Many manufacturing companies manage their production-related data for quality management and production management. Nevertheless, production related-data should be closely related to each other. Stored data is mainly used to monitor their process and products" error. In this paper, we provide an enterprise-wide production data model for decision support system and product automation. Process data, quality-related data, and test data are integrated to identify the process inter or intra dependency, the yield forecasting, and the trend of process status. In addition, it helps the manufacturing decision support system to decide critical manufacturing problems.

Many companies in mechanical engineering fields have accumulated information of design and manufacturing. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems help information gathering and data managing. However, these systems are not flexible to support suitable functionality for specific product because these systems deal with entire enterprise resources. To cope with this issue, a web-based design support system was constructed for the design process of automotive steel pulley. This system provided 1) search service for part design with key word and clustering map, and 2) estimation service of maximum stress. These services reduced design time by reducing iterative jobs with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) for stress analysis, and by enhancing search for existing data of steel pulley.

To develop the Automatic Transmission (in short : A/T) which is characterized by excellent shift quality and performance, an evaluation tool for a new hydraulic control system is needed. To do this, the dynamic modeling using a MATLAB/SIMULINK are performed and simulation results are compared with test results. In addition, the design of a new pressure control system employing 3 way pressure control solenoid valve is discussed. Simulation and test results show valuable feasibility of the design methodology suggested in this study.<br/>
고주파플라즈마CVD법에 의한 Diamond 박막의 성장과 특성

고주파플라즈마 CVD법으로 CH₄와 H₂의 혼합가스로부터 실리콘과 석영기판 위에 다이아몬드 임자와 박막을 성장시켰다. 기판과 기판지지대 사이에 금속판을 삽입함으로써 기판의 온도와 성장된 박막의 두께를 비교적 균일하게 할 수 있었다. 방전전력이 같은 경우 성장된 박막의 형태는 반응관 압력을 증가시킴에 따라 자형면을 가진 업자로부터 미립자 또는 구상의 입자로 변화되었다. H₂와 CH₄의 혼합가스로부터 Si기판 위에 다이아몬드 박막을 성장시키는 경우, CH₄ 농도가 0.5vol% 이하가 되어야만 양질의 다이아몬드 박막을 성장시킬 수 있었다. 성장된 다이아몬드 박막은 SEM, XRD 및 Raman 분광기를 사용하여 평가하였다. The diamond particles and films were deposited on Si and qurtz substrate from CH₄-H₂ mixed gas by using RF plasma CVD. The temperature of substrate and the thickness of films deposited on Si substrate were uniformly kept up by inserting metal plate between substrate and substrate holder. On increasing the reaction pressure in the same discharge power, the morphologies of films were changed from well-defined films to micro-crystal or ball-like. When diamond films were deposited on Si substrate from CH₄-H₂ mixed gas, we obtained well-defined diamond films at lower concentration than 0.5vol% of CH₄/H₂. The deposited diamond films were identified by SEM, XRD and Raman spectroscopy.
