본 논문은 제15권 제3호(1982년 9월)의 제(I)보에 이어 기재되는 제(II)보이다. 제(I)보에서는 1. 서론 2. 분석기법과 수질모형의 이론, 3. 분석자료의 목차 순으로서 연구의 내용과 이론적 근거와 분석에 필요한 자료를 정리하여 제시하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 노량진 및 뚝도 지점의 DO, 탁도, 수온등의 특정수질에 대하여 (1) 수질의 주기성 발견, (2) 수질변동의 특성파악, (3) 시별 DO에 대한 자기 회귀모형의 추론, (4) 일별 DO에 대한 ARIMA 모형의 적용평가에 대한 것이다.

어둠속의 自我 : D·H. Lawrence의 Sons and Lovers 에서 From Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence

In studying Lawrence his early masterpiece "Sons and Lovers" has been regarded as an autobiographical work. Some sudden change took place in Lawrence's life time. His contemporary modernists like Joyce and Woolf were attempting extremely new narrative devices in literature, and industrialized society caused lifeless mechanism in life. He also attempted a kind of revolution in his subject of his novels; a sex problem between men and women, which was put under taboo in the moral sense then. He firmly believed that the great relationship in human was that of man and women. He explored an ideal relationship between them in his works. He hated greedy mechanism, and averted his eyes from modernist's new devices. He was an stubborn individualist. He had two sides of self; a light-self as well as dark-self. His mother was said to be a stern puritan while his father was a sensual coal-miner. These two elements in his spirit made him wander in seeking his real self in adolescence. All his works are his self-exploration, self-questioning, and experimental self-testing. We are going to examine his thoughts mainly in trems of his thought-adventures and wish-fulfilments loyal to his own self, and how his self grew up in his boyhood through analyzing the work. He described his early experience about love in the work well dramatized, which shows his future development in seeking relationship between man and woman. His concerns were not in creating art but achieving his self. His novels were simply a means by which he could make explicit his own thoughts. He created his own religion in blood and flesh. He asserted some peculiar relation theories between man and woman; equilibrium, phallicism, and phallic-tenderness. All they resulted from his peculiar self. Mrs. Morel unsatisfied with her husband Morel had hidden secret of her first failed love. William's death made her turn to Paul (protagonist) for her fulfilment with the result that he was unable to achieve satisfactory relationship with other girls like Miriam and Clara. Her possessive feelings to Paul as a lover made him stick to her. There was no possibility of realizing his real self. His love turned back into her, so that he could not be free to go forward with his own life and really love another woman. Her power over Paul prevented him from acquiring independence of his real self. We are invited to see the ultimate significance if liberating him from her and leaving him free to develop both as a man and as an artist. The twin themes of Paul's development as an artist and his sexual development can be found in the work. Our main concern is his self-exploration.

낙동강 중류부의 자정능력에 대한 연구 -용존산소를 중심으로-

Measuring the river flow and water quality in the midstream of the Nakdong River, the natural purification status in examined through the analyses of the elements which affect the variation of dissolved oxygen, and DO model is evaluated to the midstream reach of the river. The major results of this study are as follows; the pruification factor of the of the river is relatively high, it is worried over eutrophication considering much production of algae, and it is evaluated that important factor affecting the DO value computed by the proposed DO model are in order of reaeration coefficient, carbonaceous BOD and deoxygenation constant.

우리나라 河川의 流出汚染 負荷量에 對한 硏究 : 洛東江, 錦江, 榮山江, 萬頃江 및 蟾津江을 中心으로

For the analysis of characteristics of water polutant load of the major rivers including Nackdong River, Keumgang River, Youngsan River, Sumjin River and Mankyung River, following results are obtained. 1) In water quality estimating of rivers, the relationship between population density and water quality is of more practical use than the relationship between pollutant effluent per unit catchment area and water quality. 2) The more the ratio of farming area to the basin is high, the more the ratio of pollutant load to effluent is low. 3) The ratio of pollutant load is positive function to the value of population density/ (catchment area)½, and exhibited as different value by river. 4) Municipal development results in high ratio of pollutant load to the pollutant effluent under situation of lack sewage treatment capacity.

