Seven drivatives of 2,3-alkyl substituted aziridinecarboximidates were prepared from alkyl substituted alkene and cyanamide. Their ED50 values against L1210 cell in vitro were evaluated as 1.5 to 4 mcg/ml.

지난 9.11테러사건을 계기로 미국은 항공보안 대책 중 하나로 당시 33명밖에 없던 연방 에어먀살 요원을 조지 부시 대통령이 수천 명까지 대폭 증원하였다. 교육훈련과정을 개정하고 철저한 신원조회와 신체검사로 선발한 인원을 15주의 교육훈련을 통하여 사격술, 호신술, 체력단련 등을 숙시한 인원을 투입 중에 있다. 한편 우리나라도 2008년 미국과의 비자협정 조건을 충족시키기 위하여 객실승무원 중 항공기내 보안요원을 지정하여 운영 중에 있다. 하지만 형식적인 교육훈련을 받은 기내승무원들의 보안활동 능력의 실효성에 문제점이 있으며 최근 발생한 대한항공 램프리턴을 비롯한 크고 작은 항공보안사례는 우리 국적기의 항공보안의 위협을 간과할 수 없는 상황에 이르렀음이 증명되고 있다. 또한 역사적으로 우리는 고정간첩에 의한 3번의 납북시도와 1번의 기내폭파를 경험했고 최근 북한과의 대치상황의 긴장감은 더욱 증폭되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 현제 객실승무원에 의한 기내에서의 물리적 보안 대응체계를 제고해 볼 필요가 있으며 이 연구에서는 현재 항공승무원을 대상으로 국제적으로 가장 신뢰성이 높은 항공보안제도인 미국 에어마샬 제도의 국내 도입인식에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과 미국의 에어마샬제도 도입 찬성에 64.8%가 응답 하였으며 도입 찬성 견해를 범주화 하였을 때 현재 항공보안요원 업무의 서비스 비중이 높음(57.3%), 현재 항공기보안요원의 은밀성 부재(25.7%), 현재 항공보안요원 신분의 국가적 자격화 필요(17%)를 들었으며 미국의 에어마샬제도 도입 반대 견해를 범주화 하였을 때 국제 정세상 국내 항공산업은 안전함(43%), 현재 보안제도의 활용성 정비를 통한 안전성 확보 가능(35.2%), 국가적 차원에서 많은 경제적 비용 부담(21.8%)으로 미국 에어마샬제도 도입에 대한 인식을 검토해 볼 수 있었다. After September 11, Attack, President George W. Bush increased thousands of federal air marshal agents from 33 agents at that time. The training course was modified significantly. The federal air marshal agents are selected through a thorough background check and physical examination. They are thrown to the field through the hard training course of 15 weeks, including marksmanship, self-defense, fitness. Korea is designated for aviation security personnel from the flight cabin crew who have career more than three years in order to meet the conditions of the 2008 US visa agreement, but the present system that lacks secrecy and professionalism raises the problem of effectiveness. The cases of the large and small aviation security incidents, including Korea Air's ramp return known as "nuts rage", has been demonstrated tha a situation where we can not overlook the threat of aviation security of our national air line was reached. Historically, we have experienced three hijacking attempts and one in-flight bombing by North Korean spies. The recent tension of the confrontation with the North Korea are being amplified. Therefore, we need to rethink the current physical security response system on board by crew cabin. This study evaluated the domestic adoption of the US Air Marshall System, known as the most representative of the aviation security system in the world through the survey of the domestic air crew. The opinion in favor of domestic adoption of it is 64.8%. When the opinion in favor of it is categorized, the high service work portion of the current aviation security personnel is 57.3%, the lack of secrecy of security personnel is 25.7%, the need for national qualification of the current aviation security personnel is 17%. When the opposing view of domestic adoption of US Air Marshall System is categorized, the relative safey of domestic air industry is 43%, the possibility of safety assurance through complementing the current aviation security system is 35.2%, much financial burden on the nation level is 21.8%. We can review the awareness of the domestic adoption of the US Air Marshall system through this study.
N-Cyanoaziridine 유도체의 합성 및 항암효과 평가

