Generally. in the molecular dynamics simulations. the Verlet neighboring list algorithm is used for the reduction of a simulation time On the other hand. the application of the Verlet neighboring list forces the time evolution of a simulation system to follow an unrealistic path in a phase space. In equilibrium state, it does not matter with the simulation results because the individual molecule's motion is originally random and any effect due to a small deviation from a real time evolution can be completely ignored. However, if an unsteady state is involved. such a deviation may significantly affect to the results. That is, there is a Possibility that the simulation results Provide ones with any misleading data In this study we evaluated the effect due to the Verlet neighboring list in performing the simulation of a non-equilibrium state and suggested the method to avoid it.

An ejector driven by a liquid is a fluid transfer equipment to be used under a poor suction condition, which means that there exists a possibility to occur a cavitation. It is a highly reliable device because it has no movable part in it, that is only a passive equipment. The ejector is an inevitably necessary one to overcome a poor pumping condition and to mix uniformly two fluids, however it has a low efficiency since it requires a pump for its operation. This study is for the development of a new-type liquid ejector with the application of a nozzle shape alteration, which maximize the suction performance of it. which provides the increased competition with the domestic industries. Also, the increased performance opens a new manufacturing method to use a commercial pipes for the production of an ejector, which is based on a trivial loss of a performance. However, this minor loss can be sufficiently compensated by the increased performance of a new-type ejector. Therefore, the developed ejector by this study can considerably reduce the manufacturing time and cost while its performance is largely increased.

A state of equilibrium means that the thermophysical properties must be equal no matter where a measurement is performed in a system. However, some recent studies reported that there exists the temperature difference over a liquid-vapor interface even though the system is at a state of equilibrium when a system reduces to a nanoscalesize. Those conclusions leave a strong question as to whether the definition of a thermal equilibrium state should be changed in the case of nanoscale systems. In the present study, we carefully investigated the temperature profile over a liquid-vapor interface using the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and found that the temperature difference between a liquid phase and a vapor phase over an interface resulted from the methodological difference of the temperature calculation. That is, the definition of a thermal equilibrium state has no reason to be changed no matter how a system would be small.

An ejector is a fluid transfer device to be used for mixing of fluids, maintaining vacuum, and overcoming a poor suction condition. To date, most ejectors have been made from the casting process. which is time-consuming and high-cost process. Therefore, a new production method of ejectors is desired if any. In this experimental study, we proposed a new type ejector manufactured from the commercial fitting materials and the welding process, which is equipped with an orifice type nozzle. The proposed ejector has a good integrity compared with the conventional ejector because the fittings have manufactured by forging and they have more strength than the casting materials. Furthermore we adopted a multi-opening orifice type nozzle for improving a suction capacity and compared with a single-opening orifice type nozzle. From the experimental results. we confirmed that the multi-opening nozzle had a food suction capacity than the single-opening nozzle and the proposed new type ejector showed higher vacuum than the conventional type ejector in non-load condition. These improved characteristics suggests that a new type ejector by using the commercial fittings opens the feasibility to be adopted in various industry fields and that the increased suction capacity can be achieved by altering the nozzle design of a conventional ejector.

본 연구의 목적은 해양경찰의 현장지휘체계에 대한 문제점과 원인을 밝히는 것이다. 해양재난 발생현장에서 현장지휘관이 합리적인 의사결정을 할 것이라는 기대가능성에 대해 매우 부정적인 결론을 도출하였고, 여러 관점의 문제점을 연구하였다. 해양사고 대응 조직체계와 같은 구조적인 측면뿐만 아니라 의사결정과 같은 비구조적인 측면을 이론과 분석을 통해 비효율적인 조직체계, 합리적인 의사결정의 실패, 현장과의 소통 부족과 같은 문제점을 밝혀냈으며, 선진형 현장 지휘체계의 모색, 효율적인 조직, 전문인력의 양성, 개방적인 조직문화의 조성과 같은 대안들을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to clarify the problems and causes of OSC system of the KCG. In the disaster of sea, the possibility that could expect a reasonable decision making is low. The study has carried out for the different point of view of the problems. The problems have been revealed through the theory and analysis of structural and non-structural aspects for the OSC system, such as inefficient organization system, failure of reasonable decision making, lack of communication with the field. The conclusions of the study have been proposed such as an advanced On-Scene Command system, efficient organization, the training of professional staff, the creating of open organizational culture.

An experimental study of molecular motions on a liquid-vapor interface is limited due to micro-scale characteristics of a system with an angstrom or a nanometer size Therefore, in recent, many studies for micro-scale systems have been conducted by a computer simulation because it is free from experimental limitations. In this study, through the molecular dynamic (MD) method. molecular behavior was clarified on a liquid-vapor interface and a criterion to distinguish between liquid and vapor was suggested by a potential energy and the number of neighboring molecules. At an interface. the potential energy of a molecule was increased but the number of neighboring molecules was decreased when the molecule moved into a vapor region from a liquid region, and vice versa.

해양경찰은 2007년부터 해양오염예방관리가 우수한 사업장에 대해서는 “자율점검제도”를 도입하여 관리하여 왔으며, 이 제도는 사업장의 많은 관심과 참여로 효과를 거두었다. 그러나 수년이 지나면서 변화된 사회 환경과 해양종사자들의 의식 변화 그리고 내부조직의 변화 등을 적기에 반영되지 않아 현재 정체되어 있는 실정이다. 이러한 내외부의 환경변화를 수용하기 위하여 자율점검제도에 참여하는 사업장의 해양종사자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 제도를 재조명하고 효과적인 개선방안을 마련하는데 중점을 두었다. 제도의 실효성을 높이기 위해서는 홍보를 강화하고 5톤 이상 선박의 해양오염관리를 위한 제도개선이 필요하며, 해양오염관리가 우수한 사업장은 사업 활동과 점검에 대한 부담을 줄일 수 있도록 해양환경관리법에 “자율점검제도”를 반영해야 한다. For marine pollution prevention, Korea Coast Guard has enforced the self-check system on excellent workplace of marine facilities and ships since 2007 as part of the government policy for deregulation of administrative inspection. The self-check system had much effect amid interest from the workplaces and with their participation and cooperation. But the system has become stagnant because KCG has missed the proper timing to reflect the social and environmental change, marine workers" consciousness changes and the transformation of its relevant inner organization in the operation of the system for several years. To accommodate the changes of internal and external environments, this study surveyed 332 workers of ships and marine facilities through questionnaire about the self-check system for marine pollution prevention, reflected on the system, and focused on how to improve the existing system effectively. To increase the effect of self-check system, the enhancement of public relations efforts and improvements in marine pollution control system for ships of 5 gross tons and above are necessary. In addition, for relieving the burdens of business activity and visit inspection by KCG on excellent workplaces of ships and marine facilities, Marine Environment Management Act is needed to be amended so that the self-check system can be reflected in its amendment.
