김주영 성장소설 『홍어』에 나타난 인물 중심의 서사 전개와 표현의 효과

김주영의 성장소설에는 인물 간의 감정이나 행동 변화 등의 장면이 섬세하고 탁월하게 묘사된다. 홍어 에 등장하는 인물들 역시 각자의 서사를 가지고 이야기를 풀어나가는데, 본 연구에서는 인물들을 중심으로 서사 전개의 특징과 표현의 효과를 내용과 형식을 관통하며 다각적으로 탐색하였다. 우선 주인공인 ‘세영’을 중심으로 열네 살의 소년이 바라보는 장면의 묘사나 삼례를 향하는 사랑의 감정을 서정적으로 표현하며 서사를 전개해 나간다. 또한 세영의 성장 과정 속에서 어린 소년의 미숙한 모습을 보이며 사건의 균열을 발생시키거나 이후 서사 전개를 유발한다. 그러나 이와 동시에 회상소설이기도 한 홍어 속 세영은 통찰적인 모습을 보이기도 한다. 마지막으로 세영의 아버지와 어머니의 존재는 세영을 성장시킴과 동시에 삶의 혼란을 유발하기도 한다. 아버지에 대한 환상과 그리움, 어머니의 탈주는 서사 전개 과정에서 합리적 의구심을 유발하기도 하지만 세영의 성장에 결정적이며 각자의 삶이 소설에서 실감나게 그려졌음을 알 수 있다. In Kim Joo-young’s growth novels, scenes such as emotional and behavioral changes between characters are delicately and excellently described. The characters in 『Skate』 also tell the story with their own narratives. This study explores the characteristics of the narrative development and the effects of expression from various angles, penetrating the content and form, centered on the characters. First, the narrative is developed by describing the scenes that a fourteen-year-old boy looks at and lyrically expressing his feelings of love for Sam-rye. the immature appearance is shown during Se-yeong’s growth process, causing a rift in the incident or triggering the subsequent narrative development. However, at the same time, Se-yeong which is also a memoir, shows an insightful appearance. Finally, the presence of Se-yeong’s parent helps Se-yeong grow while also causing confusion in his life. The fantasy and longing for his father and his mother’s escape sometimes cause rational doubts in the course of the narrative development, but they are crucial to Se-yeong’s growth, and we can see that each person’s life is realistically depicted in the novel.

문학 작품의 수용에서 문학교사의 윤리적 가치 이해 양상 연구

본고는 초등 문학교사의 아동문학 감상문을 중심으로 그들의 윤리적 가치 이해 양상을 분석하였다. 문학교사란 문학교육의 목표를 달성하기 위해 문학수업을 이끌어 가는 주체로서의 교사이다. 그들은 문학 작품을 감상하고 향유하는 정통한 독자임과 동시에 문학수업에서 학생의 예상 반응을 고려하는 교수자의 역할을 수행한다. 따라서 문학교사가 윤리적 가치를 인식하고 이해하는 것은 학생의 윤리적 삶을 추구하는 데 긍정적이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 초등학교 문학교사 17인을 대상으로 감상문을 수집하였고 이에 대한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과 문학교사는 ‘독자로서 경험에의 투영과 윤리적 삶의 자각’, ‘학습자를 고려한 비윤리적 인물에 관한 비판적 태도’, 나아가 ‘공동체 형성을 위한 문학과 윤리적 삶의 연계’와 관련한 내용을 중심으로 윤리적 가치를 이해하는 양상을 보였다.

광고를 활용한 비주얼 리터러시 교육 방안

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to develop educational methods using advertising for visual literacy education. Methods:We consider the concept of visual literacy and the advertising characteristics of visual images. Based on this, after expressing the significance of visual literacy education, a plan for visual literacy education using advertisements was prepared. Results:The methods using advertising for visual literacy education include ‘viewing and imagining advertising image strategies without text’, ‘interpreting metaphorical expressions of images and text’, ‘creating public advertisements using familiar materials’ and ‘communicating and comparing advertisements on the same topic’. Conclusion:Education on visual images accepted through various media in modern society is needed. Visual literacy education using persuasive images given by advertisements can be easy to identify metaphorical expressions using implicit and familiar materials and can be an education that promotes imagination. 목적:이 연구는 비주얼 리터러시 교육에서 광고를 활용한 교육 방안을 구안하는 데에 있다. 방법:비주얼 리터러시의 개념과 시각 이미지로서 광고의 특성을 고찰한다. 이를 바탕으로 비주얼 리터러시 교육의 의의를 밝힌 뒤 광고를 활용한 비주얼 리터러시 교육 방안을 마련하였다. 결과:비주얼 리터러시 교육에서 광고의 활용 방안에는 ‘텍스트 없이 광고 이미지 전략을 보고 상상하기’, ‘이미지와 텍스트의 은유적 표현 해석하기’, ‘친숙한 소재를 활용하여 공익광고 만들기’, ‘동일한 주제의 광고에 대해 소통하며 비교하기’가 있다. 결론:현대사회의 다양한 매체를 통해 받아들이는 시각 이미지에 대한 교육이 필요하다. 광고가 주는 설득적 이미지를 활용한 비주얼 리터러시 교육은 함축적이고 친숙한 소재를 활용한 은유적 표현 등을 파악하는데 수월하고 상상력을 촉진하는 교육이 될 수 있다.

