본 논문에서는 주파수공간에서의 주성분 분석을 사용하여 기상자료를 분석하고자 한다. 주파수공간에서의 주성분분석은 차원축소를 위해서도 사용되지만, 주요한 패턴을 뽑아내는 데 사용되는 통계적 방법 중 하나이다. 일반적으로 주파수공간에서의 주성분 분석은 두 가지의 방법이 있는데, Hilbert PCA와 frequency domain PCA가 그것이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 시간공간 주성분 분석과 함께 두 가지 주파수공간 주성분 분석 방법을 비교하였다. 시뮬레이션 자료를 통하여 주파수공간 주성분 분석 방법의 유용성을 보였으며, 열대 태평양 지역의 해수표층 온도값에 주성분 분석 방법들을 적용하여 기상자료 분석에 대한 유용성을 확인하였다. In this paper, we review principal component analysis (PCA) procedures in the frequency domain and apply them to analyze sea surface temperature data. The classical PCA defined in the time domain is a popular dimension reduction technique. Extending the conventional PCA to the frequency domain makes it possible to define PCA in the frequency domain, which is useful for dimension reduction as well as a feature extraction of multiple time series. We focus on two PCA methods in the frequency domain, Hilbert PCA (HPCA) and frequency domain PCA (FDPCA). We review these two PCAs in order for potential readers to easily understand insights as well as perform a numerical study for comparison with conventional PCA. Furthermore, we apply PCA methods in the frequency domain to sea surface temperature data on the tropical Pacific Ocean. Results from numerical experiments demonstrate that PCA in the frequency domain is effective for the analysis of time series data.
보신 관광에서 감염된 수입성 Sparganosis 1예 : Intake of Thailand Snake during Trip

Human sparganosois was reported more than 100 cases in Korean population. However no case reported yet in Korea as a patient was infected by sparganum from other geographical area, such as Thailand. The case we are reported here is a 38 year-old Korean male who had been suffered from mass being a small, round and soft consistance in upper portion of his right thigh. The patients stated that he had an opportunity to eat living snake in Bangkok, Thailand during trip. As therapy praziquantel (75㎎/㎏/day) was given p.o. for 14 days, but in vain to cure. Following medical treatment, surgical exicision was performed to remove a alive, soft, whitish-milky, mobile and elongated sparganum. Serlogical test by micro-ELISA for sparganum-specific antibody revealed a high serum antibody level of absorbance 0.67 (positive criterion: absorbance 0.22).
Contact Lens 使用患者에서 發生한 東洋眼蟲症 1例

A case of human thelaziasis wearing the contact lens reports in the department of Internal Medicine and Parasitology. The patient was 24 years old female teacher who taught at the primary school. She lived in city of Jae Choen, Choong Cheong Buk Do and worn contact lens during last 3 years. Since august 27, 1990 she have experienced epiphora and sensation of moving foreign body in her right eye during 20 days. On September 18 and 20, 1990 she found moving foreign body in her right eye, then removed 2 alived worms from her right eye by herself. On September 24, 1990 she visited our hospital with one of the worms which removed from her right eye. Morphlogic features of a removed worm were as follows; The gross appearance of the worm was slender, milky white nematodes. The microscopic measurements were 16.70 ㎜ in length, 0.35 ㎜ in maximum width, 0.03 ㎜ in depth of buccal cavity, 0.47 ㎜ in lenght of the deirid, 0.52 ㎜ in length of the vaginal opening, 0.72 ㎜ in length of the esophagus and anal opening on 0.047 ㎜ from posterior end. From the above findings the worm was confirmed to be a female worm of Thelazia callipaeda Railliet and Henry 1910.
