This paper addresses on the determination of damping coefficients of an infinitely long squeeze film damper operating with an electro-rheological (ER) fluid. The ER fluid behaves as Bingham fluid with an electric field dependent yield shear stress. AS phenomenological model of the fluid is adopted for the relationship between the yield shear and the intensity of the electric field imposed on the fluid domain. The model is then incorporated with the governing equation and associated boundary conditions of the squeeze film damper executing a circula centered orbit for the expression of dimension- less damping coefficients. Numerical simulation is performed to evaluate the performance improvement of the proposed squeeze film damper.

집열온도가 높은 PTC 집열기를 이용하는 흡수식 태양열 냉ㆍ난방 시스템에 대한 성능분석과 Parametric study를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 소형 태양열 구동 흡수식 냉동기에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해서 작동특성 및 성능을 파악하였다. 전체적인 시스템 분석은 TRNSYS(Transient Simulation Program)를 이용하였으며, TRNSYS에 없거나 보완이 필요한 몇가지 요소(Component) 즉, 흡수식 냉동기, PTC 집열기 등에 대해서는 별도의 부 프로그램을 만들어 TRNSYS의 하나의 모듈로 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 이 TRNSYS Deck는 태양열 냉방시스템을 설계하고 분석하는데 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. A performance analysis and parametric study on the solar absorption cooling and heating system using PTC solar collector are performed. A small absorption chiller driven by solar thermal energy is also investigated by numerical simulation for this study. TRNSYS Program is used for the analysis of complete system. Some specific component like as PTC solar collector and absorption chiller driven by solar energy are added into a standard TRNSYS library for this study. This TRNSYS deck developed in this study will be helpful for system design and evaluation of solar heating and cooling system.
추나요법을 적용한 후종인대골화증을 동반한 경추척추관협착증 환자의 경과관찰 1례

Objects : This study was to report a clinical effect of Korean Treatment for a patient diagnosed by Computed Tomography as Cervical Spinal Stenosis with Ossification of posterior Longitudinal Ligament. Methods : In order to alleviate left shoulder pain and neck stiffness, the patient was treated by acupuncture therapy, herbal medicine, distilled herbal injection, cervical traction technique of Chuna treatment and conservative managements. To evaluate the effect of the treatment, Recovery rate of Hirabayashi, VAS(Visual Anlaogue Scale), NDI and ROM(Range of Motion) were used. Lhermitte's sign, Valsalva test, Distraction test, Compression test and Spurling test were carried out. Results : VAS, NDI and ROM were improved and Recovery rate was 100%. Conclusions : Korean Treatment can be effectively used for a patient with Cervical Spinal Stenosis with OPLL. Further clinical studies are needed to verify the findings.
