Tremor is a rhythmic, involuntary muscular contraction characterized by oscillations of a part of the body and is the most common movement disorder. Clinically, tremor isclassified into postural tremor, resting tremor, action tremor, or other kinds of tremor, and treated according to the causes. The appropriate treatment of tremor depends on accurate diagnosis of its cause. We have recently examined a number of tremor-patients diagnosed as cerebellar infarction. Based on traditional Korean medicine curative way, we diagnosed this patient as deficiency of Qi and blood(氣血兩虛). On this account, suitable treatment had been provided. Our results show the clinical symptoms had improved through treatment with herbal medicine (Palmultang-gamibang) and acupuncture, so we report it for better treatment.
수종 지혈 한약물이 Cytochrome P450 3A4 활성에 미치는 영향

Objects : The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of five herbal medicines on cytochrome P450 3A4 drug-metabolizing enzymes in human liver microsomes. Methods : To use human liver microsomes, an extract of five herbal medicines, which are Artemisia princeps Pampan, Sophora jeponica Linne, Panax notoginseng F. H. Chen, Lithospermum Erythrorhizon Sieb., and Cirsium maackii Maxim, which together are called Jihyulyak(止血藥, drugs for arresting bleeding, hemostatics), was co-incubated and measured for relative enzyme activity in incubation condition compared to ketoconazole, a representative inhibitor of CYP 3A4. Results : We showed that all five of the traditional herbal medicines had no inhibition effect of CYP 3A4 at 10, 20, 30, 40, and $50{\mu}g/ml$ doses in human liver microsomes, although Sophora japonica Linne(SJL) showed a little inhibition at about 81% inhibition rate of control. However, this result is not enough to prove that SJL has a CYP 3A4 inhibition effect. Moreover, we can't make sure that those rates had significant induction effect on CYP 3A4. Conclusions : The result of this study could support that those herbal medicines are safer than chemical drugs, even if this is the basic step to prove that result.
GLARE 의 섬유층 배향이 피로층간분리 거동에 미치는 영향

The behavior of fatigue delamination in a GLARE(Glass Fiber Reinforced Metal Laminates) under fatigue loading conditions investigated. The behavior of fatigue delamination was examined basing on investigation of the crack and delamination using a SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscope). The crack and delamination behavior on the relationship among a-N, SAM images and crack length-delamination length were considered. The test results indicated the features of different fatigue delamination and crack growth according to each fiber orientation angle and also obtained to more increase delamination than crack through the relationship between crack length and delamination length in GLARE.
예혼합 연료 공급 조건에 따른 균일 예혼합 압축착화 엔진의 연소특성

A premixed charge compression ignition engine is experimentally investigated for the reduction of exhaust emissions. In this study, gasoline and diesel fuel are applied for premixed fuel and each premixed fuel is injected into the intake manifold 10 form homogeneous pre-mixture in the combustion chamber and then each pre-mixture is ignited by a small amount of diesel fuel directly injected into the cylinder. With two kinds of premixed fuel, NOx and smoke concentration of the exhaust emissions were reduced as compared with the conventional diesel engine, but in the event of diesel fuel for premixed fuel, the rate of smoke reduction was small compared with the case of gasoline as a premixed fuel. HC and CO emissions were increased at high premixed ratio in two premixed fuels. The combustion characteristics of premixed charged diesel engine such as the power output, the rate of heat release, and other characteristics are discussed.

This paper is to investigate field application of a metal foam PDPF(partial diesel particulate filter) with gradient pore layer which is applying in aged vehicles from testing in field and chassis dyno with 2.6 Liter diesel vehicle. The on-road test of the metal foam PDPF with gradient foam porosity was conducted under city and urban driving conditions, in order to validate the potential of enhanced passive regeneration activity. In the chassis dyno test, the P.M. reduction rate was achieved to 77% at CVS-75 mode after 80,000㎞ running and the mass emission of P.M. met the requirement for euro-4. In addition, the metal foam PDPF has been tested on-road for 4 hour and more under low and high speed patterns respectively in order to measure soot load index.(SLI) in the two patterns and to validate the regeneration performance. The rate of increase of SLI was reduced to 20% compared to the cordierite DPF in low speed patterns.

For more exact evaluation of the substantial regeneration performance of the passive DPF system matched well with operating conditions in field application, this work is to investigate the performance of the two DPF system, a CSF(Catalysed Soot Filter) and an oxicat+CSF not only on steady cycle but also on transient cycle of dynamometer test based on real road driving pattern instead of the BPT(Balance Point Temperature) test method. And the emission reduction characteristics of the two DPF system also have been compared with each other on steady cycle. To verify the results from the transient cycle test, field tests has been conducted on two equivalent vehicles of which the operation temperature condition of the exhaust gas was similar to that of the transient cycle. The comparison of test results from the dynamometer and field shows that the transient mode is useful to evaluate the actual regeneration capacity for a DPF system since cycle average temperature is very similar to field driving condition. Also, the exhaust gas temperature is very important factor for the regeneration of continuously regenerating diesel particulate filter.
연속재생 DPF의 재생 성능에 미치는 차량 운행패턴의 영향

This paper is to investigate the influence of driving patterns of slow and high speed vehicles on the performance of continuously regenerating diesel particulate filter(DPF) system matched with operating conditions in field application. The DPF performance test for field application was carried out for two identical DPFs installed to slow and high speed vehicles. A slow speed vehicle was selected among local buses which have driving patterns to repeat running and stop frequently, while a high speed vehicle was prepared to have long route of high speed over 60km/h like inter-city buses. In this test, the regeneration performance on the DPF of slow speed vehicle deteriorated because of high soot load index(SLI) in spite of same balance point temperature(BPT) distribution for high speed vehicle. The DPF of slow speed vehicle melted in the end because the rapid increase of back pressure caused high temperature over 1200℃ in the ceramic wall of DPF. The PM components like ash collected to the filter in the DPF were analyzed in order to investigate the cause of the defect and provide an operation performance of DPF system. In the result of the analysis, high levels of lubrication oil ash(Ca, Mg, P, Zn) were detected.
