The purpose of this study is to analyze the adequacy of production capacity of the assembly process system of mobile bath vehicle’s top box panel and process design through a simulation analysis. Towards this end, the layout of the facility designed with pre-verification job using a simulation modeling and an experiment, and facility, logistics process, and personnel input method were made into a simulation model, and the design system’s adequacy was evaluated through an experiment. To produce 120 mobile bath vehicles annually, it was analyzed that 14 general workers and seven skilled workers were adequate through the experiment. It was also identified that three painting process lines carried out through outsourcing were adequate. Production lead time was 201.7 hours on average and it was 230 hours maximum. To meet customer delivery service level of 95% within the deadline when establishing a customer order and vehicle delivery plan, it was analyzed that more than 215 hours of lead time is needed minimum. If the process cycle time is reduced to 85% upon system stabilization and skillfulness improvement, it was analyzed that annual output of 147 vehicles can be achieved without additional production line expansion.
반도체 광증폭기로 형성된 방향성 결합기에서의 파장변환 특성 모델링

파장변환 소자는 최근에 급격히 발전하는 광네트웍을 구축하기 위한 필수적인 소자로서 여러 가지 형태에 대한 연구개발이 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서도, 최근에는 광증폭기로 형성된 방향성 결합기 구조에서의 상호 위상변조(XPM: Cross Phase Modulation)에 의한 파장변환에 대한 개념이 제안되고 가능성이 실험적으로 입증된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 연산자 분리 방법을 적용하여 상승한 파장변환기를 해석하기에 적당하도록 시영역 동적 모델을 구현하고, 파장변환 특성을 여러 기지 면에서 분석하여 보았다. 모델링 결과는 다른 연 구자의 실험 결과를 잘 설명할 수 있음을 보였으며, 실험에서 제시되지 않았던 신호광과 변환된 광파가 역방향으로 진행하는 경우의 파장변환 특성 등에 대해서도 이 파장변환기가 잘 동작함을 보였다. 주파수 처핑의 경우 광펄스의 시작과 끝점 모두에서 정처핑과 부처핑이 동시에 발생함을 보았다. Wavelength conversion devices are essential to build an expanding all-optical network, and various types of wavelength conversion techniques are being researched. Among them, wavelength conversion based on the cross phase modulation in a directionally coupled semiconductor optical amplifier has been introduced and the concept has been experimentally proved. In this paper, a split-step method is applied to properly model the mentioned wavelength converter in the time-domain and various characteritics have been analyzed. It is shown that the present modeling approach can explain the results of the reported experimental results. Furthermore the wavelength conversion is shown to be well performed when the input signal wave and the converted wave travels in the opposite direction. The simulation shows that the positive and negative chirping appear simultaneously at both the leading and trailing edges of the optical pulse.

The authors have developed a reading & writing textbook for engineering students to improve their communication capability, and also analyzed the outcomes that the students accomplished through the Engineering Reading and Writing class. The reading & writing textbook has been organized to be used as a guidebook with which the engineering students can practically solve the problems that they would face continuously after they finish their regular curriculum and when they are employed. The questionnaire survey analysis has been performed in order to evaluate the textbook contents, lecturing, and learning outcomes for the lecturers and students finished the engineering reading and writing classes. Desirable evaluation has been resulted in the broad areas: subject extraction from the readings, logical understanding, summarizing, practical writing, writing principle, etc.
마찰용접을 이용한 고강도 쇼크업소버 베이스 어셈블리의 제조 기술 개발

The shock absorber base assembly is one of the parts in the shock absorber equipment that controls the vehicle movement. It absorbs the shock and vibration to guarantee riding stability and comfort. It demands strength, reliability and strict airtightness of the welded section because the shock absorber base assembly is a container which resists pressure and needs durability by being filled with gas and oil. However, the current engineering needs a lot of production time, has a high cost and shows a low production rate. These problem due to the eight production processes, four of which are spot welding, reinforcement welding like metal active welding (MAG), prior process of the base assembly cap and tube for precision and pressing. We will analyze the manufacturing processes of the base assembly and suggest an improved manufacturing method that uses frictional welding. The results will show that the new method of the frictional welding is better than the previous welding technique. Through the use of this concept of frictional welding, the welding conjunction will be strengthened, measurements will be more precise, and the cost and the number of processes will be reduced.

