수생태계 건강성 통합정보 분석을 위한 GIS DB 구축 및 활용에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to build a GIS database that can utilized to provide a multi-dimensional analysis of aquatic health ecosystem. Especially, it was to build a GIS database for comprehensive analysis using the aquatic ecosystem health. So we collected data on aquatic ecosystem health assessment, Korea Reach File(KRF), Stream Naturalness and Water Environmental Information System, and detailed analysis of the collected data was performed. In addition, the core objects were extracted from individual data and a related entity was derived by pulling out the items associated with thematic characteristics and classifying them. The establishment of GIS database makes it possible to support the decision making for the user to quickly understand the information of water environment. Therefore, the database will provide the information for the effective management on water environment.
한강 및 낙동강 수계 주요 하천을 중심으로 어류를 이용한 수생태 건강성 평가

The present study was carried out to develop biological criteria for aquatic ecosystem health assessment using composition and diversity of collected species. The sampling sites were a total of 67 sites in the Han River (29 sites) and the Nakdong River (38 sites), May and September 2012. During the survey period fish were collected totally 93 species. In each water system, 73 and 61 species were collected in the Han River and the Nakdong River respectively. The current composition of fish species between the Han River and Nakdong River showed similar pattern. The dominant species was Zacco platypus of the Han River, and the Nakdong River was Opsariichthys uncirostris. In particular, ecological characteristics of O. uncirostris frequently appeared in general polluted waters. In conclusion, in the Nakdong River, average value of FAI (Fish Assessment Index) was averaged 41.3, indicating a “poor condition”, and the Han River was 53.1, indicating a “poor condition”. The aquatic health of the Nakdong River assessed based on FAI was considered to be worse than that of the Han River.
기후변화에 따른 대청호 추동지점에서의 남조류 발생 패턴 분석

To study the fluctuations and relationship in climate change, environmental factors and cyanobacteria communities, we investigated Chudong station of the Daechung reservoir. The average annual temperature showed the maximum value (13.9°C) from 1994, showed a gradually increasing pattern from 1969 to 2010 in the Daechung reservoir. The number of days with temperatures over 20°C, minimum temperature of the year and average temperature of the winter season patterns also showed a significant increase. The long-time changed in the annual precipitation were not showed a significant variation. The water temperature record comparatively high value in summer, declined in winter. At all period, the phytoplankton were highest biomass in July 2000, and then, showed comparative higher biomass in the summer months. Cyanobacteria taxa were also showed more than 50%. Emergence of cyanobacteria also appeared in November 2007, were prolonged emergence. The dominant genera of taxa were the dominant sphere (Microcystis spp.) until early 2000. After that, the dominant species were the dominant linear (Aphanizomenon spp., Anabaena spp.). Cyanobacteria were the most correlated with water temperature (r= 0.341, p<0.01) and phosphate concentration (r = 0.355, p<0.01).

This study aims to find out critical areas of a soil loss and propose feasible measures to reduce the water quality deterioration by a soil lose. As a study area, the So-ok stream catchment locating at the upper area of Daecheong Reservoir is selected and intensive field observation was carried out. RUSLE model is applied to assess the impact of the pollution migration by a soil ross from the critical areas during storms on the water quality of Chusori embayment. As results, total amount of the soil ross assessed against to the critical area on which major type of land use is a orchard for fruits is 54.3 ton/ha/yr and that of an abandoned mine site is about 200 ton/ha/year. In particular as effective measures, a plantation of an appropriate species of fruit trees and an application of ecologic restoration schemes are proposed against to the orchard and the abandoned mine site, respectively.
