      • 대두와 Magnesium 급여가 당뇨쥐의 혈청과 간의 단백질 농도 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향

        Streptozotocin으로 유발시킨 당뇨쥐에 20% 생콩 및 20% 생콩에 마그네슘을 첨가한 식이로 4주간 사육하였다. 체중, 간, 신장 및 비장의 무게, 간과 혈청중 단백질농도, 그리고 혈청중 GOT, GPT 및 alkaline phosphatase의 활성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 당뇨를 유발한 실험군은 당뇨병으로 인한 대사장애로 대조군에 비해 체중이 감소되었다. 간, 신장 및 비장의 무게는 대조군과 모든 당뇨군이 비슷하였으나, 체중에 대한 간, 비장 및 신장무게의 % 비율은 모든 당뇨군이 대조군보다 유의(p<0.05)하게 증가하였다. 간의 총 단백질과 albumin 농도는 대조군에 비해 모든 실험군에서 유의(p<0.05)하게 감소하였으나, 혈청의 총 단백질과 albumin의 농도 및 A/G ratio는 대조군과 각 당뇨실험군이 비슷한 수준을 보였다. Hemoglobin 농도와 hematocrit 치는 정상수준이었다. 혈청내 GPT 및 alkaline prosphatase의 활성은 대조군에 비해 모든 당뇨유발군이 유의(p<0.05)하게 증가되었다. 그리고 alkaline phosphatase의 활성은 당뇨대조군에 비해 당뇨생콩군과 당뇨생콩+Mg군은 다소 감소되었다. The effects of raw soy flour(RSF) and RSF with magnesium supplementation(RSF+ Mg) feeding on protein concentrations of liver and serum, and GOT, GPT and alkaline phosphatase activities of serum in diabetic versus nondiabetic rats were studied. Male rats(Spraque-Dawley ; mean weight 332.8±19.3g) were assigned to four dietary groups and fed experimental dietary for 28 days. For each experiment, some rats were injected with streptozotocin in intraperitonium(i.p.) to induce diabets, and the other rats were injected with buffer in i.p. as a nondiabetic group. The body weights of diabetic control, RSF and RSF+Mg groups were significantly decreased(p<0.05), but the total weights of liver, kidney and spleen in all the groups did not change compared with those of the nondiabetic group. Total protein and albumin concentrations of liver in all the groups were significantly lower(p<0.05) compared with those of the nondiabetic group. GPT and alkaline phosphatase activities in serum of all the groups were much more increased(p<0.05) than those of the nondiabetic group, but those of RSF and RSF+ Mg groups were similar to those of the diabetic control group.

        저에너지 He-Ne IR laser가 당뇨쥐 말초 신경병증 치유에 미치는 영향

        This studies were to investigate the effects of low power Helium-Neon Infra-Red (He-Ne IR) laser on the healing of the peripheral neuropathy in diabetic rats. The twenty one Spraque-Dewley adult male rats were assigned to the 3 groups: the control group (7), the diabetic group (7) and the laser group (7). The diabetic group was induced with a single intravenous injection of 50mg/kg body weight streptozotocin dissolved to 0.01mol/L citrate buffer, pH 4.5. The experimental laser group was irradiated low power He-Ne IR laser for 5 minutes every day during 21 days to the diabetic group. The results were as follows: For on and two weeks with laser treatment, there were significantly increased the terminal latencies of the laser treatment group than those of diabetic group, but that was significantly decreased to be similar to the control group on the laser treatment group for three weeks. The change of the amplitude on the laser treatment groups for three weeks was significantly increased to be similar to normal group than that of the diabetic group. As the result, we thank that there were activately effected of lower power He-Ne IR laser on the heeling of the peripheral neurophathy in diabetic rats.

