        낙상 경험 유무에 따른 노인 여성의 허리와 무릎관절 근력 비교 연구

        Background: This study was conducted in order to see if muscle strength is different according to fall experience in female elders by comparing their muscle strength of waist and knee, which is one of factors inducing fall. Method: For this study, 22 female elders aged over 65 sampled from senior centers in D City were surveyed on their fall experiences using a questionnaire asking clinical history. Then, 8 elders with fall experience (FE) and another 8 without (NFE) were selected and participated in the research. Isokinetic muscle strength was measured with isokinetic equipment BIODEX SYSTEM 3 PRO, and the peak torque was obtained from the highest of 9 measurements at angular velocity $60^{\circ}/sec$ according to the method recommended in the manual. Measured items were waist flexion and extension, and knee flexion and extension. Results: The FE group showed higher extensor and flexor muscle strength of the waist, but the difference was not significant (p<.05). In addition, no difference was observed in extensor muscle strength of the knee (p<.05). In flexor muscle strength, however, the FE group was significantly higher than the NFE group (p<.05). Conclusion: The application of regular exercise programs for improving muscle strength, endurance, etc. to those with fall experience will be effective in preventing falls among them.

        순환전압전류법을 이용한 수중 생물막 측정 전기화학센서

        Biofouling causes many problem in industrial processes, medical health industries, water utilities and our daily life, So detecting formation of biofilm on the surface of medical appliance, water pipe and industrial utility is highly important to prevent the problem caused by biofouling, In this study, we suggest an electrochemical sensor for detecting biofilm, We fabricated the electrochemical sensor in MEMS process and cultivated two different kinds of Pseudomonas aeruginosa RpoN type and Wild type on the surface of electrochemical sensor. Each group of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was cultivated according to the hours of 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24. Then we investigated changes in degree of biofilm cultivation using cyclic voltammetry. As a result, it was observed that peak of the cyclic voltammetry curve is increased according as the biofilm growth on the surface of electrochemical sensor. Also we can discern between Pseudomonas aeruginosa RpoN type and Wild type.

        요부안정화운동이 여성 노인의 요부 및 하지 근력에 미치는 영향

        Objective:This study aims to examine how lumbar stabilization exercise and resistive exercise affect lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength of the aged. Method:Randomly selected 15 female senior citizens aged 65 or older at S, Y, and J senior citizens` center located in D city who meet the requirements for the study were divided into a resistive exercise group of 7 and a stabilization exercise group of 8 for which 60-minute-exercise sessions were administered three times a week for 12 weeks. Measuring lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength was measured six weeks and 12 weeks after exercise, respectively. Results:First, both resistive exercises and stabilization exercises are effective to improve lumbar muscular strength. Second, resistive exercise is effective to improve flexural muscle strength as well as lower extremity muscular strength, and stabilization exercise is effective for both flexion and extensor muscle strength. Conclusion:The 12 week lumbar stabilization exercise program appeared to be effective to improve lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength of the aged. This indicates that applying this program to identify and prevent frequent risk factors of falling can lead to the prevention of secondary problem factors of falling accidents.

        요부근의 운동유형에 따른 상ㆍ하지 등속성 근기능에 미치는 효과

        This study was aimed to examine the necessity of researches for resistance exercise and lumbar stabilization exercise as a way to lead to the improvement of exercise performance in actual sports fields and the effects of arm & leg isokinetic muscular functions caused by lumbar exercise type. For the development and application of more varied training methods, this study randomly selected 14 male adults in their twenties each 7 per group residing in D City and resistance exercise and stabilization exercise were conducted for control group and experimental group, respectively. The participants were asked to do exercise for 50 minutes an hour after their meals three times a week for 8 weeks in the exercise center of B Hospital in D City. An arm & leg iso-kinetic muscular function test was conducted before exercise, after 4 weeks and after 8 weeks. As for data treatment, a two-way repeated measure ANOVA was conducted for the analysis of the differences among groups and time periods. In case that there were significant differences among the types of exercises by period, the independent sample t-test as a post-hoc test and the contrast test after the one-way repeated measure ANOVA as a test among the periods by exercise types were conducted. After conducting the researches, the following results have been found. lumbar stabilization exercise groups had a positive effect on the improvement of arm & leg muscular functions, the arm & leg power functions, arm & leg muscular endurance test.

