In this paper, the frequency detector which detects the clock frequency of the embedded system is proposed and analyzed. The proposed frequency detector is consisted of filter and peak voltage detector. The clock signal is converted from square wave to triangular wave by the filter. The peak voltage of the triangular wave is determined according to the frequency response of filter. The peak voltage detector detects and holds the peak voltage of the signal. Moreover, the proposed clock frequency detector can detect the frequency within 1ms and it gives guarantee of real-time operation.
Design and Implementation of a Current-balancing Circuit for LED Security Lights

This paper presents a current-balancing circuit for security lights that uses parallel-connected LEDs. The parallel connection of LEDs causes current differences between the LED strings because of characteristic deviations. These differences can reduce the lifespan of a particular point of LEDs by thermal spotting. They can also cause non-uniform luminance of the lighting device. Among the different methods for solving these problems, the method using current-balancing transformers makes it easy to compensate for current differences and it has a simple circuitry. However, while the balancing transformer has been applied to AC light sources, LEDs operate on a DC source, so the driving circuitry and the design method have to be changed and their performances must be verified. Thus in this paper, a design method of the balancing transformer network and the driving circuitry for LEDs is proposed. The proposed design method could have a smaller size than the conventional design method. The proposed circuitry is applied to three types of 100-watt LED security lights, which use different LEDs. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the designed driving circuits.

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among lifestyle, leisure recognition and leisure satisfaction. The study surveyed 462 subjects who have participated in various leisure activities and processed the result using SPSS for Win V. 10.0. For statistical analysis, Frequency, Factor Analysis and Regression were put into operation. As a result of the Factor Analysis of lifestyle, six factors(accomplishment pursuit type, safety pursuit type, knowledge pursuit type, health pursuit type, satisfaction pursuit type, ostentation pursuit type) have been extracted. The result of the Factor Analysis of recognition of leisure revealed six factors(self-realization of function, culture/psychology of function, health of function, sociability of function, social of function, stationary function). In conclusion, this study shows that lifestyle and recognition of leisure exert influence on the satisfaction of leisure life.
