징벌에 관한 기존의 논의는 주로 인권보장 관점에서, 공정한 징벌이 무엇인지에 관해이루어져 왔으며, 이것은 수용자 입장에서, 실체법 중심으로 논의되었다는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 징벌은 기본적으로 개별처우의 작용이기 때문에, 교도관과 수용자 관계의역동성에 관한 이해에 기반을 두지 않은, 학술적 연구로서는 위반행위와 징벌의 실마리를 푸는 것은 한계가 있어 보인다. 따라서 여기에서는 역동성에 대한 이해를 위해 명령과 보고체계, 비공식적 해결, 현장근무자의 지위, 수용자 문화와 같은 현장의 업무현실에 대한 심도 있는 접근을 시도하였다. 이를 위해 징벌절차에 관해 미국의 문헌자료와우리나라의 실무를 소개하고, 수용자 징벌과 관련한 기존 연구의 공통쟁점을 추려서 징벌의 due process에 대한 시사점을 발견하려고 노력하였으며, 징벌제도의 주요절차를개관하고 기존연구에서 지적된 문제점을 검토하고 대안을 제시하여 교정 업무현장에서참고할 수 있도록 하였으며, 가설로서 새로운 징벌모델을 제안하였다. It is true that the conventional debates on the discipline were mainly focused on the perspective of the human rights with regard to what should fair discipline be, and this indicates that discipline was mostly discussed by the approach of substantive law and spectrum of inmate. But discipline in correctional facility works, essentially, individualized treatment of inmates, it seems to be no longer possible to find a resolution of discipline and rule infraction, if we continue to remain the approach of academic research rather than the approach of dynamics between staff and inmate. So this dissertation explored some in-depth approach of work site practice such as the status of correctional work site staff, informal resolution, chain of command and report, inmate culture, etc. In this regard, this study introduces Korea and U.S practices making a effort to address the procedural problems and this, on the one hand, summarized common issue of the previous literature related to the inmate discipline and find out its implications on due process of the discipline. On the other hand, this presents a detailed due process manual that is a reference for correctional work sites concerning investigation and punishment that may occur in correctional facilities.
주파수역에서 피드백시스템의 성능향상을 위한 제어기 Auto-tuning기법

Controller refinement scheme to improve the performance of a conventional system automatically in frequency domain is proposed. The controller automatic tuning method features using experimental frequency responses of the conventional closed-loop system, the conventional controller, and the improved closed-loop system, instead of poorly modeled plant due to non-linearities and disturbances. The improved closed-loop system characteristics is automatically acquired by the conventional closed-loop system characteristics and the proposed performance index in system bandwidth. And the proper controller is realized by least squares approximation in frequency domain. To testify the usefulness of the approach, the path tracking control of robot arm is performed. Experimental results and analytic results am well-matched.
RRR Characteristics for SRF Cavities

The first heavy ion accelerator is being constructed by the rare isotope science project (RISP) launched by the Institute of Basic Science (IBS) in South Korea. Four different types of superconducting cavities were designed, and prototypes such as a quarter-wave resonator (QWR), a half-wave resonator (HWR) and a single-spoke resonator (SSR) were fabricated. One of the critical factors determining the performances of superconducting cavities is the residual resistance ratio (RRR). The RRR values essentially represent how pure niobium is and how fast niobium can transmit heat. In general, the RRR degrades during electron beam welding due to impurity incorporation. Thus, it is important to maintain the RRR above a certain value at which a niobium cavity shows target performance. In this study, RRR degradation related with electron beam welding conditions, for example, the welding power, welding speed, and vacuum level, will be discussed.