This study is performed to allocate pollutant loading by sub-watershed in Youngsan river stream to achieve water quality standard. Linear programming method was applied to minimize reduction rate of pollutant loading considering cost aspect. Constrained condition for water quality standard of reach was concerned 3㎎/ℓ of BOD. Constrained condition for maximum reduction rate was considered as 90%. Watershed of Youngsan river stream was divided into 8 sub-watersheds. Pollutant loading of Kwangjucheon, mainstream 2 and 3 composed of a half of total pollutant loading. Optimal solution for object function to achieve constrained condition of water quality standard and reduction rate didn't exist because of Kwangjucheon, mainstream 2 and 3. This study shows if sub-watershed of Kwangjucheon, mainstream 2 and 3 is well manned, water quality of Youngsan reach can achieve water quality standard relatively smell reduction rate at other sub-watershed.

Parade of Villains in David Copperfield

Like most of Charles Dickens, novels, "David Copperfield" originally came out as a monthly serial between May 1849 and November 1850. It is probably the most popular of all the novels he wrote, and it is certainly the most autobiographical. It is known that Dora was based on Dickens, memories of his first love, Maris Beadnell. But we must take care not to fall into an intentional fallacy. Of all the characters he created, villains reveal the social reality of the evils best. Dickens deliberately generated the greatest amount of external conflict between goodness and badness. His picture of the vices and wretchedness are sufficient to strike the heart of the most careless and insensitive readers. He created the perfect type of villains UriahrHeep, Steerforth, Mr. Murdstone and so forth. He is particularly skillful at giving a sense of the way the world looks to a child. One of his devices of characterization is the realistic detailed description of villains through the eye of children. His villains have both their own personality and particularity, though they are typical. All of his villains have the desire of getting something or someone. The ways of their fulfilling desire are various, and their dialogues are also peculiar like their behaviors. So are their external features. His novel leaves an impression of sentimentality which he possibly never intented. Dickens is a writer of problem. His problems were enough to stir th conscience of readers without disgusting them, to present social evils vividly and truthfully. But he produces too few solutions to these problems. Dickens watched the parade of villains closely and wanted to improve the society without any revolution by force. He loved the lower middle class people, especially their children. Though he lacks artistic unity, he is the greatest genius in English literature.

벼의 엽신 및 캘러스에서 Cytokinin 유도성 A-type 및 C-type Cyclin 유전자의 발현 분석

The expression patterns of cyclin genes, which play a crucial role on cell cycle control, were analyzed with rice calli and leaf blades from seedlings. When callus was transferred from media containing the combinations of 2,4-D and kinetin under the dark conditions to medium supplemented with cytokinin-only on 7 days after the cultures, the expression levels of A-, B- and C-type cyclins from callus were increased significantly. Despite the fact that cyclin genes were well expressed on leaf blades rather than other organs in rice seedlings, rice leaf blades grown on the medium containing various combinations and concentrations of cytokinin for 24 hours had no major effect on the expression patterns of cyclins except zeatin. The relation between cytokinin regulation and the expression of cyclins of rice is discussed. 세포 주기의 조절에 있어 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있는 cyclin 유전자들을의 발현 양상을 벼에서 유도한 캘러스와 엽신을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 특히 캘러스를 이용한 분석 결과 2,4-D와 kinetin이 조합된 배지 위에 7일 동안 암 배양한 후 이를 cytokinin만이 첨가된 배지로 옮겼을 때 A-, B-, C-type cyclin 유전자들의 발현이 더 증가되었다. 또한 벼 실생의 각 기관에서 cyclin 유전자의 발현양을 조사한 결과 다른 기관들에 비해 잎에서 A-, B, C-type cyclin 유전자들이 더 많이 발현하였으나 잎에 cytokinin의 종류와 농도를 다르게 처리하여 24시간동안 배양한 결과에서는 zeatin을 제외하고는 cytokinin의 종류와 양이 cyclin 유전자들의 발현에 큰 영향을 미치지 못함을 알 수 있었다. 본 실험에서는 벼 cyclin 유전자의 발현과 식물생장조절제 처리와의 상관 관계에 대해서 조사하였다.
