        Objectives : Our study evaluated the effect of certain putative behavioural risk factors among menopausal women on bone mineral density(BMD) and the prevalence of osteoporosis. Materials and Methods : BMD was measured using DEXA(dual energy X-ray absorptiometry) instrument toward 411 menopausal women aged 40 to 74. The characteristics of the subjects including life styles like diet pattern, health-related habit, physical activity were compared between group with osteoporosis and group without osteoporosis. Results : The number of osteoporosis patients among study subjects were 217 persons(52.8%). It showed a tendency that the higher the age of subjects was, the lower BMD was, so aging was a related factor with osteoporosis. Some characteristics of life styles of the subjects like taking high calcium diet, frequency to take meat, coffee, alcohol or tobacco preference, degree of physical activity due to home labor and occupation, and the performance of health promotion activity were found out to be significant related factors with osteoporosis. Conclusion : Further study to find true risk factors of osteoporosis in Korean menopausal women and appropriate preventive measures against the disease must be made.

        Purpose Korean society of computed tomographic technology foundation 10 anniversaries arrived and analyzing paper that is collected to journal that is drawn until 1999~ 2008 year, did market number and research institution distribution change comparative analysis. Analyze to paper’s area of study and research subject, wish to offer to pabulum so that CT technology connection research in presence at a clinical developed forward more may can be propeled. Materials and methods Divide in non full-text and full-text treatise and diagnosed 306 paper that is collected to journal to grasp CT technology journal’s research tendency. Investigated CT technology journal memebership’s treatise 178 parties that is come to full text except 128 which outside lecture contents and abstract are collected. Grades of estimation of collected treatise that do not first because do by 5 points measure that do well 1 point, first 5 Jeomeurohas each year treatise average mark hydrate. Results Among whole paper 306, member’s paper was 282 and this was 92.2% of whole paper. Also, non-membership’s paper was 24. There were much differences in publication paper number to area, and 2000 year scientific papers were lowest point to 3.4 points in estimation of flue each book of full text paper and scientific paper of 2008 year was best point to 4.8 points. Evaluation average score of whole scientific paper was 4.35 points. Specially, because 64 multi-channel MDCT’s of cardiovascular region are distributed all over the country, research is lively. Also, 13 papers was recorded in radiation dose management research and 12 papers was recorded in contrast media connection research. Conclusion Need to supplement some to resuscitate as journal of Korea society of computed tomography technology that can be recognized in Korea research foundation. Should be made out according to form to require in Korea society of computed tomography technology. There is necessity that is activated and paper number control as is light of paper announcement in each area. Become not being Investigations of authoritative science TFT organization, consolidation of treatise quality, edit committee function consolidation, diversification of treatise subject, new medical technology diffusion, clinical report etc. contribute people health and diagnosis clashed to social ethics. It is thought subject that must solve first that raise Korea society of computed tomography technology’s upgrade as Journal that exclude non-memebership’s paper is recognized by Korea society of computed tomography technology’s full text journal, and is consisted of membership’s paper.

      • 하지 심부정맥혈전증에서 양측 하지 MDCT Direct Venography의 유용성

        Purpose This study is to describe the method of CT examination for deep veins of both lower extremities simultaneously and to evaluate the usefulness of MDCT direct venography. Materials and Methods From september 2003 to october 2005, 32 patients were retrospectively identified at our hospital, as having deep vein thrombosis in lower extremities by MDCT direct venography with bypass cannula made by authors. Results We could scan both extremities simultaneously and the long segment of lower extremities with MDCT direct venography with bypass cannula at one time. Axial images, maximum intensity projection images and volume rendering images could be reconstructed easily, and venographies of extremities, pevis, and inferior vena cava be obtained. Conclusion MDCT direct venography with bypass cannula have the usefulness for examing the deep veins of both lower extremities simultaneously and the merits for comparing and accurate diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis using volume rendering techniques and maximal intensity projection techniques.

      • MDCT를 이용한 경부동맥 촬영에서 IV 선택위치에 따른 영상 비교

        Purpose The MDCT images in Angiography for shoulder lateral and subclavian and brachiocephalic vein always hae been resulted poor image qulities due to the high concentration of contrast medium using rapid bolus injector. Materials and Methods We sampled 413 people from January to December, 2006 who had been executed Neck-Brain Angiography who took IV routes on upper and lower extremities in C University Hospital and evaluated 100 people randomly among each of them. The program which We used for this research is CARE dose Program used as a real time dose modulation program of SIE!\1ENS Sensation 16 MIXT apparatus. Results By executing 2 examinations of both Neck-Brain Angiography at one time injection, we could give patients more economical and time saving advantages due to the reduction of contrast medium and could execute two examinations simultaneously and offer their diagnostic results faster. By the same reason -we could get both individual images of Neck Angiography and Brain Angiography and get higher diagnostic valuable images by taking IV route on lower extremities rather than upper extremities. Conclusion By executing 2 examinations of both Neck-Brain Angiography simultaneously during only one time injection of contrast medium, we could not only offer patients less exposed dose and more economical and time saving advantages, but also found that we could get higher diagnastic valuable images at the time of lower extremity IV site angiography rather than the one of upper extremity and finally that will be considered as a more useful technique in the future Angiography examinations.

