차량 배기관용 V-Insert 클램프의 체결 성능 평가

In this study, the mechanical joint performance of the V-Insert clamp applied to automobile exhaust pipes was evaluated through the experimental investigation of its axial load capacity. The axial load of the V-Insert clamp was also determined by using theoretical equations presented by Shoghi and compared with the experimental results. As results of the theoretical prediction, the axial load of the V-Insert clamp tended to increase along with smaller angle of the V-Insert segment and the lower friction coefficient between the V-Insert segment and exhaust pipes. The experimental results under tightening effects were similar to the theoretical results and the axial load of the V-Insert clamp presented maximum values in the range of all torques at distance of 2㎜ between each exhaust pipes. The experimental results under loading effects were similar to the theoretical results in the range of lower torques but deviated from the theoretical results in the range of higher torques. These results would be beneficial to improve the joint and sealing performance of the V-Insert clamp.
복합적 환경인자의 영향에 의한 접착제의 접착전단강도 및 화학구조 변화

본 연구에서는 유도무기의 탐색기에 적용되는 기존 접착제의 대체 가능성을 조사하기 위해 환경인자의 노출시간에 따른 기존 접착제와 대체 접착제의 접착전단강도들을 평가하고 이들의 화학구조 변화를 조사하였다. 이때 접착제는 기존 접착제와 대체 접착제에 대해 각각 구조용 접착제와 실링용 접착제의 두 종류를 고려하였다. 이들 접착제는 온도, 수분, 자외선 등의 복합적인 환경인자에 최대 1000시간 동안 노출시켰다. 환경인자의 노출시간에 따른 접착제의 접착전단강도를 평가하기 위해 접착전단시험을 수행하고 화학구조 변화를 조사하기 위해 ATR 적외선 분광분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 대체 접착제의 접착전단강도는 기존 접착제의 경우에 비해 높으며 환경인자의 노출에도 매우 안정적으로 나타나 대체 접착제는 기존 접착제의 대체용으로 적용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. Adhesive shear strengths of the established adhesives and the alternative adhesives were evaluated and their chemical structures were analyzed in order to investigate the possibility of replacing the established adhesives with the alternative adhesives applicable to the seeker for the guided missiles. Two types of the adhesives such as the structural adhesives and the sealant adhesives were considered. Those adhesives were exposed to the combined environmental factors consisting of temperature, moisture and ultraviolet over 1000 hours. Adhesive shear test was conducted to evaluate adhesive shear strengths and ATR FT-IR was utilized to investigate chemical structures. According to the results, the adhesive shear strengths of the alternative adhesives revealed higher than those of the established adhesives. Also the alternative adhesives were more stable to the combined environmental condition than the established adhesives. Therefore, it is found that the established adhesives were able to be replaced by the alternative adhesives.
만성 허리 통증 노인의 오스웨스트리 장애지수, 버그 균형 척도, 보행 시 운동학적 움직임과의 상관관계

PURPOSE: Chronic low back pain is one of the main factors that affect the quality of life and cause problems of gait and balance in elderly people. This study investigated the correlation between the Oswestry disability index (ODI), Berg balance scale (BBS), and kinematic data measured while analyzing the gait of elderly people with chronic back pain. METHODS: A total of 29 subjects participated in this study. The ODI, BBS, and kinematic data of lower extremities were measured while walking. All data were analyzed using Pearson`s correlation coefficients and the significance was measured at .05. RESULTS: ODI had a significant correlation with 1, 13, and 14 items of BBS (p < .05), and left hip external rotation and right ankle abduction respectively in the stance and swing phase of gait (p < .01). 13 items of BBS had a significant correlation with the right ankle abduction in the stance phase of gait (p < .01). In addition, 14 items of BBS had a significant correlation with right and left ankle abduction in the stance and swing phase of gait (p < .01). CONCLUSION: While attempting to predict chronic low back pain and balance issues, it may be useful to check the right ankle abduction in the stance and swing phase of gait. In the future, it would be helpful if some simple tests could be designed to assess balance in elderly people with chronic low back pain.

