This study looked at the effects on the trunk muscle strength and the oswestry disability index(ODI) of modes of waist-hip exercise (static stability, dynamic stability, weight), after a patient was operated by percutaneous endoscopic discectomy. Furthermore, this study was implemented to provide necessary supporting data for designing a desirable future rehabilitation and exercise program for the patient with the percutaneous endoscopic discectomy, reaching the conclusions as below. 1. Trunk Muscle Strength As for the changes in trunk muscle strength by angle when measuring with the Centaur, the differences between periods per group have shown that all the three groups - static stability exercise, dynamic stability exercise and weight exercise - the trunk muscle strength on both sides increased more significantly (p<.001) after exercise than before exercise, while no significant differences were present between groups per period. 2. The Oswestry Disability Index(ODI) In the differences between periods per group, all the three groups - static stability exercise, dynamic stability exercise and weight exercise - turned out to show reduction, 4, 8 and 12 weeks after exercise, more significantly (p<.001) than before exercise. In the differences between groups per period, on the other hand, the weight exercise group released a significantly lower figure(p<.05) 12 weeks after exercise than both groups of static and dynamic stability exercise. As examined above, different exercise programs were implemented separately, which consequently showed that, after the percutaneous endoscopic discectomy applied to a patient with extreme lateral lumbar disc herniation, those programs - the static, dynamic stability exercise and the weight exercise program - had positive effects on DITI-based trunk muscle strength the passage of time. However, this study failed to provide the most effective exercise mode among the programs by exercise mode. Therefore, we see it necessary to apply continuing, systematic and objective exercise programs, and to add the realization of data standardization to use as objective clinical data, by designing multiple methods of measurement for the patients related.
유도선수의 단기간 과다 체중감량이 경기 후 신체조성과 면역기능에 미치는 영향

This research applied the short-term diet control and training program to target the seven Judo professionals who often reduce weight in a short period of time and seven members of the social club who have no experience with excessive weight reduction in order to analyze immunity function in the body after a match and the excessive short-term weight reduction. The following conclusions were reached. 1. Change in the physical formation 1) As for the change in the weight, it decreased significantly in the two groups during the excessive reduction period, but it increased significantly due to the moisture absorption after five minute-long match, resulting from excessive reduction(after six days). There was no change in case of recovery period. 2) As for the change in the amount of muscle, it decreased significantly for the two groups during excessive reduction period, but there was no change after five minute-long match in case of excessive reduction (after six days). 3) As for the change in the amount of body fat and body fat rate, they decreased significantly for the two groups during excessive reduction period. As for the excessive reduction(after six days), it increased after five minute-long match due to moisture absorption. There was no change in case of group of Judo professionals during recovery period, but it increased significantly in the group comprised of aficionados. 2. Change in the immunity function 1) As for the changes in the IgA, IgG and IgM, they were high for the group of Judo professionals during excessive reduction period, but there was no significant change in the group comprised of aficionados. In the two groups, they were high after five minute-long match for the excessive reduction (after six days), and they were low during recovery period. 2) As for the change in the IgD, it was high in the two groups during excessive reduction period, but there was no change during recovery period after five minute-long match when it comes to the excessive reduction (after six days). However, it was significantly high after excessive reduction, after a match and during recovery period in the group of Judo professionals compared to the group comprised of aficionados. The above mentioned results show that the Judo professionals in Korea can reduce weight excessively in a short period of time, with in 6-7% of the weight. However, when this weight reduction is continued for a long time, this can cause abnormal state. Thus, when the short-term weight reduction continues, it can exert negative impact immunity functions. Although there are differences in case of the Judo professionals depending on the individuals physical state and characteristics when it comes to the excessive short-term weight reduction, excessive weight reduction can produce negative results when it comes to the improvement of competition ability and on the condition before competition as well as competition ability. Result of this research will be leveraged, to produce important base data for conducting additional research to ensure improvement of competition ability when professionals exercise, following the scientific reduction method and appropriate short and long term periods for weight reduction.
플라스틱을 활용한 업사이클링(Up-cycling) 주얼리 디자인 연구

연구배경 오늘날 현대인들은 플라스틱이 없는 삶을 상상하기 힘들 정도로 다양한 분야에서 사용하고 있다. 하지만 플라스틱이 재활용되지 않고 폐기되어 바다로 흘러들어가서 환경오염을 발생시키고 있다. 이런 상황의 해결방안으로 나타난 업사이클링이 친환경적 트렌드가 되어 다양한 분야에 영향을 미치면서 패션 및 주얼리 분야에서도 폐플라스틱을 소재로 사용하여 많은 제품들이 만들어지고 있다. 연구방법 업사이클링의 이론적 배경을 알아보고 업사이클링 디자인에 있어 사용되는 소재를 알아본다. 폐플라스틱을 소재로 한 업사이클링 사례 및 방법에 대해 살펴보아 제작할 수 있는 방법을 찾아본다. 플라스틱 소재의 이론적 배경과 성형 기법에 대하여 알아보고 기존의 제작 방식을 보완하고 접착제를 사용하지 않는 방식을 고찰하여 플라스틱 소재를 사용한 업사이클링 주얼리 제작을 연구하고자 한다. 연구결과 기존의 업사이클링 제작 방식을 보완하고 금속과 비접착 결합 방식을 사용하며, 열을 이용한 접착제 비사용 방법을 활용하여 플라스틱을 재사용할 수 있음으로 폐플라스틱에 새로운 가치를 부여하는 멜팅 기법을 도출하여 업사이클링 주얼리를 제작하였다. 결론 폐플라스틱을 열을 이용하여 원하는 형태와 색으로 만들어 보석처럼 사용함으로써 소재에 대한 새로운 표현방법을 보여주었다. 주얼리라는 아이템에 폐플라스틱과 재활용이라는 주제를 결합하여 환경문제를 전달하고 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있을 것이다. Background Today, it is hard to imagine the life without plastics since plastics are used in various fields. However, plastics are not being recycled but discarded, and flowing into the sea causing environmental pollution. Up-cycling, a solution to this situation, has become an eco-friendly trend, influencing in various fields. Especially in fashion and jewelry field, plenty of products are being made using waste plastics as material. Methods Learn the theoretical backgrounds of Up-cycling and the materials used for up-cycling design. Find out the way how to make up-cycling products by exploring several examples that use waste-plastics as material. Research the theoretical backgrounds of plastic materials and its forming techniques to study how to make Up-cycling jewelery using plastic materials without using glue. Result Up-cycling jewelry is made with melting technique to complement existing Up-cycling production methods. It is possible to reuse plastics by appling non- adhesive bonding method with metal and not using glue but using heat instead. This gives new value to waste plastics. Conclusion This study has showed a new way of enhancing the utilization of material by using waste plastics as gemstone, that it can be made into the desired shapes and colors using heat. It is expected to bring high-added value and communicate environmental issues by combining the subject, waste plastics and re-cycling, on jewelry item.