        Index-coupled DFB 레이저의 여러 가지 양 단면 반사율 조합에 따른 문턱 전류 이상에서 단일 모드 수율 해석

        Index-coupled(IC) DFB 레이저에서 여러 가지 kL과 양 단면 반사율 조합에 대하여 문턱 전류 이상에서 주입 전류에 따른 단일 모드 수율을 구하였고 그 결과를 문턱 전류에서 f number에 따른 단일 모드 수율과의 관련성에 대하여 검토하였다. 그결과 문턱 전류 이상에서 단일 모드 수율과 문턱 전류에서 f number에 따른 단일 모드 수율과의 관련성이 매우 적음을 알수 있었다. 문턱 전류 이상에서 kL이 0.8과 1.25인 경우가 kL이 2와 3인 경우에 비하여 SHB 현상이 작아 단일 모드 수율이 큼을 알 수 있었다 또한 양 단면 반사율 조합이 AR-HR과 AR-CL에 대하여 AR 단면의 반사율이 단일 모드 수율에 미치는 영향에 대하여 살펴보았다. 양 단면 반사율 조합이 AR-HR인 경우 AR단면의 반사율이 작을수록 단일 모드 수율은 크게 나타났다. 반면에 AR-CL의 경우 최대의 단일 모드 수율을 나타내는 최적의 AR단면의 반사율이 존재하였다. 본 논문에서 수행한 IC DFB 레이저의 단일 모드 수율 계산에서는 kL이 0.8이고 양 단면 반사율 조합이 AR(1%)-HR인 경우가 문턱전류 이상에서 단일 모드 수율이 가장 컸다. We have calculated the single mode yield of index-coupled (IC) DFB lasers above threshold for several kL, and facet reflectivity combinations, and investigated the correlation between those results and the single mode yield as a function of f number at the threshold. As a result, there is little correlation between the single mode yield above threshold and the single mode yield as a function of f number at the threshold. The single mode yields above threshold for kL of 0.8 and 1.25 is larger than those for kL, of 2 and 3 due to the spatial hole burning effect. Also, we have investigated the effect of the reflectivity of the AR facet on the single mode yield for AR-HR and AR-CL combinations. For AR-HR combinations, the single mode yield increases as the reflectivity of the AR facet decreases. However, for AR-CL combinations, the reflectivity of the AR facet for the largest single mode yield exists. In the single mode yield calculations for IC DFB lasers in this paper, the single mode yield for kL of 0.8 with AR(1%)-HR combination is largest above threshold.

        문턱 전류 이상에서 Complex-Coupled DFB 레이저 다이오드의 여러 가지 결합 계수 비와 양 단면 반사율 조합에 따른 단일 모드 수율 해석

        For complex-coupled (CC) DFB lasers, we found that there might be little correlation between the single mode yields at threshold and above threshold. At threshold, the single mode yield considering f number of in-phase (IP) CC DFB lasers is the same as that of anti-phase (AP) CC DFB lasers. However, the single mode yield as a function of injection current above threshold of IP CC DFB lasers is much different from that of AP CC DFB lasers. In the case of IP CC DFB lasers, the single mode yield increases as the coupling coefficient ratio (CR) increases, while, in the case of AP CC DFB lasers, the single mode yield decreases rapidly regardless of CR as the injection current increases. In the case of AR-HR combinations, the effect of AR ref1ectivity on the single mode yield increases as the coupling strength decreases. As the coupling strength decreases, the CR at which the increase rate of the single mode yield starts to decrease, increases, and the maximum single mode yield increases. Single mode yields of AR-HR and AR-AR combinations are larger than those of AR-CL and CL-CL combinations. Complex-coupled(CC) DFB 레이저의 경우 문턱 전류에서 spatial hole burning (SHB)현상을 나타내는 f 계수를 고려하여 구한 단일 모드 수율과 문턱 전류 이상에서의 단일 모드 수율과의 연관성이 존재하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 문턱 전류에서 f 계수를 고려하여 구한 in-phase (IP) CC DFB 레이저와 anti-phase (AP) CC DFB 레이저의 단일 모드 수율은 일치하였으나 문턱 전류 이상에서는 큰 차이를 보였다. 문턱 전류 이상에서 IP CC DFB 레이저의 단일 모드 수율은 결합 계수 비가 증가할수록 증가하였다 반면에 AP CC DFB 레이저의 경우 결합 계수 비에 관계없이 주입 전류가 증가하면 단일 모드 수율은 급격히 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 양 단면 반사율 조합이 AR-HR인 경우 결합 세기가 작을수록 AR 단면의 반사율이 단일 모드 수율에 미치는 영향이 크게 나타났다. 결합 세기가 작을수록 단일 모드 수율의 증가율이 완만해지기 시작하는 결합 계수 비가 커졌고 또한 최대 단일 모드 수율이 증가하였다 양 단면 반사율 조합이 AR-HR과 AR-AR의 경우가 AR-CL과 CL-CL인 경우에 비하여 단일 모드 수율이 크게 나타났다.
