탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재의 기계적 특성에 미치는 염수환경의 열습 영향

본 연구에서는 최대 12개월 동안 염수침수시험을 수행하여 염수환경의 열습조건이 복합재의 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 복합재 시편은 직물 형태의 탄소섬유와 에폭시로 구성된 프리프레그를 적층하여 제작하였으며, 노출온도 35℃, 55℃, 75℃가 적용된 염수환경에 완전 침수시키는 조건을 적용하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 복합재의 인장강성과 인장강도는 노출온도와 노출시간이 증가할수록 노출 전에 비해 감소 정도가 크지 않았지만 이에 비해 압축강성과 압축강도는 감소 정도가 크게 나타났다. 특히 압축강도는 노출온도가 증가할수록 염수침투가 가속화되어 감소 정도가 크게 나타났다. In this study, salt-water immersion tests were experimentally performed for up to 12 months to investigate the hygrothermal effect of salt-water environments on the mechanical properties of carbon/epoxy composites. The composites were manufactured by laminating prepregs composed of carbon plain-woven fabric and epoxy resin. The specimens were subjected to temperatures of 35, 55, and 75℃ while being exposed to the salt-water environments. Mechanical test results showed that the tensile modulus and tensile strength decreased at a small rate, and the compressive modulus and compressive strength decreased at a relatively larger rate, as the exposure temperature and time increased. The rate of decrease in compressive strength became larger as the exposure temperature became higher. This is because a higher environmental temperature accelerates the salt-water uptake; this, in turn, reduces the compressive strength more rapidly.
의학전문대학원생의 임상추론 능력 파악을 위한 수정간이구조화관찰법의 효과

Purpose: The brief-structured observation (BSO) is the teaching method during clerkship. To assess the usefulness of BSO in clerkship, the survey of faculties for reflecting medical students’ reasoning process was assessed. Methods: The modified BSO was introduced to clinical curriculum at Department of Pediatrics, Gyeongsang National University Medical School since 2011. A total of 71 third-year students were divided into 8 groups and conducted for 5 weeks each for a total of 40 weeks (64 BSOs in a year). The questionnaire was admitted to all faculties to assess their view on, satisfaction, and self-conception comparing with other educational methods. And the correlation of scores of BSO, bedside oral test, clinical performance examination and final exams were analyzed. Results: In all, 4 faculties agreed that the modified BSO is more helpful to assess the students’ clinical reasoning compared to other bed-side teaching, 5 faculties agreed that it is useful to evaluate the communication skills, and 6 faculties agreed that it is useful tool for feedback to peers. The question about comparing with the real patient, 5 faculties agreed that it was not bad using student as a standardized patient. There were present mild to moderate correlation between BSO score and Bed side oral test (R=0.268, P=0.02), BSO and clinical performance examination (R=0.525, P<0.001). All faculties thought that BSO is feedback method despite it has several disadvantages. Conclusion: The modified BSO might be a useful tool to assess the students’ clinical communication skills and clinical reasoning and helpful feedback tool for peers.
복합적 환경인자의 영향에 의한 접착제의 접착전단강도 및 화학구조 변화

본 연구에서는 유도무기의 탐색기에 적용되는 기존 접착제의 대체 가능성을 조사하기 위해 환경인자의 노출시간에 따른 기존 접착제와 대체 접착제의 접착전단강도들을 평가하고 이들의 화학구조 변화를 조사하였다. 이때 접착제는 기존 접착제와 대체 접착제에 대해 각각 구조용 접착제와 실링용 접착제의 두 종류를 고려하였다. 이들 접착제는 온도, 수분, 자외선 등의 복합적인 환경인자에 최대 1000시간 동안 노출시켰다. 환경인자의 노출시간에 따른 접착제의 접착전단강도를 평가하기 위해 접착전단시험을 수행하고 화학구조 변화를 조사하기 위해 ATR 적외선 분광분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 대체 접착제의 접착전단강도는 기존 접착제의 경우에 비해 높으며 환경인자의 노출에도 매우 안정적으로 나타나 대체 접착제는 기존 접착제의 대체용으로 적용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. Adhesive shear strengths of the established adhesives and the alternative adhesives were evaluated and their chemical structures were analyzed in order to investigate the possibility of replacing the established adhesives with the alternative adhesives applicable to the seeker for the guided missiles. Two types of the adhesives such as the structural adhesives and the sealant adhesives were considered. Those adhesives were exposed to the combined environmental factors consisting of temperature, moisture and ultraviolet over 1000 hours. Adhesive shear test was conducted to evaluate adhesive shear strengths and ATR FT-IR was utilized to investigate chemical structures. According to the results, the adhesive shear strengths of the alternative adhesives revealed higher than those of the established adhesives. Also the alternative adhesives were more stable to the combined environmental condition than the established adhesives. Therefore, it is found that the established adhesives were able to be replaced by the alternative adhesives.
염수환경에 노출된 철도차량용 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재의 내구성 평가

The durability of carbon/epoxy composites under salt water environment was investigated through salt water spray tester. Salt water environment was obtained through salt spray and salt immersion. 5% NaCl solution was used for salt water as natural salt water. Mechanical test was performed to obtain tensile properties, flexural properties, and shear properties of carbon/epoxy composite over 12 months under salt water environment. Dynamic mechanical analyzer was used to investigate thermal analysis properties such storage modulus, loss modulus, and tan δ. Also FT/IR test was conducted to investigate a change in chemical structure. According to the results, mechanical properties were found to be slowly degraded as a function of exposure times. Regarding to thermal analysis properties, storage modulus was insensitive to exposure times, but loss modulus was shown to be slightly decreased. Although the shape and location of peak in FT/IR were not much changed, the intensity of peak in FT/IR was affected on exposure times. We also found that salt water immersion was more severe to the durability of carbon/epoxy composite rather than salt water spray.

The effect of diacylglycerol on glucose release was studied by using 1,2-dioctanoyl- sn-glycerol (diC8), a cell permeable diacylglycerol, in perfused rat liver. The glucose release was increased by diC8(50 mcM), and the effect was depended on calcium ions. The increment of glucose release by diC8(50 mcM) was inhibited by indomethacin (50 mcM); the amount of glucose release was almost the same with that of control group. Arachidonic acid(200 mcM) also increased glucose release and the release was inhibited by indomethacin. There was no synergistic effect on glucose release by the combination of diC8(50 mcM) and phenylephrine(10 mcM).
멀티미디어 기법을 이용한 의학교육자료의 제작 및 재생 시스템

Medical education and research require various forms of information, which form multimedia data. While traditional computer can only deal with numeric and coded data, modern computer technology enabl es intergrated management of multimedia data. The present system was designed to perform convenient, acquisition, processing and analysis, and efficient presentation of medical multimedia data. APC-486 DX2 system epuipped with 8MB DRAM and 250 MB HDD provided fast enough computation speed, and image quality guaranteed by 17-inch SVGA color monitor. Both sound and image data are simultaneously acquired through a condenser microphone and audiocard, and respectively, in a video signal format. Printed pictures are digitized by a color scanner. Data transmission is also possible through a local area network (LAN). Acquired media data are structured in a hierarchy with the image data as apex. A variety of image processing and analysis algorithms were implemented and the media data can be reproduced simultaneously. Furthermore, simple and dynamic image animation can be performed to enhance data editing and authoring capability. Selected data sets can be reproduced in a user defined sequence, enabling multimedia slide presentation . User interface was made in Windows format and all application programs were written in Borland C++ for future flexibility and extension. The present system will be of convenient use to acquire, manage, and present multimedia data for medical education and research.