        네발기기 자세에서 어깨뼈 내밈 운동시 다리들기에 따른 앞톱니근과 위등세모근의 근활성도 비교

        Background: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of leg lift difference on the serratus anterior muscle and the upper trapezius muscle when a subject with winged scapula performs a scapula protraction exercise in a four-leg crawling posture. Method: Twenty normal adults and 20 subjects with winged scapula participated in the experiment. Surface EMG recordings were collected from serratus anterior muscle and back trapezius muscle during scapula protraction exercises. Scapular winging is measured with the lifting distance of scapula retraction to the back using an electronic digital caliper. In two groups of four-leg crawling posture, the two legs support, the dominant leg lifting, and the non-dominant leg lifting, including the scapula protraction, were performed. To examine the difference between groups in the variance analysis, the Bonferroni correction was used (significance level ${\alpha}=.017$). Statistical significance level ${\alpha}$ was .05. Results: There was a significant difference in serratus anterior muscle and upper trapezius muscle during push-up plus exercise in leg lifting in four-leg crawling posture, but there were no significant differences in muscle activity between serratus anterior muscle and upper trapezius muscle, and there was no significant difference according to the presence or absence of scapular winging. Conclusion: For the shoulder stability of the ipsilateral side with the serratus anterior muscle, the leg-lifting posture is effective in the four-leg crawling, and also when a subject with winged scapula chooses an exercise, lifting the ipsilateral side of leg with scapula protraction exercises at the same time may have a positive effect on scapula dysfunction.

        엎드린 교각운동 자세에서 견갑골 전인 운동 시 익상 유무에 따른 다리 들기 차이가 체간근의 근 활성도에 미치는 영향

        Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of leg lift difference on serratus and upper trapezius when exercising in a scapula in a prone position, a typical waist stabilization exercise for subjects with a winged scapula. Method: Twenty normal adults and 20 subjects with winged scapula participated in the experiment. The surface EMG recordings were obtained from external oblique muscle and internal oblique muscle during scapula protraction exercise. The presence or absence of winging of the shoulder bone was measured using an electronic digital caliper for the distance the medial border of the scapula is lifted to the rear. In prostrate pier movement posture in both groups, both legs supporting, dominant leg lifting, and non-dominant leg lifting including the scapula protraction were conducted respectively. Results: In the results of comparison between the two groups, the dominant external oblique muscle and the non-dominant internal oblique muscle tended to increase according to the difference of the leg lifting of normal people. In the winged scapula group, internal oblique muscle showed increased muscle activity more than external oblique muscle. Conclusion: It was most effective to exercise with lifting the same position leg for strengthening the same external oblique muscle, and the opposite internal oblique muscle. Also, it is effective to exercise in prone pier movement posture for trunk stability. In addition, internal oblique muscle shows increased muscle activity in subjects with winged scapula. Therefore, appropriate adjustment of external oblique muscle and internal oblique muscle may have a positive effect on scapula dysfunction for trunk stability.

        십자인대재건술 전과 후의 무릎신전근육에 대한 등속성 근력 비교

        Background: The purpose of this study is to compare and analysis the changes in strength and endurance of the knee extensor muscles after Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods: Twelve male subjects with ligament injury were seated on Biodex and the hip joint was flexed at 110°, and torso, lower extremities, and legs were fixed using Velcro. The resistance device was placed at a point 3cm above the ankle, and measurements were taken before and a surgery at 60°/sec and 180°/sec when the knee was maximally extended. The postures ingeniously combine forward-bending poses countered with backward-bending ones. Results: There was no significant difference in the comparison of muscle strength of 60°/sec and 180°/sec before surgery. But there was a significant difference after surgery. There was significant difference in muscle endurance both before and after surgery. There was a significant difference in the pre- and post- operative comparison values of muscle strength and endurance in isokinetic movements at 60°/sec and 180°/sec during knee extension on the injured side. Conclusion: For cruciate ligament tears, Orthopedic reconstruction is recommended. Correct alignment of the knee ligament after surgery can enhance the strength and endurance of the quadriceps femoris during knee extension rejuvenated.

        미세금형 가공을 위한 전기화학식각 공정의 유한요소 해석 및 실험결과 비교

        To fabricate a precise micro metal mold, the electrochemical etching process has been researched. We investigated the electrochemical etching process numerically and experimentally to determine the etching tendency of the process, focusing on the current density, which is a major parameter of the process. The finite element method, a kind of numerical analysis, was used to determine the current density distribution on the workpiece. Stainless steel(SS304) substrate with various sized square and circular array patterns as an anode and copper(Cu) plate as a cathode were used for the electrochemical experiments. A mixture of $H_2SO_4$, $H_3PO_4$, and DIW was used as an electrolyte. In this paper, comparison of the results from the experiment and the numerical simulation is presented, including the current density distribution and line profile from the simulation, and the etching profile and surface morphology from the experiment. Etching profile and surface morphology were characterized using a 3D-profiler and FE-SEM measurement. From a comparison of the data, it was confirmed that the current density distribution and the line profile of the simulation were similar to the surface morphology and the etching profile of the experiment, respectively. The current density is more concentrated at the vertex of the square pattern and circumference of the circular pattern. And, the depth of the etched area is proportional to the current density.

