In this paper, .the DADS track module for dynamics analysis of tracked vehicles is developed. The module is based on soil mechanics, multibody dynamics and contact theory. The developed module is combined into multibody dynamics analysis program DADS using user-defined subroutines. The combined program is more general and reliable than other programs for tracked vehicles.
The analysis of a full vehicle with active suspension designed with LQG/LTR method is ca rried out to study the performance of active suspension. For this study a model for a full vehicle is modeled and its reliability is confirmed by quasi-static analysis. Sensors ,actu ators. LQG/LTR logic are added to the full vehicle model then with the 'analysis results of the full vehicle, we confirmed the performance of active suspension when the designed contr oller is used for active suspension.
Described in this paper are the dynamic model and the dynamic performance of catenary-pantograph system for TGV-K(maximum operating speed of 300㎞/hr). Dynamic simulations showed that the system satisfies the performance criteria such as contact loss ratio, contact force and lift-off of the contact wire. It is also shown by the simulations that the dynamic behavior and contact performance of the system at the operating speed of 350 ㎞/hr are found unacceptable. Design parameters of the catenary-pantograph system should be optimized for the speed-up of the TGV-K.

light rail vehicle is modeled as a 2 d. o. f linear system for the design of vertical suspension characteristics and a 4 d.o. f linear system for the design of lateral suspension characteristics. FRA"s class-5-track irregularity is used for the exciting disturbance on track. Suspension stiffness and damping is selected on the basis of the ride quality and suspension stroke trade-off for the bogie of light rail vehicle. The optimum value of primary and secondary suspension characteristics is determined. And the stability of full vehicle model for the LRV is analyzed using the VAMPIRE program and critical speed is determined.

An integrated guidance scheme for guided weapon system is described in this paper. Against conventional guidance methods, this method combines an autopilot and a guidance law. The controller is designed using LQ regulator whose performace index is different from other optimal guidance laws. Since dynamics of the system is considered in the derivation, the controller performance is improved. By simulation, the suggested method shows better performance in minimum distance sense than conventional guidance schemes such as Bang Bang guidance or Pursuit guidance. Since the suggested method provides smooth rudder deflection in contrast to the conventional method, the load on a energy source of the system can be greatly lessened.
