        Goethite의 합성 및 형상제어

        Goethite, ${\alpha}$-FeOOH have various applications such as absorbent, pigment and source for magnetic materials. Goethite particles were synthesized in a two step process, where $Fe(OH)_2$ were synthesized in nitrogen atmosphere using $FeSO_4$ as a raw material in the first process, and after that acicular goethite particles were obtained in an air oxidation process of $Fe(OH)_2$ in highly alkaline aqueous solution. Their phase and microstructure were investigated with XRD and FE-SEM. It was found that the morphology of goethite and the ratio of length-to-width (aspect ratio) of acicular goethite are dependent on the some factors such as R value ($OH^-/Fe^{2+}$), air flow rate and pH conditions. In particular, R value has the strongest influence on the synthesized goethite morphology. It is considered that the optimal value R is 4.5 because X-ray diffraction peaks of goethite have the highest intensity at that value. Morphology of goethite particles was controlled by air flow rates, showing that their size and aspect ratio are getting smaller and decrease, respectively as air flow rate increases. The largest goethite particle obtained is about 1,500 nm in length and 150 nm in diameter.

        뮤즈, 그 존재의 아이러니 : T. S. 엘리엇-에밀리 헤일 연서

        The influence of Emily Hale on T. S. Eliot’s life and literary works has long been a matter of speculation―until this January. On 2 January 2020, the 1,131 letters from Eliot to Hale were finally unveiled to the public. The letters, written between 1930 and 1956, had remained sealed at Princeton University since 1956, and were much anticipated as both Eliot and Hale had kept silent about their relationship during their lifetimes. While there being a relationship has not been disputed, the extent or depth of their relationship, or whether Hale had ever been Eliot’s muse or not has often been called into question. Eliot’s letters exceeded the wildest of speculations, as they were full of his candid thoughts and emotions, driven by a desire to completely bare himself before Hale. Along with his steadily growing thoughts and feelings toward Hale, Eliot shares his daily life and drafts of his plays and poems, and also points to poems that present his emotions for Hale. These letters leave little question that Hale had indeed been a significant influence on the life and literary works of Eliot. There is a need, however, to rethink what it means to be a muse. Is it appropriate to call a living person a muse that gives inspiration but never speaks? Hale certainly did not remain as a silent, benevolent muse during the 26 years of her correspondence with Eliot, but destroying all of Hale’s letters, Eliot effectively relegates her to the position of a muse. By silencing her thus, Eliot ironically immortalizes Hale as his silent muse whom he calls out to for almost three decades. In Eliot’s poetry, Hale similarly moves from the realm of the temporal to that of the virtual as potential in the lineage of Aristotle. In “Cooking Egg” (1919), which Eliot mentions in his letters to show his initial feelings for Hale, the poet strongly expresses his wish to be united with his lady in a paradoxical manner, but the fleeting moment of joy and happiness remains firmly in the temporal past. In Burnt Norton (1936) written 5 years after the two begin to correspond, Eliot and Hale finally reach the virtual realm of potential together, but Eliot does not allow Hale to cross the threshold of the virtual to actualize a future together. While Hale inspires Eliot to write Burnt Norton, she ironically becomes a muse who loses her voice, confined to the virtual rose garden of Burnt Norton.

        It"s been over 60 years since the Korean war. As time goes on, North and South are changing. The man who experienced Korean war got old or passed away. This generation who have never experienced the war and heard about before are living in this land. They don"t feel the need to unify north and south and they are living under the belief which the peaceful life last forever. However, is it alright to live like this? In this project, Emotions which experienced Korean war and lived hard through the period of recovery give a shape and make a space. Seeing these spaces meditate the past and give a time which understand rightly the present to visitor. Futhermore, The present we face. have an optional alternative plan about future and the space warn the future which not far out of the past.

