질을 보장하지 못한다. 이런 이유로 화상회의 용용은 송신자와 수신자 사이의 현재 사용 가능한 대역폭을 측정하여 데이터를 적절하게 전송하는 것이 필요하다.<br/> 본 논문은 RTCP(Real-time Transport Control Protocol)를 사용하여 가용 대역폭을 측정하고, 측정된 가용 대역폭을 토대로 멀티미디어 데이터를 적절하게 전송하기 위해 코덱에서의 데이터 생성량을 줄이고, 데이터 압축률을 변화시키고, 전송 버퍼에서 패킷 손실률을 기반으로 패킷의 우선 순위에 따라 프레임을 폐기하여, 대역폭에 유연하게 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. Various applications of video conferencing are required real-time transmission in order to offer service of best effort in internet. Because the bandwidth of internet changes dynamically, appropriated QoS could not be guaranteed. To resolve the problem, available bandwidth between sender and receiver is measured. And according to measured bandwidth, the transmission of multimedia data is controlled.<br/> In this paper, we propose algorithm of efficient transmission for best QoS in internet. According to a present status of network, we measure available bandwidth using feedback RTCP information and change a compression rate to reduce a producing CODEC data. And according to the priority that is measured by packet loss for received RTCP information, we abandon frames indicated as lower weight in transmission buffer of sender.

        광역망에서의 서비스 위치 탐색 및 다운로드 프로토콜의 개선

        컴퓨팅 장비가 네트워크에 수용되었을 때 이들이 가지는 서비스의 탐색과 위치 정보를 제공하는 프로토콜인 IETF의 SLP의 기능을 광역화하고, 이동통신을 위한 유무선 네트워크를 수용하며, WIF에서 추진하는 서비스의 분산화 경향을 지원할 수 있도록 개선하기 위하여 Liaison Agent와 Forwarding Agent를 추가하고 이들 사이의 정보 교환을 위한 LAAdvert 메시지를 정의한다. LA 엔티티는 광역망에 존재하는 서비스의 위치를 확인해주며, FA 엔티티는 서비스 정보를 전달해주는 역할을 담당한다. 나머지 메시지 즉, SrvRqst, SrvRply, AttrRqst, AttrRply, DAAdvert, SrvReg, SrvAck, SrvDeReg의 사용은 동일하며 하며, 광역 서비스망에서도 동일한 방식으로 활용한다. 개선된 프로토콜의 동작을 페트리넷으로 모델링하고, 페트리넷의 실행을 통하여 데드락과 라이브락의 문제가 없음을 확인한다. To make service location protocol of IETF which is to be used in the wide area network to discover the location of desired service when computing resources are connected to the network, and to support simless connectivity between wired and wireless network in service viewpoint, to support the diversity trend of service agents in WIF, it needs to improve SLP, so as to add Liaison Agent and Forwarding Agent with FAAdvert message that is to communicate in between those entities. LA entity confirms the location of service located in wide area network, and FA transfers service information. The usage of existing messages such as SrvRqst, SrvRply, AttrRqst, AttrRply, DAAdvert, SrvReg, SrvAck, SrvDeReg is same as ever in wide area service network. The behaviors of improved protocol is modeled into petri-net and prove that it is free of deadlock and live-lock by execution of the model.
