There appeared enhancements of the conversion of methane by adding a small amount of CO in the aromatization reaction of methane using the Mo-zeolite catalyst. In case of adding CO_2, CO_2 changed to CO first, and then the conversion reaction occurred. It was observed by using isotopes as reactants that CO is related to the aromatization reaction of methane.

A mathematical model is proposed to simulate the current density and the temperature distribution of molten carbonate unit fuel cell. In this model, conversion of gases, heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation, and heat generation by reaction were considered for the cross and the parallel flow type fuel cell. Additionally, the effects of the gas flow rate and the ratio of the flow rate of the cathode gas to that of the anode gas were studied. It was seen that the current density distribution was affected by the anode gas, while the temperature distribution by the cathode gas. It was also found that, in order to get an uniform temperature distribution, the ratio of the flow rate of the cathode gas to that of the anode gas should be around 0.25.

A mathematical model is proposed to simulate the effect of variables on cell performances of molten carbonate unit fuel cell at the constant temperature. Values of the total cell resistance calculated with twice of the Arrhenius constant in the equation of anode resistance, presented in the reference, agreed well with experimental data. On the basis of these results, numerical calculations of the effects of current density, the gas utilization(i.e. flow rate), gas compositions, and cell temperature on the cell performances were compared with experimental data[1]. At the constant temperature, numerical calculations of the effects of operating variables on the cell performances, such as voltage and power, were agreed well with experimental data.
Peng - Robinson 식을 이용한 초임계 상거동 모사에서의 혼합규칙의 경험적 변수에 관한 연구

두 초임계 시스템 CO₂-anisole, CO₂-tetralin의 상거동에 Peng-Robinson식을 적용하였다. 두 시스템에 대한 상평형의 계산치를 문헌상의 실험치에 접근시킴으로써 Peng-Robinson식 중의 매개변수값을 계산할 때 혼합물인 경우 이용하는 혼합규칙 중의 경험적 변수를 구하였다. 시스템의 온도의 변화에 따른 이들 경험적 변수의 경향을 추적하였다. 경험적 변수는 온도의 변화에 따라 선형적으로 변화하였다. Peng-Robinson equation was applied to two supercritical systems of CO₂-anisole and CO₂-tetralin. For the two supercritical systems calculated phase equilibrium data were fitted to experimental data in the references. In the data fitting processes, values of mixture parameters of the mixing rule, which were used in the Peng-Robinson equation, were obtained. Trends of the mixture parameters of the mixing rule, which change with temperature of the system, were studied. Mixture parameters changed linearly with temperature.
