The purpose of this study is to simulate and evaluate the evacuation time of un-trained passengers on boards with various visibility conditions at the mock fire. Simulation results show that at least 54 seconds is needed for safe evacuation of standard fire condition. As the results of measurements, to save more lives at the conditions of low visibility conditions and obstacles, which make passengers at a state of confusion, new mechanical systems and inducing lights for ships must be reconsidered immediately.

본 논문은 지역 특성에 따른 각 피더의 정전비용 모델을 제시하였다. 수용가 형태별 정전비용은 한국전기연구원에서 실시한 국내 배전계통의 수용가 정전비용 조사결과를 이용하였다. 특정지역에 위치한 피더의 정전비용 산출을 위하여 주택용, 상업용, 공공용, 산업용의 비율을 고려하여 합성 정전비용 모델을 수립하였다. 제시한 기법은 수도권과 중소도시 지역의 한 피더에 대해 사례연구를 수행하여 결과를 제시하였다. This paper presents an interruption cost model of the feeder considering the local characteristics. KERI's survey results for the customers interruption cost are used through the research. Interruption cost of the feeder in a city is calculated in the ratio of customer's types. The customers consists of residencial, commercial, industrial and public type. The proposed method is applied to calculate interruption cost of the feeder in a small city and a metropolitan aria.

전력계통의 신뢰도와 배전계통의 유지보수는 매우 밀접한 관계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 정전비용의 최소화를 목적함수로 배전계통의 유지보수 계획을 수립하는 방안을 제시한다. 시변고장률을 이용하여 배전계통 내 특정설비의 고장으로 인한 정전비용을 수식화하고 공급구역의 정전비용을 목적함수로 최적화를 수행하며 경제성 분석을 통하여 투자비용 제약을 적용하여 유지보수를 위한 투자설비 우선순위를 결정한다. 제안한 방안을 검증할 모델계통은 국내의 도심지역 변전소를 통해 만들었으며, 제안된 방안의 신뢰도의 이득을 평가함으로서 그 타당성을 검증하였다. The reliability of a power system has close relationship with the maintenance of the distribution systems. This paper presents the method of the maintenance planning of the distribution systems by minimizing the interruption cost. The interruption cost for the equipment failures is formulated using time varying failure rate and minimized by optimization of the object function. The proposed method provides the priority list for the investment of the maintenance subject to the limited investment budget by the economic analysis. In order to test the proposed method, the modified distribution system of a rural area is introduced for the testing system. Test results show that the proposed method is good enough by evaluating the improvement of the reliability of the power system.

LPS로 염증 유도된 RAW 264.7세포에 대한 참콩풍뎅이(Popillia flavosellata) 에탄올 추출물의 항염증 효과

본 연구에서는 참콩풍뎅이(Popillia flavosellata) 에탄올 추출물(PFE)의 항염증 효능을 분석하기 위해 PFE를 농도별(500, 1,000, 2,000 ㎍/ml)로 대식세포인 RAW 264.7에 처리 시 최고 처리농도인 2,000 ㎍/ml까지 통계적인 유의성 있는 독성이 없음을 확인하였다. LPS (100 ng/ml)로 염증 유도된 RAW 264.7 세포에 PFE를 농도별(500, 1,000, 2,000 ㎍/ml)로 동시 처리 시 농도 의존적으로 염증성사이토카인인 TNF-α와 IL-6의 단백질 생성을 통계적인 유의성(p<0.001)있게 억제함을 확인하였다. 또한 염증 유도된 RAW 264.7 세포에 PFE 동시 처리 시 NF-κB p65의 핵으로 이동이 차단됨과 iNOS와 COX-2의 단백질 발현을 감소시키는 것을 확인하였다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 참콩풍뎅이는 염증에 의해 활성화된 TLR-4 신호전달과정을 조절하는 NF-κB p65의 활성과 염증성사이토카인 TNF-α와 IL-6의 생성 및 염증성효소 iNOS와 COX-2의 생성을 억제하는 항염증 효능이 있음을 확인하였다. The beetle Popillia flavosellata has been no reported its functional effects. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effect of P. flavosellata ethanol extract (PFE) on RAW 264.7 mouse macrophage cells treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for the induction of inflammation. First, we examined the cytotoxicity of PFE in the RAW 264.7 cells at a concentration of 2,000 μg/ml or less. To evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of PFE, we investigated the expression levels of proinflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and interleukin (IL)-6, and proinflammatory enzymes, such as inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. In addition, we examined whether PFE inhibited the translocation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) p65 into the nucleus in the LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. We found that the protein levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were decreased in the LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells after the treatment with PFE in a dose-dependent manner. In addition, we confirmed that PFE inhibited the translocation of NF-κB p65 into the nucleus, as well as the protein expression levels of iNOS and COX-2. Accordingly, we propose that PFE exerts an anti-inflammatory effect through the down-regulation of NF-κB p65, TNF-α, IL-6, iNOS, and COX-2 via the toll like receptor (TLR)-4 inflammatory signaling pathway.

N/A Withdrawal of corticosteroids in patients with chronic type B hepatitis is frequently associated with enhanced cellular immune response to hepatitis B virus. This immunolgic rebound generally results in a transient reduction in levels of HBV-DNA and DNA polymerase, and seldom results in clearance of HBeAg. There was a pilot study that the combination of a short course of prednisone followed by ARA-AMP was potentially synergistic. The object of this study was to determine the effect of short term prednisolone followed by ARA-AMP on the immune system in patients with chronic active ltepatitis-B. Patients were started 40 mg of prednisolone daily for 4 weeks. After prednisolone therapy was discontinued, patients received no medication for 2 weeks. ARA-AMP was then given for 4 weeks at a dose of 500 mg daily. Immune parameters such as T cell subsets, IL, production, NK cell activeity, and LAK cell activity were tested before and during treatement period. The resullts were as follows. 1) Basal IL2 production in CAH-B (71.3 unit/ml) was lower than that of normal control (p<0.025). Basal NK activity, T4/T8 ratio and LAK activity of CAH-B were similar to those of normal control. 2) After prednisolone treatment, IL2 production, NK cell activity and LAK cell activity were significantly lower than those of basal value. 3) After induction of immune rebound, IL, production increased to 84.8 unit/ml (basal 71.3 unit/ml,