        저에너지 He-Ne IR 레이저가 말초신경병증 당뇨쥐의 혈액화학 성분 변화에 미치는 영향

        본 실험은 당뇨로 인한 말초신경병증에 저에너지 레이저의 효과를 알아보기 위해 것으로 흰쥐에 streptozotocin으로 당뇨를 일으켜 당뇨로 인한 말초신경병증을 유발시킨 후 He-Ne IR 레이저를 3주 동안 매일 5분간 조사하여 혈액화학 성분의 변화를 조사한 바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. ALT의 활성치는 당뇨군에 비해 레이저군에서 증가하였으나 유의성은 없었다. AST의 활성치는 대조군과 당뇨군에 비해 레이저군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. LDH는 대조군에 비해 당뇨군과 레이저군에서 유의하게 감소되었다. ALP는 대조군에 비해 당뇨군과 레이저군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. CHOL은 당뇨군에 비해 레이저군에서 유의하게 감소되었다. TRlG는 당뇨군에 비해 레이저군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. CPK는 대조군과 당뇨군에 비해 레이저군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. AST was significantly increased the laser treatment group than the control group and the diabetic group. 3. LDH was significantly decreased the diabetic group and laser treatment group. 4. ALP was significantly increased the diabetic group and laser treatment group. 5. CHOL was significantly decreased the laser treatment group than the diabetic group. 6. TRIG was significantly increased the laser treatment group than the diabetic group. 7. CPK was significantly increased the laser treatment group than the control group and the diabetic group.

      • Ochratoxin A 가 생쥐장기의 無機疾濃度에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate the influence of toxicity of ochratoxin A(OA) on the concentration of minerals in mouse tissues. The mice were administered OA by peritoneal injection, in a dose of 2.5㎎(group A) and 5.0㎎(group B) per ㎏ of body weight, periods from 12, 24 and 48 hours. The results were as follows : The concentrations of zinc in liver, iron in kidney, and sodium in spleen and liver were significantly increased in group A and B than those in control group. In group A and B, liver calcium levels(periods from 12 and 24 hrs) were increased, while kidney potassium and spleen iron levels were decreased. The concentrations of iron in liver were increased in group B(periods from 24 and 48 hrs) compared with control group.

        저 출력 레이저 파장에 따른 화상 쥐 혈청 생화학 성분 변화에 대한 연구

        This studies were to investigate the effects of low power wavelengths Helium-Neon Infra-Red(He-Ne IR)laser on the changes of the blood biochemical components in burn rats. The thirty Spraque-Dewely adult male rats were assigned to the 5 groups; the experimental groups(3), the burn control group(1) and the control group(1). There was made three degree burn by the 250mW IR on the back of each rats, from 3 days after being, burned, the experimental laser groups were irradiated low power wavelengths (292Hz, 1168Hz, 4672Hz) He-Ne IR laser for 5 minutes every day during the 7days. The results wee as follows: The activities of aspirate aminotransferase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), on treated with the wavelengths ((292Hz, 1168Hz, 4672Hz) laser groups during 5 min. for 7 days were significantly increased to the control group respectively, but those of total cholesterol(CHOL) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP) were significantly decreased to the a control group (p<0.05). there were significantly decreased on the activity of alanine aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase on the all experimental groups to the burn control group and those of lactate dehydronase on treated with 292Hz and 4672Hz wavelength9 groups to the burn control group but, were significantly increased on those of urea nitrogen (292Hz and 1168Hz)(p<0.05). The activity of AST, LDH, on treated with 1168Hz wavelengths were significantly decreased of the 292Hz and 4672Hz wavelengths groups that of ALT on the treated with 1168Hz group was significantly increased to the 4672 Hz wavelength group but those of CHOL and LDH on the 1168Hz and 4672Hz wavelength groups were dignificatly decreased to the MHz wavelengths group. As above results, the changes of the activities of biochemical conponents in the serum levels on the healing process have meaningful effected of the role of low power wavelengths He-Ne IR laser. 저 에너지 레이저의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 흰쥐에 3도 화상을 유발시켜 He-Ne IR 레이저 파장을 각각 다른 3 분류 파장을 이용하여 1일 5분씩 7일 동안 조사하여 파장에 따른 혈액화학성분의 활성 변화를 비교 분석하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. AST, ALT, LDH 및 UA의 활성은 대조군에 비해 전체 실험군들에서 유의하게 증가되었으며 CHOL 과 ALP 는 유의하게 감소되었다. 2. ALT 와 ALP는 화상대조군에 비해 전실험군들에서 유의하게 감소되었으나 292Hz 와 4672Hz 치료군들에서는 유의하게 감소되었다. 그러나 UA는 292 Hz 와 1168Hz 치료군들에서는 유의하게 증가되었다. 3. AST, LDH의 활성은 파장 292 Hz 와 4672Hz 치료군들에 비해 1168Hz 치료군에서는 유의하게 감소되었으며, ALP 활성은 4672Hz 치료군에 비해 1168Hz 치료 군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. CHOL 과 LDH의 활성 은 파장 292 Hz 치료군에 비해 1168Hz 와 4672Hz 치료 군들에서 유의하게 감소되었다.

