This study is to optimize design parameters for waste heat recovery boiler with water tube and three drum. The design optimization considered here is to find the most economic dimension of the boiler considered which results in a minimum cost in producing a unit amount of steam per given period of operation. For this purpose, optimize design have to determine what are the main parameters of affecting the total cost of producing a unit amount of steam which is comprised of manufacturing cost of the boiler, operating cost of the fan etc.
Indicator of Facility Performance Evaluation (FPE) for Educational Facilities of BTL Projects

Build-Transfer-Lease (BTL) was introduced to the domestic construction market in 2005. Now, seven years later, the BTL model is most active for educational facilities. In 2011, 93 educational facility projects entered the maintenance stage. Considering the characteristics of today’s BTL projects for educational facilities, the main issues are the initial performance and maintenance of educational facilities and the service-providing status for the 20-year operational management period, in relation to providing safety and convenience to students, the facility users. Seeking a solution, local education offices and departments in charge of BTL under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology have been exploring various methods of evaluating operational maintenance performance from various perspectives. For educational facility BTL projects, however, the appropriateness of initial operation performance evaluation, rather than considering the 20-year operational management period, is controversial in regards to sustainability. On this account, performance evaluation items in four areas—operational maintenance evaluation, facility performance status evaluation, maintenance subject evaluation, and sustainable change response evaluation—should be extracted. An indicator of facility performance evaluation is presented in this study through an AHP survey targeting experts, as part of establishing an operation performance evaluation system for educational facility BTL projects.

Based on the performance data of management costs in educational facilities that have been actually invested in last 20 years for budget support to school facility managers, this study intends to forecast facility management costs to be arisen 20 years later. Moreover, annual weight by classes & grades would be derived base on maintenance level, and ultimately the annual ratio of facility management costs by school classes would be presented. Based upon such results, efficient budget allocation on school facility management costs and standards for preventive maintenance would be prepared.

This study is to obtain optimized design parameters of waste heat boiler with fire and smoke tube which are widely used to provide process and building heat. The optimum parameters obtained in this study can be used as a guideline for actual. boiler design of this type. The design optimization considered here is to find the most economical dimensions of the boiler considered which results in a minimum cost in producing a unit amount of steam per given period of operation. For this purpose, the first we have to determine what are the main parameters of affecting the total cost of producing a unit amount of steam which is comprised of manufacturing cost of the boiler, operating cost of the fan, etc. For the selected design parameters, we will have to decide the conditions of each parameter which will result in the minimum total cost. For the waste heat boiler with fire and smoke tube under consideration, the major parameters of affecting the total cost are considered to the diameter of the smoke tube and the gas velocity among others. The two parameters selected here are considered for finding the optimum size of the boiler by minimizing the total cost which is a function of the manufacturing cost, purchasing cost of the fan, and the operation cost of the system. Through computer simulation, the optimum conditions of these two parameters are obtained for different boiler capacities and different periods of operation.
