다중 해상도 병합을 이용한 수정된 적응 공명 이론 신경망: 혼합 문자 인식 적용

최근 정보기술의 발달과 함께 문자 인식의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 특히, 유비쿼터스 시대가 도래하면서 개인휴대용 정보 단말기, 태블릿 PC 등 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 장비가 급속도로 대중화 되고 있다. 이에 사람마다 다양한 필체로 인한 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 인식률을 높일 수 있는 문자 인식에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 다중 해상도 병합을 이용한 수정된 적응 공명 이론 신경망을 제안한다. 이는 자율 학습 신경망과 다중 해상도의 관점에서 접근하여 문자 인식 문제에 적용시켜 본 것이다. 노이즈와 문자 특성 정보를 구별하고 인식률을 높이기 위해 고해상도와 저해상도 정보를 같이 이용하는 다중 해상도 병합 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 다중 해상도 병합 방법의 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 적응 공명 이론 신경망의 유사도 측정 방법을 제안하여 기존의 방법보다 우수한 실험 결과를 제시하였다. As Information Technology growing, the character recognition application plays an important role in the ubiquitous environment. In this paper, we propose the Modified ART1 network using Multiresolution Mergence to the problems of the character recognition. The approach is based on the unsupervised neural network and multiresolution. In order to decrease noises and to increase the classification rate of the characters, we propose the multiresolution mergence strategy using both high resolution and low resolution information. Also, to maximize the effect of multiresolution mergence, we use a modified ART1 method with a different similarity measure. Our experimental results show that the classification rate of character is quite increased as well as the performance of the propose algorithm in conjunction with the similarity measure is improved comparing to the conventional ART1 algorithm in this application.

In this paper, we propose sludge collection strategies which allocate each sewage store of village to sewage treatment plants and decide the schedule of sludge collection in order to collect sludge efficiently. The strategies aim to decrease transportation cost with deciding proposed vehicle routing and scheduling the sludge collection. When we decide route of vehicles, we consider the collection time in sewage store of village, distance between sewage store of villages and vehicle information as average velocity of vehicle, operation time of vehicle driver. We also develop the SCMS (Sludge Collection Management System) based on windows system with real data which is used in certain circumstance. And we experiment to figure out vehicle route and transportation cost throughout changing input data.

In order to improve national competitiveness through technological research and development, the government puts in R&D budget every year and manages to improve the R&D results. Accordingly, various R&D project management methods have applied for successful advancement of technology and product. TRL is a measurement system developed by NASA to assess the maturity of technology since the 1970s. To apply medical device, the characteristics such as regulation, clinical trials are considered as a significant influence. In this study, we would like to derive PMI(performance measures index) for medical device R&D projects by using TRL and stage-gate model. As a result of this study, it is possible to use the PMI for decision making and evaluation in the R&D projects and believed that the objectivity can be ensured by the approval or certification of regulatory authority.
외부 R&D가 혁신 효율성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 국내 제조 산업을 중심으로

The external R&D, which includes the adoption of the external technology and knowledge in addition to the internal R&D, is one of important factors for the innovation. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs), the external R&D has been considered as a key factor to carry out the innovation more efficiently due to the limitations of their resources. However, most studies related to external R&D have focused on innovation outputs or outcomes. Only a few studies have explored the impact of external R&D on the innovation efficiency. This study therefore investigates whether the external R&D effects the industry’s innovation efficiency and productivity. On this study, we used Korean manufacturing industry data of SMEs from 2012 to 2014 and employed a global Malmquist productivity analysis technique, which is based on the Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), to assess the innovation efficiency and productivity. Then, the sectoral patterns of both innovation efficiency and productivity are analyzed with respect to the technological intensity, which is introduced by OECD. We show that the gap of innovation efficiency between external and internal R&D groups has gradually decreased because of the continuous improvement of the external R&D group’s performance, while the external R&D group lag behind the internal R&D. In addition, patterns of the innovation efficiency and productivity change were different depending on the technological intensity, which means that the higher the technological intensity, the greater the effect of external R&D.

This study deals with the market trend analysis of major polysaccharide materials(chitosan, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, ßglucan, fucoidan and glucosamine) in Japan. We analysed market trend in Japan in order to prospect the technology and market trend in Korea as Japan is a world leader in this field. Most of polysaccharides were used as an additive to health functional food, cosmetics or medical product. After analysed polysaccharide sales in Japan since 2003, we can find out polysaccharide market are increased gradually in spite of a decrease in chitosan(including its oligomer) sales. Especially, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin market are significantly increased with a demand for medical applications.