      • 서울 一部 零細地域住民을 對象으로 한 身體 및 精神 障碍의 疫學的 硏究

        An interview survey with structured questionaires was carried out on one of the slum populations located in Seoul study the magnitude of social and medical problems ensued from the impairments. and to provide necesary information for planning specific programs such as preventive measures as well as physical and social rehabilitation services for impaired people. The survey was conducted by the trained interviewers under the continuous supeicvision of responsible research workers from July to August of 1997. One thousand three hundred and ninety households among over 7,000 households of the area were randomly sampled by Tong unit; Over 90% of the sampled population,3,116 males and 3,297 females,were interviewed individually. The results obtained are as following: 1. The age adjusted prevalence for all type of the impairments was 21.7 for male and 11.6 for female per 1,000 person interviewed, which was much higher than that of rural area reported by other studies. The age group specific prevalence showed gradual increase as age advanced especially for males. 2. The prevalence by type of the impairments was 10.1 for the impairments of extremities, 1.4 for both eyes blinded, 1.6 for one eye blinded, 0.8 for spine impairments, 0.3 for deaf of both ears. 0.5 for epilepsy, and each 0.2 for mental retardation and cleft lip per 1,000 persons. The impairments of extremities were the most frequent, 64.4% of all impairments. 3. The causes of the impairments when classified into two categories, were congenital in 17.8% and acquired in 82.2%. The acqired cases consist of all type of accidents (47.0%), sequelae of other diseases (42.2%-poliomyelitis, CVA, systemic infectious diseases, bone tuberculosis, and eye diseasesetc.), war-injury (4.8%), and unknown cause (6.0%) 4. The status of treatment when the impairment occurred showed that 25.7% of all cases never been medically attended. Among those, who attended for some sort of treatments, 45% of them were hospital-ized, 29.4% were treated at out-patient clinics, each 11.9% of them were treated in drug stores or by herb-doctors. 5. The grade of disability resulted from the impaired condition varied by the type of the impairments. However, 59.4% of all impaired had such grade of disability that they could work for any kind of selected kind of jobs. Severely disabled persons who needed other's help partially or totally for daily living activities at home consisted 31.7% of all impaired. 6. The status of welfare program for eligible impaired showed aparent deficiencies in all services; only 15.7% of the eligibles have had vocational trainings, 15.2% of those who needed prosthetic aids had the privilage, and only a quarter of eligibles have been supported by compensation payments.