서사 감상 과정에서 독자의 반성 작용에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to discuss what kind of appreciation process the reader who accepted the narrative goes through to use it in reality. To this end, this study explored Kant's 'reflection' and revealed its principle. Based on this, the mode of reflection in narrative appreciation was subdivided into 'judgment through narrative thinking', 'imagination of experience and emotion', and 'criticism for the expansion of thought', and its aspects were examined. First of all, the reader appreciates the target literary work, thinks narratively, discovers the meaning in the work, and accepts the work with an integrated perspective. As a result of accepting the narrative, self-reflection is made and the results of appreciation are utilized in life. Along with this, students will be able to persuade and communicate with others, develop narrative skills, and understand the totality of life. In the end, the reader's appreciation of the narrative plays an important role not only in understanding the text itself but also in driving change in life. For this, the reader's active appreciation is required. In this regard, the meaning of reflection discussed by Kant is significant. By revealing the working method of reflection for subjective appreciation of works to be universal, readers' narrative appreciation can be a foundation for communicating with others and pursuing the value of life. In this study, we looked at reviews of children's literature and analyzed the aspects of how the action of reflection can be concretely implemented.

Effects of White-coat Hypertension on Heart Rate Recovery and Blood Pressure Response during Exercise Test

Objectives: White-coat hypertension is defined as high blood pressure (BP) on clinical assessment but normal BP elsewhere or on ambulatory measurement. Autonomic dysfunction may be one of the mechanisms causing white-coat hypertension. Slowed heart rate recovery and excessive BP response during exercise test are associated with autonomic dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between white-coat hypertension and abnormal autonomic nervous system response. Methods: We assessed 295 patients stratified into three groups via 24hr ambulatory BP monitoring, following 2017 ACC/AHA guidelines : normal BP group, white-coat hypertension group, and a hypertension group. We analyzed medical history, blood test, echocardiography, 24hr ambulatory BP monitoring, and exercise test data. Results: There was no difference in basement characteristics and echocardiography among the groups. Blunted heart rate recovery of each group showed a significant difference. Control group had 0% blunted heart rate recovery, but 33.3% in white coat group and 27.6% in true hypertension group (P < 0.001). Also, in the control group, 4.5% showed excessive BP response, but 31.5% in the white coat hypertension group and 29.3% in the true hypertension group (P < 0.001). Excessive BP response during the exercise test or blunted heart rate recovery, which is an indicator of autonomic nervous system abnormality, was more common in the hypertensive group and white-coat hypertension group than in the normal BP group. Conclusions: These results confirmed that white-coat hypertension has an autonomic nervous system risk. Therefore, white-coat hypertension can be a future cardiovascular risk factor.

폴라니 인격적 지식론의 문학교육적 수용 방향에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to discuss the direction of how M. Polanyi’s perspective on personal knowledge can be accommodated in literature education. In particular, in the field of literature education, learners must fully demonstrate not only explicit knowledge, but also an attitude of inner enjoyment and imagination that closely connects works with life. In order to develop the literature ability, knowledge must be personally accepted, as Polanyi emphasizes, rather than objective knowledge. Based on Polanyi's point of view, literary education is meaningful in cultivating learners' appreciation ability, facilitating the formation of a reaction oriented toward the integration of subjectivity and objectivity, and expanding the tacit realm of knowledge focusing on literature works. 본 연구의 목적은 폴라니의 인격적 지식론에 대한 관점이 문학교육에 어떻게 수용될 수 있는지에 관한 방향성을 논의하는 데 있다. 특히 문학교육의 장에서 학습자는 명시화된 지식뿐만 아니라 내적인 향유의 태도, 작품을 삶과 긴밀하게 연결 짓는 상상력 등을 충분히 발휘해야 한다. 문학 능력을 기르기 위해 객관적인 지식이 아닌, 폴라니가 강조하는 것처럼 지식을 인격적으로 수용해야 한다. 폴라니의 관점에 기반한다면 문학교육은 학습자의 문학 능력을 함양하며 주관과 객관의 통합을 지향하는 반응을 형성하도록 촉진하고 문학 작품을 중심으로 지식의 암묵적 영역을 확장시키는 데 유의미하다.

