The worldwide satellite system for search and rescue has been in operation since 1982 and has assisted in the rescue of thousands of lives in distress. Aviators, mariners and land users being equipped with distress beacons are capable of transmitting distress signals to the satellites in emergency situations anywhere in the world. This paper describes the configuration of the search and rescue satellite system, principles of its operation, and how the system is utilized to process the distress events. Also, this paper points out the importance of development of technologies of user equipment and proposes an experimental program for technology development using domestic satellites.

근래에 가공할만한 EMP무기의 출현과 전자기파의 초 고속화, 대용량의 전기값이 높아지면서 낙뢰나 전자기파(EMP, Electromagnetic Pulse)에 의해 서로 장비간의 전자기 적합성(EMC, Electromagnetic Compatibility)에 중대한 오류 및 매우 위험한 고장을 발생시킨다. 이에 전자기파 장애를 극복하기 위해 전원단자, 입출력 인터페이스 단자에 필터링 된 커넥터를 사용하여야한다. 불필요한 전자기파를 보다 효과적으로 차단하기 위해 고주파대역의 필터링 감쇠 특성을 최대한 확보하고자 본 논문에서는 항공용 EMP 필터의 개발 필요성과 파급효과에 관하여 연구하였다. Because of recent appearance of terrible EMP weapons and the trend of ultra high speed and large capacity of electricity values, it occurs important errors and very dangerous trouble at EMC between equipments by EMP or surge. Therefore, the filtered connector should be used at a power source terminal and I/O interface terminal to overcome electromagnetic pulse obstacles. We studied on improved effective method to keep a attenuation character to the utmost at high frequency for cut off unnecessary EMP Development Necessarty and Ripple Effect of Avionic EMP Filter in this paper.
빅 데이터를 이용한 뚜렛증후군 환자와 관련된 안과적 임상양상의 유병률 조사

목적: 뚜렛증후군 환자와 관련된 안과적 임상양상의 유병률을 빅 데이터를 이용해 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 국내에서 2012년 1월 1일부터 2016년 12월 31일까지 뚜렛증후군 진단코드(F95.2)를 받은 18세 이전의 환자들을 대상으로 하였다. 뚜렛증후군과 관련되었다고 보고된 안과적 임상 양상인 틱 장애, 눈꺼풀연축, 불수의적 주시 이상, 사시와 더불어 조사된 적이 없었던 약시와 굴절이상을 안과적 임상 코드로 선정하여 심평원에서 추출한 표본을 바탕으로 한 빅 데이터를 이용하여 빈도를 조사하였다. 결과: 총 3,643명의 뚜렛증후군 환자가 연구 대상으로 포함되었으며 남자가 2,777명, 여자가 866명이었고, 틱 장애는 3,643명(100%), 눈꺼풀연축 진단코드를 받은 환자 수는 48명(1.3%)이었으며 불수의적 주시 이상 진단코드는 9명(0.2%), 사시 진단 코드를 받은 환자수는 109명(3%)이었다. 또한, 약시 진단코드를 가진 환자수는 29명(0.8%)이었으며, 굴절이상 진단코드를 가진 환자수는 1,306명(35.8%)이었다. 결론: 뚜렛증후군은 여러 안과적 이상을 동반할 수 있으므로 신경정신과 의사와 안과의사의 협력과 정기적인 안과검진이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Purpose: To investigate the prevalence of ophthalmic manifestations in patients with Tourette syndrome using big data based on samples extracted from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. Methods: The study participants included Korean patients under the age of 18 years who had received a Tourette syndrome diagnostic code (F95.2) between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2016. Ophthalmic manifestations reported to be related to Tourette syndrome such as tic disorder, blepharospasm, involuntary gaze abnormality, and strabismus were selected as ophthalmic clinical diagnostic codes; amblyopia and refractive errors that had never been investigated in conjunction with Tourette syndrome were also selected. Prevalence was investigated using big data. Results: A total of 3,643 Tourette syndrome patients (2,777 men and 866 women) were included in the study. The number of patients receiving a tic disorder diagnostic code was 3,643 (100%); blepharospasm, 48 (1.3%); involuntary gaze abnormalities, 9 (0.2%); and strabismus, 109 (3%). In addition, the number of patients receiving an amblyopia diagnostic code was 29 (0.8%), and the number of patients with a refractive errors code was 1,306 (35.8%). Conclusions: Tourette syndrome can be accompanied by several ophthalmic manifestations. Thus, cooperation between a neuropsychiatrist and an ophthalmologist, and regular ophthalmological examinations, are considered necessary.
Reduction Method of Acoustic Vibrating Plate Using Piezo Electric Material

Acoustic response control of a corner-pinned plate using piezoelectric wafers was studied, both theoretically and experimentally Three different sizes of aluminum alloy plates were used and available ball joints were employed to hold the plate at the four corners. The plate with the largest aspect ratio showed the largest and most clear responses to the acoustic excitation in the range of frequencies (0∼200 Hz), and sound pressure levels (80∼100 dB) as predicted. The reduction of the acoustic response of the plate by piezoelectric actuator was very significant, more than expected, but abatement of the sound transmission through the plate was only slightly altered by the piezoelectric actuator. This work is an original work extending earlier work with doors excited by acoustic fields. The important difference is the used of ball joints to simulate the joints.
ELT(Emergency Locator Transmitter) 운용을 위한 낙하 충격 및 추락생존성 시험에 대한 수치 해석적 연구

비상위치송신기(ELT)는 무수한 조난시의 응급구조에 큰 역할을 해왔다. 비행사, 항해사 그리고 지상 사용자들은 세상 어디에서든지 비상시에 조난신호를 위성에 송신이 가능한 장치를 갖추고 있는 것이다. 이 논문에서는 비상위치송신기의 본체를 낙하충격에 대하여 MSC/Dytran을 이용하여 해석하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 Karas’ Example 이론 결과에 비교하였다. 또한, 추락생존성 시험에 대해 MSC/Nastran을 이용해 해석하였다. 비상위치송신기의 충격조건하에 과도응답해석을 하였다. In this paper, Drop/Impact simulation was performed for ELT Body-case. FE model for Body-case was constructed with MSC/Dytran and refined using the Karas example simulation for Body-ease prototype. Shock/impact survivability analysis was performed for ELT operations. FE model constructed with MSC/Nastran. Transient response analysis for refined ELT model was perfomed for ELT under impact shock loading condition.