        HMD 전면카메라를 활용한 VR 사용자 외부 안전지원 시스템

        When wearing a VR HMD, the user external view is blocked, so the user relies on a preset safety range for safety. In addition, the user safety system provided by the HMD manufacturer is executed when it is outside the safety range. However, user protection is insufficient for dangerous situations caused by moving objects within the designated safety range. This paper detects learned person data of COCO data set using YOLOv4 algorithm on real-time images input through front camera of Vive Pro Eye device to reduce the risk of moving objects within a safety range specified by HMD users. The person data detected in real-time provides an image as a pop-up window on the user screen. Through this, a method of reducing the risk of accidents by identifying and preparing for risks caused by moving objects is suggested.

        최근 서울시에서는 ‘미세먼지 비상저감조치,로 ‘대중교통 무료,정책을 시행하고 후속 조치로 ‘시민 참여형 차량 2 부제,를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 먼저,위 두 교통 정책의 실효성을 파악하기 위해 ‘교통’을 중심으로 각 산업이 미세먼지에 미치는 영향을 알아보고,위 정책들에 대한 시민들의 반응을 분석한다. 각 산업이 미세먼지에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석으로,두 정책에 대한 시민들의 반응은 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 통해 알아보았다. 그 결과,교통수단의 도로 이용 여부에 따라 미세먼지 에 미치는 영향력의 정도와 방향이 다름을 알 수 있었고 정책에 대한 관심과 부정적인 의견이 크게 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 또 국외 요인에 대한 해결책도 필요로 함을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 위 결과를 토대로 향후 미세먼지 문제와 관련된 정책이 나아갈 방향을 제시한다.

      • DOWELL: 상지운동장애인을 위한 Dwell 기반 스마트폰 조작 솔루션

        몸의 움직임이 불편한 장애인들은 자신들의 장애유형에 맞는 특수한 보조기구를 통해 컴퓨터를 사용해왔다. 그들 중에서도 손/팔의 움직임이 불편한 상지장애인은 버튼의 누르는 동작자체가 어렵기 때문에 보조기구와 함께 Dwell-time 방식 등의 버튼 대체 소프트웨어를 사용했다. 하지만 아직까지 스마트폰에 맞는 버튼 대체 소프트웨어가 없어 상지장애인이 스마트폰을 사용할 방법이 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 상지운동장애인을 위한 Dwell 기반 스마트폰 조작 솔루션인 DOWELL 을 소개한다. 기존에 사용하던 컴퓨터용 보조기구를 스마트폰에 연결하고 DOWELL 을 실행하면 버튼 없이 일정시간 멈추는 동작으로 스마트폰을 사용할 수 있다. DOWELL 은 동작 정확도가 떨어지는 장애인을 위해 네 방향 모서리를 이용하여 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 또한 스마트폰의 작은 화면 특성을 감안하여 펼침 메뉴를 사용하였고 다양한 입력 제스쳐를 제공하여 제약 없이 일반인처럼 스마트폰의 모든 기능을 사용할 수 있게 하였다. DOWELL 을 통해 상지운동 장애인들도 스마트폰을 사용할 수 있으며 이는 장애인의 자립심 증대 및 정보격차 해소에 도움이 될 것이다. The disabled who cannot as easily move their bodies have used the computer with assistance devices specially developed for their type of disability. Among the disabled, people with upper limb disorders, who have difficulties moving their hands and arms, have used button substitution software such as Dwelltime with assistance devices since they cannot press the button. However, these people cannot as of yet use smartphones because there is no button substitution software for smartphones. In this research, I would like to introduce DOWELL, a smartphone control solution based on Dwell for people with upper limb disorders. If a person with upper limb disorders connect the assistance device that already use to the smartphone a nd activate D OWELL, heors he will be able to use the smartphone without buttons by just stopping movements for a predetermined time. DOWELL has built its interface using fourdirection corners for the disabled who lack movement accuracy. Also, considering the small-sized screen of smartphones, we have used pop-up menus and provided various input gestures so that the disabled can use all functions that people without disabilities can use. With DOWELL, people with upper-limb movement disorder will be able to use smartphones, which will contribute to an increase in the disabled people’s sense of independence and a reduction of information gap.