      • 자동노출조절을 이용한 흉부 X-ray 검사시, air gap 에 따른 선량과 화질의 평가

        목 적:자동노출조절을 사용한 디지털 흉부 검사에서 환자 상태로 인해 흉부를 detector 에 완전히 밀착시키지 못하여 발생한 air gap이 환자 피폭선량과 화질에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법:흉부 X-ray 장비는 GE 사의 Definium 8000을 사용하였으며, 선량측정을 위해 rando phantom과 광학 유리 선량계를 사용하였다. 흡수선량 측정을 위해 Rando phantom lung-14 부분에 유리 선량계를 좌우 각각 2개씩 삽입하였고, 입사표면선량을 측정하기 위해 phantom 후면 T6 레벨의 양쪽 폐부분에 유리 선량계를 각각 2개씩 부착하였다. 검사조건 100 kVp, 320 mA, FFD 180 cm로 자동노출조절기능을 적용하여 20회 촬영하였고, 같은 방법으로 detector와 phantom의 air gap 거리를 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm로 하여 선량을 측정하였으며 grid 적용 시와 미 적용시의 선량 변화도 함께 비교하였다. 화질평가는 DUKE phantom으로 선량 측정시와 같은 air gap 거리의 촬영방법으로 이미지를 획득하여 정성적 평가, 정량적 평가를 하였다. 결 과: 1. 선량평가에 있어 grid 사용 시와 non grid 경우 모두 air gap 거리가 커질수록 선량이 증가하였으며 grid 사용 시 non grid 보다 높은 선량 값을 나타냈다(p<0.05). 2. DUKE phantom을 이용한 정성적 평가에서는 air gap 상태에서 non grid 시 grid 사용시 보다 폐부분에 위치한 contrast detail test pattern 의 구리원반의 개수가 증가 하였으며, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 그러나 폐부분에 위치한 line pair test pattern의 납박의 개수와 심장 부분에 위치한 contrast detail test pattern의 구리원반의 개수는 grid 유무에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 3. 정량적 평가는 air gap 의 거리가 증가할수록 grid의 사용유무와 관계없이 SNR 값이 감소하였으며, grid 사용 여부에 따른 SNR의 측정값은 air gap technique (non grid)을 사용할 때 평균 7.12 % 높은 값으로 측정되었다. 마지막으로 각각의 air gap 거리에 따른 grid사용 시와 non grid 시의 SNR과 CNR값은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 결 론:자동노출조절기능 사용 시 흉부 검사 에서 환자가 부득이 하게 detector에 밀착 불가능한 경우, grid를 제거하여 검사하면 선량을 줄이는 동시에 질 높은 영상을 획득 할 수 있으리라 사료된다. Purpose:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change of dose and image quality in the air gap occurring when automatic exposure control was not fully attached a chest to the detector in the digital chest examination. Materials and Methods:Using Definium 8000 by GE s, and the rando phantom and the optical glass dosimeter have used for dose measurements. Each two glass dosimeters were inserted into the Rando phantom lung-14 portion from side to side to measure the absorbed dose, and attached to both lung parts of the phantom back side T6 level to measure surface dose. It was exposured 20 times applied automatic exposure control by 100 kVp, 320 mA, FFD 180 cm base and measured dose at 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm from the distance between detector and phantom in the same ways and compared the changes of dose with and without the grid. The image quality was assessed by qualitative and quantitative in same method by duke phantom. Result:1. Dose was increased when having a larger air gap both in whether using grid or not, and showed higher dose than non-grid when using grid. 2. Qualitative evaluation using DUKE phantom showed that the number of copper disc of contrast detail test pattern to lung were increased in the non-grid than in the grid and there was statistically meaningful differences (p<0.05). but regardless of using the gird, the number of lead leaf of line pair test pattern to lung and copper disc of contrast detail test pattern to heart were not statistically meaningful differences (p<0.05). 3. In the quantitative evaluation, as air gap increased, the SNR value decreased disc both regardless of using the grid and the SNR measured to be 7.12% higher on average with the air gap technique. Finally there was statistically meaningful difference between SNR and CNR values each distance, grid and nongrid(p<0.05). Conclusion:As automatic exposure control, if the patient can t adhere to the detector during the chest examination, remove the grid, it is considered that will reduce the dose and obtain excellent images.
