Objective : Trying to provide the basic materials about tactile perception training by figuring out if tactile perception is affected by the existence of vision after comparing tactile perception ability between blind and normal. Methods : Conducted this experiment on 9 blind who are registered in association of blind, and 7 normal in the age of 70s and 9 normal people in the age of 20s - total of 25 people. For the preliminary examination, I measured the cognitive function to select the subject. For the tactile perception ability, two point discrimination, tactile discrimination and texture discrimination were measured. SPSS Ver. 18.0 was used for the static analysis; ANOVA and LSD post analysis were used to compare tactile perception ability and to make a descriptive statistics. Results : For the two point discrimination, blind in 70s resulted to have better perception than normal in 70s and 20s(p<.05). For the tactile discrimination in ulnar, it was found out that the blind in 70s perceive better than the normal of 70s but worse than the normal in 20s(p<.05). Also, normal in 20s had better perception than normal in 70s. In radius, there was no difference between blind and normal in 70s(p>.05), but worse than normal in 20s(p<.05). Also, the perception of normal in 20s is better than the perception normal in 70s(p<.05). For the texture discrimination, there was no difference in perceiving the front side of leather(p>.05), but blind in 70s perceive the back of leather better than the normal in the 20s. Conclusion : There was difference in tactile perception ability between normal and blind. Thus, when tactile perceiving training, I will provide the basic materials about task application depending on the existence of vision.

To make curved-panel blocks in shipbuilding, the pre-formed panels and the additional profiles are assembled on the height-adjustable pin jigs by laborious manual welding operations. For this reason, it is usually not easy to systemically control the block assembly process, which eventually hinders accurate assembly process planning and spatial scheduling. This paper proposes a novel method to monitor the block assembly process using overhead crane operation data. Difficulties lie in (i) the identification of the correct assembly area of a curved-panel block in a shop floor and its corresponding block ID and (ii) the assembly progress estimation. To tackle these issues, we extract the loading/unloading position and panels’ weight data from the overhead cranes. This information is then scrutinized for assembly progress monitoring. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

Vehicle vibration characteristics at idle were improved when cylinder spark timing was controlled individually. New EMS logic applied to this study calculates cylinder-specific engine roughness and then advances or retards cylinder spark timing individually according to the calculated value of engine roughness. As cylinder spark timing was correcting, C0.5 vibrations at idle which are related to 1 cylinder torque imbalance were attenuating as well as overall engine roughness was. This result indicates that the new logic can be used as an effective way to reduce idle torque imbalance between cylinders at little additional cost.
중국어 상용한자 3500자의 한글 음절 표기에 대한 음운론적 연구

이 글은 이른바 중국어의 표기 문자인 상용한자 3500자를 성조(tone) 부호가 표시된 한글로 어떻게 음절식 표기를 할 것인가에 대한 음운론적, 운율론적 연구의 결과물이다. 인간의 언어수행은 시간적으로 연속된, 의미를 띤 심리적 음절에 운소가 얹혀 이 음절들이 분할되면서 뫼비우스띠 형상을 한 물리적 운율을 형성하는 것이라고 가정해 볼 때, ‘한글운율문법’은 복층(2층)구조화되어있는 이 세상 7,000종 모든 언어의 1층의 음절들은 ‘한글’ 문자(훈민정음)로 음절식 표기를 하고, 2층의 운율은 오선지 위에 음표 및 쉼표로 표시할 수 있는 새 언어이론이라고 할 수 있겠다. 이 ‘한글운율문법’ 이론에 따라, 성조언어인 중국어의 한자들을 한글로 ‘형태음소적 음절표기’를 하고, 성조가 얹혀서 분할된 이 물리적 음절들(음소적 음절표기)이 이루는 운율의 정보를 오선지 위에 음표를 그려 제공함으로써 우리 한국인들이 중국어를 빠른 시간 안에 잘 습득할 수 있는 길이 열리게 되었다. King Sejong"s Korean alphabet (Hangul Unicode (Hangul Jamo)) can accurately, syllabically transcribe all estimated seven thousand languages in this world used by its 7.4 billion population. In this thesis my "tone coded Hangul" text can perfectly transcribe the 3500 Chinese Characters. We can use the "Hangul Prosody" as a basis for new education reforms. Reforms will include "restructuring of foreign language education in schools," "revolutionary education methodology, and "periodic training of teachers on using the new instruction methods." Hangul Prosody: 1) First Hangul Rhythm Law-Speech sound combines with vowel phonemes which have long pronunciation times, and consonant phonemes which have short pronunciation times to create 4 types of beat syllables: 1. V type (vowel only). 2. CV type (consonant + vowel). 3. VC type (vowel + consonant) 4. CVC type (consonant + vowel + consonant). The combination of these short-sounding consonants and longer-sounding vowels to create the "beat syllable" is the First Hangul Rhythm Law. 2) Second Hangul Rhythm Law-Vowels and consonants make up the syllable, which acts as the beat. The syllable then physically coordinates with other syllables to create Times of longer time lengths. This process is the Second Hangul Rhythm Law. 3) Third Hangul Rhythm Law-Beat syllables are imbued with semantic functions such as accent, tone, length, and feature. Beat syllables of equal Time lengths gather in one"s, two"s, three"s, four"s... ten"s in a process called "grouping." Grouping creates natural physical sounds leading into "melody rhythm intonation". This overall process is called the Third Hangul Rhythm Law.