        발효홍차 음료가 당뇨 암쥐의 지질대사 및 단백질농도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 발효홍차가 당뇨 암쥐의 성장률, 혈청 및 간의 지질 농도, 단백질 농도 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자, 평균체중 155.5$\pm$9.3 g 전후되는 Sprague- Dawley계 암쥐에 음료수를 급여한 정상군, 당뇨대조군 및 당뇨발효홍차군은 음료수에 발효흥차를 20%와 40%씩 혼합한 군 등 4군으로 나누어 각 실험음료로 2주간 사육한 다음, streptozotocin으로 당뇨를 유발시키고 계속 5주간 각 실험음료로 사육하였다. 체중의 변화는 당뇨유발 전 2주간 체중 증가는 대조군과 각 농도별 발효홍차 급여군이 비슷하여 발효홍차가 성장률에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 당뇨유발후 5주간의 체중변화는 정상군 48.3 g증가에 비하여 당뇨대조군과 각 농도별 당뇨발효홍차군은 당뇨로 인한 대사장애로 6.8~7.1 g으로 증가율이 낮았다. 공복시 혈당량은 당뇨대조군과 당뇨발효홍차군이 비슷한 경향으로 혈당량을 낮추지는 못하였다. 간, 신장 및 췌장의 무게는 당뇨대조군과 각 수준의 당뇨발효홍차군들이 비슷하였다. 그러나 간과 신장의 무게는 정상군 보다 당뇨 실험군들이 유의하게 증가되었으며, 췌장의 무게는 정상군보다 당뇨실헌군들이 유의하게 감소하였다. 혈청의 중성지질 농도는 40% 당뇨발효홍차군에서, LDL-콜레스테롤 농도는 20% 당뇨발효홍차군이 당뇨대조군 보다 유의하게 감소되었다. 혈청의 총 콜레스테롤, HDL-콜레스테롤 및 인지질 농도, HDL-콜레스테롤/총 콜레스테롤 비율 및 동맥경화지수는 당뇨대조군과 각 당뇨발효홍차군들이 비슷하였다. 간의 콜레스테롤 농도는 당뇨대조군과 각 당뇨발효홍차군들이 비슷하였으나, 중성지질 농도는 당뇨대조군에 비하여 당뇨발효홍차군들이 유의하게 감소되었고, 인지질 농도는 40% 당뇨발효홍차군에서 유의하게 증가되었다. 혈청의 총 단백질과 알부민 및 간의 단백질 농도, 혈청의 alkaline phosphatase, GOT 및 GPT 활성은 당뇨대조군과 각 당뇨발효홍차군들이 비슷하였다. We investigated the effect of tea fungus/kombucha beverage(TF) on the body weights, the blood glucose levels, lipid and protein concentrations, and enzyme activities in diabetic female rats. Sprague-Dawley rats were fed drinking water supplemented with 20% or 40% TF groups, respectively for 7 weeks. The female rats (mean weight 155.5$\pm$9.3 g) were assigned to one control and three diabetic groups. Diabetic groups were divided into diabetic control (TF free water), 20% or 40% TFD groups (20% or 40% TF in water) according to the levels of TF supplementation. Diabetes was experimentally induced by intraperitonially administration of streptozotocin in citrate buffer(pH 4.3) after 2 weeks feeding of four experimental water. Animals were sacrificed at the 5 weeks of diabetic state. The diabetic groups showed significantly decrease of body weight(6.8-7.5 g) compared with the control group(48.3 g). The hepatic, kidney and pancreatic weights of 20% or 40% TFD groups were not significantly different with D-control group. The fasting serum glucose level were higher in all diabetic groups than that of the control group. The concentrations of serum triglyceride in 40% TFD group and serum LDL-cholesterol in 20% TFD group were significantly decreased compared with the D-control group. The concentrations of serum total cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol/total cholesterol ratio, and atherogenic index in 20% or 40% TFD groups were similar to those in D-control group. The concentrations of hepatic triglyceride in 20% or 40% TFD groups were significantly decreased compared with the D-control group, but the concentrations of hepatic cholesterol and phospholipid were similar to all diabetic groups. The concentrations of serum and hepatic total protein, serum albumin, and the activities of GOT, GPT and LDH in the serum were the same levels of all diabetic groups.
