연부조직에 발생하는 단발성 아밀로이드종은 매우 드물다. 저자들은 경골 근위부 골절 후 20여년 뒤에 전경골근에서 발생한 염증을 동반한 석회화성 아밀로이드종 1예를 경험하였으며, 종양 제거술 후 재발없이 만족스런 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 아밀로이드종은 매우 드물기도 하고 골수염이나 골종양과 구분이 어려웠던 경우이므로 문헌고찰과 함께 증례보고를 하는 바이다. Calcific amyloidoma of the soft tissue is quite rare and it is difficult to make a differential diagnosis from other lesions such as osteomyelitis or bone tumor. We encountered a case of a calcified amyloidoma found in the anterior tibial muscle that occurred more than 20 years after a proximal tibial fracture adjacent to the origin of the muscle. The features of the lesion resembled osteomyelitis. Satisfactory result was obtained by a thorough mass excision. We report this case with review of the relevant literature.

Overlap scan waveform and its driving circuit with the overlapped the scan pulses of each scan line are proposed to improve the address discharge characteristics and success the plasma discharge on the display cells under the constant address voltage and time in AC plasma display panel. When the applying time of a scan and address pulse is long in a plasma display panel, an address discharge is produced successfully during an address pulse width and low address voltage and high speed address driving because much wall charges are accumulated on the cell, but the time cannot increase indefinitely due to the constant total time. If a scan pulse can be widen and overlapped in the constant address time, the stable plasma discharge can produce under the short address time condition. However, in the conventional scan driving method, as the address discharge is produced when the scan and address voltages are applied at the same time during an address period and the scan pulses are applied one by one when one pulse is over, it is impossible to make the overlap waveform with the conventional driving method. The proposed overlap scan driving method can overlap scan pulses with dividing odd and even scan ICs. As a result, the stable plasma discharge is obtained in the constant address time and minimum address voltage can be reduced about 10 V.

An innovative in-core neutron flux mapping system has been developed and applied successfully for service in a commercial pressurized water reactor. With the benefit of double indexing path selector (Dips<SUP>®</SUP>) mechanism, the reliability of the detector drive system has been improved five times higher than that of conventional systems, and the problems caused by the serious friction generated between the detector cable and guide tubing has been solved completely because the Dips<SUP>®</SUP> architecture allows the detector guide tubings to have larger curvature and shorter length in nature. The simple and fast maintenance is particularly emphasized in the detector drive system to secure minimum radiation exposure to the maintenance personnel by optimizing the number of components and providing easy access to the components. The programmable logic controller based digital controller with Windows<SUP>®</SUP> based operator’s console provides fully automated and user friendly operation and maintenance support means.
LED 백라이트 시스템을 이용한 빛 감지형 액자의 연구

A lighted frame using LED backlight system operated by sensing of light was developed including in CDS sensor for sensing brightness. The LED backlight was turned off when the surrounding illumination was bright, and turned on when the surround illumination was dark. A frame was designed that the inside space was sufficient for inserting the LED backlight system and the edge of the frame could hide unnecessary light by a LED backlight. A LED backlight system was designed that a high speed switching transistor operated on and off state by connecting a CDS light sensor to base terminal because a CDS light sensor has a characteristics that a resistance was 0 in the case of bright condition and infinite value in the dark condition. 3 anodes among 9 LEDs with the series and parallel connections was joined to power supply and 3 cathodes was joined to a collector of the transistor. LEDs were light because 3 cathodes were grounded when a transistor turns on and LEDs were dark because 3 cathodes were floating in the off state. It was founded that LED backlight did not operate by the sensor under the bright illumination condition and normally operated when the surrounding illumination was dark.

The light characteristics with changing of the waveform on the common electrode and the optimal condition for improving the discharge characteristics were investigated during an address period in AC PDP. As each sub-frame of the driving scheme in AC PDP was divided into reset, address, and sustain period, negative charge was accumulated on two electrodes of the front substrate and positive charge was accumulated on the address electrode of the rear substrate after a reset period. In an address period, the address discharge was produced using the accumulated wall charge during a reset period by the scan and address pulses in the case of the conventional driving method. However, in this study, the address light waveform was measured by changing the pulse amplitude and applying time when the pulse was applied to the common electrode during an address period. As a result, the address discharge time could be shortened about 200 ns under the optimal condition.

Since early 1900`s, the ideas of making use of theatre/drama as a teaching medium has been spreaded, and tried out in school and for some special social education. The result is to confirm its positive and efficient functions as educational medium. Social function of theatre demonstrates the positive value in education. Theatre, as a most valuable function, creates the situation of total involvement/confrontation which makes the mobilization of human potentiality and creativity maximal. Also theatre, for learning, provides natural and funny atmosphere through actual experience, and expresses original human nature of which education should begin from considering. The theatre for education in nature differentiates from professional theatre. To compare with professional theatre which aims at artistic outcome, the theatre, named educational theatre, places its final goal at education. Then it plays a part as teaching/learning medium. However, someone takes its aim at professional theatre work. It might be very dangerous for education which sets its goal to maximize student`s creativity. Professional work atmosphere in a sense may reduce the future of child whose growth is considered as more valuable. Because of being different each other essentially, professional theatre technique itself can not be directly put into practice for educational theatre. The direct application of professional theatre idea often brings about the problems of leaving hurt in some educational process. The essential quality of educational theatre should come from educational level, maximizing human growth, but not from professional artistic level, focusing on the audience. The purpose of the educational theatre might be found from educational medium rather than theatre art itself. The technique of educational theatre are classified into various groups by forms. There are three major kinds of educational theatre forms: Theatre-in-Education, Drama-in-Education, Creative Drama. In addition, six more forms, Children`s Theatre, Dramatic Play, Role Playing, Play Making, Participation Theatre, Developmental Drama, are made efficient use in practice.

The discharge characteristics of a open dielectric structure, especially such as a firing voltage and related wall voltage, were investigated by measuring the Vt close curve. The open dielectric structure could easily produce the discharge between the scan and the sustain electrodes by erasing the dielectric layer between two electrodes. Due to the changes in the discharge firing characteristics of the open dielectric structure between the scan and the sustain electrodes, the conventional reset waveform including the address waveform needed to be modified. Based on the Vt close curve analysis, the modified driving waveform suitable for the open dielectric structure was proposed and examined under the 42 inch AC PDP.
