Zero Deep Curve 추정방식을 이용한 저조도에 강인한 비디오 개선 방법

Recently, object recognition using image/video signals is rapidly spreading on autonomous driving and mobile phones. However, the actual input image/video signals are easily exposed to a poor illuminance environment. A recent researches for improving illumination enable to estimate and compensate the illumination parameters. In this study, we propose VE-DCE (video enhancement zero-reference deep curve estimation) to improve the illumination of low-light images. The proposed VE-DCE uses unsupervised learning-based zero-reference deep curve, which is one of the latest among learning based estimation techniques. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve the quality of low-light video as well as images compared to the previous method. In addition, it can reduce the computational complexity with respect to the existing method.

Sub-station, key equipment in electric power infrastructure, are being exposed to increasing risk of hacking. For this, soft redundancy sub-station system needs to be formulated with automatic restoration mechanism. For this it is important to assess the reliability of the applicable range of data that are used in actual system operation, as well as the methods and findings of the tests. At the same time performance of soft redundancy system and total security mechanism, which are aligned for the protection of the sub-station, need to be tested. For testing the above-mentioned, this paper presented a viable formation of a soft redundancy practical VPN system within a panel to protect the latter from hacking or cracking incidences, and conducts a test to check if the considered system actually serves the protection function in the actual operation setting, gathering evidence from the data from the testing of the actual performance of the system as well as of emergency scenario simulation operations. Because tested soft-redundancy & restorative sub-station system is expected to be widely applicable for various cases such as Smart-grid or electricity IT system, where VPN with enhanced level of security is required.

The industrial CT (computed tomograph) is a device that can inspect and measure industrial parts without cracking it. It this works, we have built high resolution 3D X-ray CT system. Also,, we developed some preliminary 3-dimensional volume data processing algorithm for detecting features in 3-D volume data. The feature detection algorithms which are typically employed in 2-D image processing are extended for the 3-D volume data.
병렬연산 기반 산업용 X-선 computed tomography

본 연구에서는 산업용 부품을 X-선을 투과하는 비파괴 검사의 산업에서 최근에 개발된 computed tomography 장비의 데이터를 고속 병렬처리 연산을 통하여 효과적으로 처리하는 기법에 대해서 다룬다. 본 장비에서 출력된 3D CT raw 데이터는 매우 방대한 크기의 데이터로서 이를 일반적인 프로세서로 처리하기에는 너무 큰 부담이 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 CT 데이터를 일반 PC로 전달받아 이를 고속 처리할 수 있는 플랫폼을 구축하고, 비교적 적은 비용으로 CT 데이터의 처리를 통하여 3차원 CT 데이터의 각종 유용한 정보를 도출할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 실험에 사용된 주요한 전략은 잘 알려진 연산 툴인 Matlab이 다중 연산장치인 GPU를 지원하는데 착안 한 것이다. 특히 본 연구에서는 연산량이 방대한 voxel (volume elemment) 기반의 특징 추출 알고리듬과 같이 복잡하고 방대한 연산을 GPU 기반 프로세서에서 처리함으로써, 고가의 전용 소프트웨어에서 하던 전문 기능을 저가의 하드웨어 기반에서 실행할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 산업체에서 x-선 단층촬영 장비를 좀 더 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 기반을 구축하였다. In this research, some novel parallel processing schemes are implemented for the 3D X-ray industrial CT (computed tomography) which is used to inspect the internal areas of industrial parts without any destruction of the part itself. The data extracted from the CT has much big size so that it spends too much time to process in the general purpose PC environments. Thus, in this research, some novel parallel processing platforms are exploited for the voxel data transfered from the CT with relatively cheap computing environments, which results some meaningful information extraction through voxel data processing. Recently, Matlab and some GPU makers has released much useful tools for the parallel processing applications such as the raw CT data processing. Moreover, high performance GPU processors with relatively low cost products are available nowadays, so we can implement low cost high performance parallel computing machine for the CT data processing. From the research results, many parts manufactueres can use the CT machine more easily than before.
방사선 조사 시 혈구 및 장점막에 대한 흑마늘 추출물의 보호효과

교육, 의료, 산업분야에서 다양하게 이용되고 있는 방사선은 전신 피폭시 다양한 부작용을 야기한다. 이에 흑마늘 추출물을 이용하여 방사선 피폭으로 발생되는 부작용을 저감화 시키는 방사선방호효과를 확인하였다. 흑마늘추출물을 Sprague Dawley Rat에 일정기간 투여한 후 7, 13 Gy의 X-ray를 조사하여 혈구성분 및 소장조직을 비교 관찰하였다. 실험결과 흑마늘 추출물을 투여한 실험군에서 대조군에 비해 초기 백혈구(p<0.05) 및 적혈구(p<0.05), 혈소판(p<0.05)의 손상이 감소되었으며 소장움이 대조군에 비하여 유의성 있는 생존을 확인하였고 소장 융모의 길이는 정상군에 가깝게 남아있는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 흑마늘 추출물이 방사선 피폭으로 인한 세포 손상을 줄여주어 방사선방호제로써의 역할을 할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. The radiation has been utilized in a number of fields, even though the use of plenty cause a variety of side effects. This study was confirmed for radiation protective effects of aged garlic to contribute to the prevention of disasters that are radiation exposure. We studied the Complete Blood cell Count(CBC) and the small intestine after feeding aged garlic extract into Sprague Dawley Rat which irradiated X-ray beam 7 and 13 Gy. Garlic extract was administered to the results in the experimental group showed a notable difference in the CBC of platelets (p<0.05), red blood cells (p<0.05) and early damaged white blood cells (p<0.05). In addition, it was confirmed that experimental group's small intestine crypt is more survival than irradiation group significantly. And experimental group has small intestine villi length almost similar to the normal group. result of the aged garlic study will be able to be of great benefit for the radiation relevant emergency management.