본 논문에서는 VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) 시스템을 대상으로 부분부하에서 보다 효율적인 운전을 위한 냉매 증발온도 제어 알고리즘을 개발하고 그 효과를 실험을 통해 검토하였다. VRF 시스템은 실 건물에서 그 성능을 정확히 측정하지 못하는 문제를 고려하여 실내온도 변화 추이 및 실내온도와 설정온도와의 차를 이용하여 실내 부하를 예측하는 방안을 고안하고 이를 바탕으로 냉매증발온도를 선정하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 알고리즘을 실 건물에 적용하기에 앞서 외부 환경을 재현하는 outdoor chamber와 실내환경을 재현하는 indoor chamber로 구성된 multi calorimeter에서 냉매증발온도와 실내기 운전대수 변화에 따른 시스템의 성능 및 효율 변화를 측정 실험을 통해 알고리즘의 효과를 간접적으로 분석하였다. 결과, 부분 부하 조건에서 Thermo off로 인한 실질적인 실내기 운전대수 감소를 고려한 냉매증발온도 제어의 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.
최근 10년간 장기연속관측에 근거한 부산항 신항 인근 해역의 파랑특성

부산항 신항 인근 해역에서 10년간 파랑 장기 관측을 수행하고, 주요한 파랑 특성을 분석하였다. 부산항 신항은 S계열 파랑이 연중 우세하며, 겨울철에는 거제도 북부 해역에서 발달하는 W계열 파랑이 이에 상응하는 정도로 나타나는 계절적 변동성이 뚜렷이 나타났다. 관측기간 중 유의파고는 대부분 1 m 이하였으나 2003년 9월 태풍 매미 내습 시 최대 유의파고 7.4 m가 관측되었다. 또한, 7월을 제외하고는 계절적 변동성은 거의 없었다. 반면에, 유의파 주기는 평균파향의 영향으로 뚜렷한 계절적 변동성을 나타내었으며, 첨두주기는 여름철에 4~5초, 겨울철에는 3초 내외에 분포하였다. 유의파주기 최대값은 2003년 6월에 관측된 15.56초였다. 한편, 평균파향, 유의파고 및 유의파주기 모두 연별 변동성은 나타나지 않았다. 남측으로 약 4.5 km 떨어진 대죽도 남측 해역에서 5년간 관측된 자료도 함께 분석하여 여름철에는 두 지점 간 높은 상관관계가 존재하는 반면 겨울철에는 그렇지 않음을 확인하였다. Long-term wave observation was carried out near Busan New Port and the major wave characteristics were analyzed. At Busan New Port, waves from south direction were predominant throughout the year, while waves from the west, developed at the north sea of Geoje island, appeared almost the same frequency in winter season, showing apparent seasonal variation. During the observation period, the significant wave height was mostly less than 1 m, but it reached its maximum of 8.0 m when typhoon Maemi passed on September 2003. Also, the seasonal variation was hardly observed except July. In contrast, seasonal variation was apparent for the significant wave period, whose peak ranges 4~5 s in summer whereas about 3 s in winter. The largest significant wave period was 15.56 s, observed on June 2003. Meanwhile, the annual variation was negligible for mean wave direction as well as significant wave height and period. Further analysis of the wave data acquired for 5 years at 4.5 km south, in the south sea of Daejuk island, confirmed high correlation between the two observation points in summer and vice versa in winter.