본 논문에서는 디스크 권선과 레이어 권선의 장점을 가지는 연속디스크 권선의 변압기 적용가능성을 확인하기 위하여 전위된 병렬선재를 이용하여 연속 디스크 권선을 제작하였다. 제작된 연속 디스크 권선의 임계전류 및 교류손실 측정을 통하여 실제 변압기 권선방법으로의 적용 가능성을 확인 하였다. 또한 33 MVA 초전도 변압기의 고압측에 사용될 권선 형태를 레이어 권선, 연속 디스크 권선을 적용하였을 경우 발생하는 손실을 계산하였다.

중국 서쪽 신장성 위그르자치구에 거주하는 위그르인을 대상으로 하여 그들의 체질인류학적 특질을 알아 보고자 하는 연구의 일환으로 눈과 코를 중심으로 한 계측자료를 구하였다. 대상인원은 서부지역에 거주하는 18세 이상의 남자 120명, 여자 94명과 동부지역에 거주하는 18세 이상의 남자 182명, 여자66명이 있으며 계측항목은 눈을 중심으로 한 9가지, 코를 중심으로 한 4가지로 모두 13가지 였다. 실제 계측은 표준화된 방법으로 촬영한 전면, 왼쪽측면 및 왼쪽45˚ 경사면 사진을 대상으로 image analyzer를 이용하여 시행하였다. 계측치는 남녀를 공히 동쪽 및 서쪽으로 나누어 비교하였다. 또한 이들의 자료를 기존의 한국인 자료와 비교하여 보았다. 남자의 경우 동쪽은 서쪽에 비하여 코너비가 넓었으며 검은자직경이 컸다. 또한 눈꺼풀틈새의 경사도가 약간 올라가고 눈꼬리 사이거리가 긴 경향을 보였다. 한편 여자의 경우에는 동쪽여자가 서쪽에 비해 눈구석사이거리가 매우 유의하게 길었으며 반대로 눈꺼풀 틈새 길이는 잛았다. 눈꼬리가 치켜 올라간 것이 또 하나의 특징이 였으며 검은자직경 역시 남자에서와 마찬가지로 동쪽여자에서 컸다. 한국인의 기존자료와 비교하여 보았을 때 대다수 항목의 측정값은 남녀 모두에서 서쪽보다는 동쪽에 거주하는 위그리인의 수치가 한국인에 가까웠다.
의학전문대학원생의 임상추론 능력 파악을 위한 수정간이구조화관찰법의 효과

Purpose: The brief-structured observation (BSO) is the teaching method during clerkship. To assess the usefulness of BSO in clerkship, the survey of faculties for reflecting medical students’ reasoning process was assessed. Methods: The modified BSO was introduced to clinical curriculum at Department of Pediatrics, Gyeongsang National University Medical School since 2011. A total of 71 third-year students were divided into 8 groups and conducted for 5 weeks each for a total of 40 weeks (64 BSOs in a year). The questionnaire was admitted to all faculties to assess their view on, satisfaction, and self-conception comparing with other educational methods. And the correlation of scores of BSO, bedside oral test, clinical performance examination and final exams were analyzed. Results: In all, 4 faculties agreed that the modified BSO is more helpful to assess the students’ clinical reasoning compared to other bed-side teaching, 5 faculties agreed that it is useful to evaluate the communication skills, and 6 faculties agreed that it is useful tool for feedback to peers. The question about comparing with the real patient, 5 faculties agreed that it was not bad using student as a standardized patient. There were present mild to moderate correlation between BSO score and Bed side oral test (R=0.268, P=0.02), BSO and clinical performance examination (R=0.525, P<0.001). All faculties thought that BSO is feedback method despite it has several disadvantages. Conclusion: The modified BSO might be a useful tool to assess the students’ clinical communication skills and clinical reasoning and helpful feedback tool for peers.

High temperature superconducting (HTS) windings for an HTS transformer which have been developed have two kinds of type, one is the layer winding and the other is disk winding. The layer winding has adopted for an HTS power transformer so far because of the small AC losses of the HTS windings. The disk windings have advantages over the layer ones for a power transformer such as good insulation and limit of voltage stress. But this kind of HTS winding generates excessive AC losses caused by strong magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the HTS wire. We propose a new winding method for a high voltage HTS transformer which has advantages of both type of HTS windings, and we call it continuous disk winding. This new HTS winding consists of pile of HTS disk windings. The continuous disk winding was fabricated with multi-stacked HTS wires for power HTS transformer. We can check the potential possibility from the characteristic test of the fabricated winding. The new type HTS windings can be applied to HTS power transformers, especially to the high voltage ones.