N/A Objectives: The purpose of our study was to evaluate the effects of transdermal 17β -estradiol gel combined with oral progestogen in terms of serum lipid, bone markers and bone mineral density in Korean postmenopausal women Subjects and methods: Nine healthy postmenopausal women were asked to volunteer for pharmacokinetic analysis of estradiol gel. Subjects received daily application of 1.5 ㎎ of estrogen gel in the morning. Peripheral venous samples were drawn at 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 24, 48, 72 hours after the daily gel application and serum E2 levels were analyzed. 41 postmenopausal women with intact uterus and no menstruation for more than 12 months were treated with 1.5 ㎎ of estradiol gel (day 1-25) sequentially combined with 2.5㎎ of medroxyprogesterone acetate (day 16-25) orally for 1 year. Results: Although one volunteer showed increment of serum E2 one hour after application of estrogen gel, pharmacokinetic study showed increase of serum E2 after 24 hours in the most volunteers. The mean serum E2 level at 72 hour after application was 59.6±58.8 pg/㎖. The acceptability of the combined treatment was 73.2%. Only 1 (3.3%) woman complained skin irritation during treatment. The combined estradiol gel and oral progestogen therapy significantly decreased serum cholesterol levels by 7.8%, LDL by 8.5%. Markers of bone turnover significantly decreased 3 months after treatment. The increase of the annual percent change in bone density was 4.8% at the lumbar spine and 4.4% at the femoral neck. Conclusion: The combined estradiol gel with oral progestogen therapy is acceptable and effective treatment in postmenopausal women.
쇽옵서버 피스톤로드 제조공정에 대한 공정관리 시스템 개발

쇽옵서버 피스톤로드(shock absorber piston rod)는 자동차의 충격과 진동의 흡수에 작용하는 자동차 현가장치(sus-pension equipment)부품의 일종이다. 피스톤로드는 자동차 충격흡수에 매우 밀접한 영향을 주기 때문에 제조에 있어서 고도의 정밀도와 표면 매끄러움이 요구된다. 피스톤로드의 제조공정은 선삭, 홈가공, 밀링, 건조 등 여러 공정으로 구성되는데, 여기서 품질불량에 가장 크게 영향을 주는 공정은 선삭공정(lathing process)이다. 이는 선삭공정의 가공공구(insert component)가 주원인으로서 반복되는 가공으로 인한 공구의 마모(abrasion)나 파손(breakage)이 주요 원인으로 지적되고 있다. 따라서 가공 데이터를 수집 분석하여 공구의 교체 시기를 파악한다거나 가공 부품의 측정 데이터가 관리도 상하한선 내에 있는지 등 가공 공정 전반에 대한 체계적인 공정관리 시스템 개발이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 쇽업서버 피스톤로드 제조공정의 가공 정보를 체계적으로 수집하여 관리하고 분석하는 자동차 쇽업서버 피스톤로드 제조공정에 대한 공정관리시스템을 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 개발결과 피스톤 로드의 측정 치수 변화 및 불량발생을 측정, 감지할 수 있었으며, 본 시스템을 통해 가공공구의 치수오차를 보정(compensation)하고 공정의 불량발생을 조기에 방지 함으로써 불량률은 1/5로 정감하고 작업자 수도 1/2로 감소시킬 수 있었다.

N/A In order to assess the sensitivity and positive predictive value of ultrasonographic diagnosis of clonor- chiasis, we performed a retrospective analysis of 73 patients who were examined by ultrasonography and stool examination (EPD; Egg per day) and diagnosed as having clonorchiasis by one or both of the above examinations from Jan. 1985 thru Mar. 1987. Forty patients showed positive findings on ultrasonography and stool examination, 26 patients only on stool examination and 7 patients only on ultrasonography. When we acknowledged eggs in the stool as a confirmative diagnosis of clonorchiasis, the sensitivity of ultrasonography was 60.6% and the positive predictive value was 85.1% Thus, abdominal ultrasonography is thought to be a highly reliable method of diagnosis of clonorchiasis, but is inadequate as a screening method for the detection of patients with clonorchiasis.
