Daecheong lake is the most important water supply source to the middle part of Korea. This investigation study is carried out to examine eutrophic states of Daecheong lake. The major results derived from analyses of water quality data measured in the period from April to November in 1986 are as follows. 1)Daecheong lake reached eutrophic stage as the result of evaluation about nutrient concentrations and chlorophyll-a level, Carlson's TSI(trophic state index), and phosphorous models such as Vollenweider and Dillon model. 2) A great quantity of pollutants are entered into Daecheong lake during the rainy season from July to September, and algal blooms are detected on the surface of the lake in September. 3) Seasonal change of dominated algal species in the lake is clear, and main algal causing eutrophication are identified as Anabaena and Anacystis.

The tourism has recognized important industry in Korea after IMF economic crisis. The Korea does preparing for event visit in Korea year 2001 and will takes the World cup soccer games year 2002. The government support the tourist hotels as national tax system policy. For example, The tourist hotels imposed the value added tax of 10 percent about rooms charge to last year. But The value added tax is adapted tax free from this year. Meanwhile The domestic taxes had heavily imposed to tourist hotels than normal taxes rate. The subject of heavy taxes rate is imposed property of Buildings and complex land tax. When the hotel building and land used to night club, and hotel building was built intelligent building system were imposed heavily tax rate. The tourist hotels of special class operating night club for foreign tourist. That hotels earned incomes foreign currency. And This hand and hotel building should be imposed except from heavily tax rate. The hotels of intelligent building system are protect the foreign tourist from danger. And The government should be support tax system to tourist hotels.
漢江에 流入되는 中浪川의 BOD負荷量과 稀釋에 關한 硏究

For an estimation of quantitative biochemical oxygen demand (B.O.D) loading to the Jungrang stream, the number of the residents and the amount of industrial products by manufacture items are investigated in the drainage of the stream. The amount of estimated B.O.D. were compared with the calculated value based on the tested B.O.D. concentration and the measured flow rate. Analysing the dilution of B.O.D. loading and flow rate, the B.O.D. concentrations in 1981 at the confluence of the Han River and the Jungrang stream after treating waste are presented. The major results of this survey are summarized as follows: 1) The estimated B.O.D. loading almost coincides with the measured B.O.D. loading. 2) The ratio of industrial B.O.D. loading to domestic B.O.D. loading is estimated at two to three. 3) The amount of industrial discharge produced by thirty-one plants having over 100 ton/day of was te-water is found to occupy 86 per cent of total amount of industrial waste. 4) The master plan of the Jungrang Sewage Treatment plant has been set at the capacity of 280,000㎥/day. However, the total waste in 1981 is estimated to be 492,870㎥/day which exceeds the designed capacity of treatment. 5) It is necessary that B.O.D?? concentration at the downstream site of the Jungrang Stream be limited at less than 14ppm level in order to preserve 3ppm of B.O.D. in the Han River as a water quality standard. 6) When operating the Chunge Sewage Treatment plant with the effluent of 19ppm and the Jungrang Sewage Treatment plant with that of 20ppm of B.O.D??, concentration of 1.62ppm level at the upstream site of the confluence of the Han River is estimated to be 3.37ppm at the confluence while B.O.D?? concentration of 2.30ppm at the upstream site of the confluence of the Han River is estimated to be at 3.98ppm level at the confluence through dilution.

For the analysis of characteristics of water polutant load of the major rivers including Nackdong River, Keumgang River, Youngsan River, Sumjin River and Mankyung River, following results are obtained. 1) In water quality estimating of rivers, the relationship between population density and water quality is of more practical use than the relationship between pollutant effluent per unit catchment area and water quality. 2) The more the ratio of farming area to the basin is high, the more the ratio of pollutant load to effluent is low. 3) The ratio of pollutant load is positive function to the value of population density/ (catchment area)½, and exhibited as different value by river. 4) Municipal development results in high ratio of pollutant load to the pollutant effluent under situation of lack sewage treatment capacity.