Seven derivatives of 2,3-alkyl substituted N-cyanoaziridine were stereoselectively prepared from alkyl substituted alkenes and cyanamide. NMR spectral property and conformation of N-cyanoaziridine were analysed. Protons(3.34 ppm) at 2,3 position of N-cyanoaziridines are significantly deshielded in case of cyclopentyl fused N-cyanoaziridine. These protons are getting more anisotropically shielded with increasing the fused carbocycle size of N-cyanoaziridine. Therefore chemical shift for these protons are upfield shifted to 2.80 ppm in case of cyclooctyl fused N- cyanoaziridine. Their ED50 values aganist L1210 cell in vitro were evaluated as 0.5-8.0 mcg/ml. Conformation of carbocycle of fused N-cyanoaziridine is more important to their cytotoxicity than the increment of the strain energy of 3-membered ring.
중증 외상에서 Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS) 운동반응의 의의

Background: Severely injured patients need an optimal triage system that can differentiate those patients who require the resources of the trauma center from those who do not. American national guidelines recommend that patients with Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) scores less than 14 or triaged-Revised Trauma Score (t-RTS) less than 11 should be triaged to trauma centers. Although, in many studies, the GCS score has been shown to be the strongest single prognostic predictor in trauma patients, the presence of unmeasurable components of the GCS limits its usefulness. Also, it is difficult for emergency medical technicians to estimate the GCS in a prehospital setting because of its complexity and the shortage of time. This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of the motor component of the GCS in severely injured patients. We hypothesized that the motor component of the GCS (GCSM) would be equally sensitive as the total GCS in triage of severely injuried patients. Methods: We reviewed a total of 114 patient who visited the Emergency Center of Korea University Ansan Hospital between December 2001 and September 2002. Of those 114 patients, 36 were excluded because of inadequate medical records or visiting after cardiac arrest. The parameters that we used as tools for analysi, were age, sex, GCS score, RTS, Injury Severity Score (ISS), actual survival rate (As), and probable survival rate (Ps). We defined severely injured patients (t-RTS ≤11) requiring care in a trauma center or intensive care unit. Based on American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACSCOT) guidelines, we defined GCS ≤13 as positive triage by GCS, ISS ≥16 as positive triage by ISS, and GCSM ≤5 as positive triage by the motor component of GCS. The sensitivity and the specificity were calculated, and a statistical analysis by t-test was conducted with two-tail α levels of 0.05. Results: Of the 78 patients, the mean age was 44.7±2.2,and the mean ISS was 21.7±1.0. The GCSM was found to have a sensitivity of 85.7% and a specificity of 98.0% for t-RTS≤11. The GCS had a sensitivity of 89.3% and a specificity of 90.0% (p = not significant). Conclusion: Our results indicate that the motor component of GCS is a sensitive predictor of patients` poor prognosis and that the GCSM is equivalent to the GCS for prehospital triage. In view of the simplicity of the GCSM, its substitution for the GCS in triage systems might lead to a higher use rate among prehospital healthcare providers.

Background: Shock Index (SI) is a ratio calculated to weigh Heart rate and Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP) differently. As we know increased the SI over 0.9 is a early predictor of circulatory failure induced by hypovolemia. This study was designed to evaluate the SI as a value of prognostic factor in Hemmorrhagic Shock and Septic Shock patients. Methods: From March 2001 to February 2002, patients presenting to the Emergency department with post traumatic hemorrhagic shock and septic shock patients. Exclusion criteria were age less than 15 years, cardiopulmonary arrest and death on arrival. We compared with admission days, ICU periods, survival rate, Revised trauma score, Base excess, and total amounts of transfusion for evaluation of reliability. Two groups were identified by the SI: group1 had an SI of more than 0.9, and group2 had an SI of less than 0.9. Results: There were 29 hemmorrhagic shock patients, and 30 septic shock patiens. In hemorrhagic shock, group 1 had significantly higher value of compared items (p<0.05). In septic shock, the value were not significantly different between group1 and group 2 (p> 0.05). Conclusion: The SI may be useful to evaluate acute hemodynamic status induced by hypovolemia. But the SI cannot be useful to evaluate hemodynamic status induced by multiorgan dysfunction. The SI cannot be a predictor of prognosis in septic shock.

Multi-channel power supply system for the thermal control of the satellite inside the thermal vacuum chamber which simulates the orbit environment was established and tested. With a cold background simulating deep space by the thermal shroud filled with liquid nitrogen, the heat flux from the sun and earth is simulated by the heat injection into the patch-type heaters attached on the satellite surfaces from the power supply system. Totally 100 power supplies with 750 W (150 VDC, 5 A) capacity each were implemented and validated through the thermal balance test for structural and thermal model of low earth orbit satellite. In this paper, the development and validation results of multi-channel power supply system including hardware configuration, control logics, and safety concerns were described.
