The purpose of this study is to analyze the physical environment of youth housing in the station area and examine the features to form a sense of regional belonging of young single-person households. The study was conducted through literature review on place attachment, site visit and case study on the youth housing in Seoul. Among the three factors affecting place attachment, physical and environmental factors of youth housing in the station area were analyzed by dividing them into place dependence, place identity, and social attachment. The results of the analysis showed the lack of green spaces due to high density development in the station area, uniform design makes it difficult to build place identity, and limited use of community spaces. Based on the results, the study proposed following suggestions. First, it is required to ensure that outdoor gardens and green spaces are sufficiently secured. Second, it is necessary to strengthen the program of the community spaces for the development of social attachment. Third, it is necessary to break away from the uniform design of youth housing and provide an open spaces where people can stay for a while and interact with each other.

The purpose of the study is to find effective measures for housing expenses and public rental housing support programs to support semi-underground residents in Seoul based on their current perception and future demand for support programs. Two researchers visited semi-underground households in Seoul face-to-face and conducted in-depth interviews with a total of 186 people. The results of the data analysis showed it is necessary to provide guidance on support measures through various channels, to introduce qualification criteria reflecting the specificity of semi-underground households, and to simplify complicated administrative procedures. Second, a specific voucher plan that can increase the amount of support should be established for the underprivileged class. In addition, it is required to expand the supply of public rental housing centered on low-rise residential areas with high access to public transportation. It is also expected that semi-underground housing certification system needs to be actively reviewed and introduced in the near future.

Exogenous lipoid pneumonia occurs rarely in healthy people. In most cases, exogenous lipoid pneumonia is usually caused by aspiration of mineral, vegetable, or animal oil. We report the case of 42-year-old woman, who have experienced lipoid pneumonia after silicon injection into her breast for cosmetic purposes. The patient experienced fever, dyspnea, sputum, and hemoptysis after silicon injection into her breast. Chest computed tomography demonstrated non- segmental distribution of bilateral consolidation in both lung fields. A transbronchial lung biopsy specimen shows foamy microphages in alveolar spaces. Papanicolaous staining of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid showed abundant foamy marcrophages and many neutrophils. With these results, we confirmed lipoid pneumonia was associated with silicon oil injection into breast.
