Purpose: In this study, an automatic performance tester (APT) was developed for an auxiliary power unit (APU) applied to self-propelled artillery, and the precision and stability of the APT were evaluated using measurement system analysis (MSA). Methods: The APT was developed as a package system comprising indicators, control devices, and a remote-control panel. Gage R&R analysis was conducted on the measurements of the rated voltage, output current, engine revolutions, and recovery time. In addition, to calibrate the APT, the data from the APT were compared with those from general-purpose measurement devices. Results: The percentage R&R values of the rated voltage, engine speed, and recovery time were less than 10 (i.e., acceptable) and that of the output current was 14.34 (i.e., conditionally acceptable). The differences in the measured values between the APT and general-purpose measurement devices were within 10% of the tolerance, so the APT calibration was considered to be acceptable. Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to provide some preliminary data for the development of APT measurement standards for self-propelled artillery APUs with defense-quality standards.

For seismic design for high-rise buildings and special structures, linear or nonlinear response history analysis (RHA) have been used for estimating accurate seismic demands of structures. In order to obtain satisfactory analysis results, proper selection of input ground motions are very important. Current seismic design provisions require a set of multiple ground motions rather than a single ground motion. Several studies reported that Trial-and-error procedure did not provide accurate and consistent selection results. Several procedures were proposed to select ground motions which have the mean and variance of their response spectra matching target response spectrum mean and variance. This study considers correlation structure with mean and variance of target response spectrum for selecting ground motions. The effect of correlation structure on seismic demand on structures is evaluated. NGA data base is used to construct ground motion library and 20-story steel moment frame is considered as model frame. This study showed that the effect of correlation structure on the seismic demands of the structure can not be neglected when selecting ground motions.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate of seismic design code criteria for ground motions selection to conduct three dimensional time history analysis. To evaluate ASCE 7-16 criteria, several nonlinear time history analyses of 3-story steel moment structures with regularities or torsional irregularities. The ground motions used in this study was selected by proposed procedure from a companion paper. In this paper, the results show that one can predict seismic responses of three dimensional structure within an error of 20% using more than 10 ground motions. However, if less than 7 ground motions are used, the responses may be overestimated.

To obtain reliable results for time history analysis of structure under earthquake loads, it is required to selecting proper input ground motions and constructing numerical model for the structure. Especially, for high-rise or irregular building, structural engineers should conduct three dimensional dynamic analysis. The purpose of this study was to evaluate of seismic design criteria for selecting ground motions to conducting three dimensional time history analysis of structures. For this purpose, 134 earthquake records which are composed of two horizontal ground motions, respectively, were collected. Then, several three dimensional time history analyses for 3, 9-story steel moment resisting structures with or without irregularities. Input ground motions were selected according to KDS 41 17 00 criteria for design ground motions using proposed method from a companion paper. The results show that one can predict seismic responses of three dimensional structure within an error of 20% using more than 10 ground motions. However, if less than 7 ground motions are used, the responses may be overestimated.

Dynamic analyses such as response spectrum analysis or time history analysis of structures have been performed to assess the structural demands for earthquake loads. For time history analysis, it is very important to select appropriate input ground motions with construction of numerical models of structures that reflects the non-linearity of the structure. In particular, three-dimensional dynamic analyses are required for skyscrapers or irregular buildings, according to seismic design codes. Current seismic design codes require that two-dimensional time history analysis of a structure should be analyzed using three or more horizontal component ground motions. For three-dimensional analysis, at least three seismic records each consisting of two horizontal components are required. In this study, a method of selecting ground motions for three-dimensional time history analysis of structures was developed in accordance with the criteria of seismic design code. In the method, the square roots of sum of squares for selected response spectra are very similar to the shape and size of the design spectrum. Also, the algorithm is simple, so takes a few seconds for selecting input ground motions. The proposed method is applicable to all target spectra which has only mean spectrum, such as design spectrum, uniform hazard spectrum or conditional spectrum.

The purpose of this study was to develop a proper method of selecting horizontal ground motions sets to conduct three dimensional dynamic analysis of structures. It is important to select proper ground motions for obtaining an accurate results from time history analysis of structures with a precise structure analysis model. In the developed procedure, selected ground motions are matched well with target mean response spectrum and satisfies the current seismic design codes. Also, the method is applicable to all target spectra which have mean response spectrum such as uniform hazard spectrum.

컴퓨터 통신망의 발달로 인해 인터넷은 국가와 사회의 중요한 정보기반으로 자리잡고 있다. 이에 따른 부작용으로 해킹 사고도 단순 과시형에서 범죄적 동기를 갖는 추세로 가고 있으며 이에 대한 대응 또한 능동적이어야 한다는 요구가 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해킹 사고에 보다 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템의 설계를 소개한다. 이 시스템은 자율성을 갖고, 시스템의 확장, 변경에 대해 탄력적으로 대처할 수 있게 하기 위해서 멀티 에이전트 시스템으로 구성하였다. 본 논문에서는 상위 레벨에서 해킹 대응 시나리오에 따른 각 에이전트의 활용 및 상호 협력 관계에 대해서 기술한다.