청소년소설에 나타난 반항과 그 윤리적 의미

Youth novels, which are assumed to be the target audience for adolescents, narratively shape their growth process from the point of view of adolescents. At this time, the problematic behavior is revealed when the adolescent fails to obey the instructions of adults, has wrong values, or when the repressed subjectivity is revealed and the self-world is expressed as reality. When viewed as ‘resistance’, through resistance of adolescents, they improve problematic behaviors, change relationships, or intentionally induce problematic behaviors in a way that releases them inside. In this study, the aspects of resistance in youth novels were analyzed in novels, and how it contributed to the growth of youth characters was discussed. To this end, we examine the relationship between Camus’ absurdity and resistance, and how it materializes and has ethical significance in the novel. As a result of analyzing the two works 『Almond』 and 『Eugene and Eugene』, it was possible to confirm the causality of the plot in which the characters in the youth novels feel absurd, rebel, and change and grow. Gon in 『Almond』, which changed by overthrowing problematic behavior, and small Eugene in 『Eugene and Eugene』, who try to solve the problem by reversing the problematic behavior. practice could be verified.

글자 그림책을 활용한 문해력의 발달과 교육에 관한 연구

본 연구는 글자 그림책의 가치를 밝히고 이를 활용한 교육 방안을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 글자 그림책은 꾸준히 출판되고 있으며 자모음과 관련된 단어를 가르치는 것부터 서사의 이해와 상위 언어적 지식을 가르치는 데 유의미하다. 문해력의 발달은 한글 해득뿐만 아니라 텍스트를 이해하고 생산하는 능력 전반에 관여하며 궁극적으로 사고력을 기르고 사회문화적 맥락에서 소통하는 능력에도 영향을 미친다. 글자 그림책은 글자와 소리의 대응 인식, 서사의 이해와 감상, 통합적·범교과적 접근과 학습의 교육적 활용 방안을 지니며 문해력의 발달에 유의미하다. 글자 그림책을 활용한 문해력 교육은 결국 단어를 읽으며 세상을 읽어내야 하는 능숙한 독자를 길러내기 위한 과정이다. 독자는 책을 자신의 세상과 연결 지으며 학습하고 스스로 생각하고 읽어낼 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to identify the value of alphabet books and explore educational methods utilizing them. Alphabet books are being published consistently and are significant in teaching words related to consonants and vowels, as well as understanding narratives and teaching higher-level linguistic knowledge. The development of literacy involves not only Hangul decoding but also the ability to understand and produce texts, and ultimately affects the ability to develop thinking skills and communicate in a sociocultural context. Alphabet books have educational applications for recognizing correspondence between alphabets and sounds, understanding and appreciating narratives, and integrated and cross-curricular approaches and learning, and are significant for the development of literacy. Literacy education utilizing alphabet books is ultimately a process for fostering skilled readers who must read the world by reading words. Readers can learn by connecting books to their own world, and think and read on their own.

단절과 고립의 극복을 위한 소설 읽기와 교육적 의미

본 연구에서는 현대사회의 단절과 고립이 어디서 기인하는지에 관해 심층적으로 살피며 문학교육적 의미를 밝혔다. 오늘날 사회로부터의 단절과 고립은 역설적이게도 관계 속에서 발현되는 양상을 보이며, 청소년들 역시 상대적 고립감으로 인해 공동체 안에서 더욱 외로움을 느끼게 된다. 따라서 이를 극복하기 위해서는 역시 관계 속에서 문제를 해결할 수 있어야 한다. 오늘날 단절과 고립 양상이 소설에서는 어떻게 드러나는지 살폈으며 특히 소설 속 청소년 인물에 주목하였다. 소설 속에서 인물들은 관계를 불편해하며 단절과 고립을 경험한다. 그러나 또 다른 청소년 인물은 이러한 부정적인 단절과 고립을 해소하고 소속감과 공동체 의식을 발현하며 타인과의 관계를 개선할 수 있게 된다. 소설 속 인물들의 단절과 고립 양상, 이를 극복하는 과정을 분석하며 문학교육적 의미를 밝혔는데, 문학 수업에서 독자는 인물의 단절과 고립에 관한 복합적 서사 맥락을 이해해야 하며 타인의 존재를 인정하고 자신의 주체성을 형성할 줄 알아야 한다. 일련의 소설 읽기를 통해 독자는 타인과의 유의미한 관계를 인식하며 현실의 문제를 해소할 실마리를 발견할 수 있다. In this study, I conducted an in-depth exploration of the origins of disconnection and isolation in today’s society and examined the role of literature education in addressing this issue. Currently, disconnection and isolation from society paradoxically manifest within relationships, leading to increased feelings of loneliness and relative isolation within communities. Therefore, to overcome this, these issues must be addressed within the context of relationships. I examined how contemporary disconnection and isolation are portrayed in novels, focusing particularly on adolescent characters. In some novels, characters form relationships and experience disconnection and isolation. However, certain adolescent characters are depicted as overcoming these challenges, fostering a sense of belonging and community, and improving their relationships with others. By analyzing the patterns of disconnection and isolation among the characters in novels and the process of overcoming them, the literature educational significance was revealed. In literature classes, readers must understand the complex narrative context of the characters’ disconnection and isolation, acknowledge the existence of others, and develop their own subjectivity. By reading a variety of novels, readers can identify meaningful relationships with others and glean insights into addressing real-life problems.
