This article aims to numerically investigate the effects of active flow from the blade tip platform. In addition, the another independent variable is considerable modification of the exit blade tip angles. Using the free vortex theory, and operating with a gross head from 3.5m, the effect of the exit blade tip angles was investigated. It further presented theoretical methodology to analyze the effects of design parameters like the exit blade tip angles and a tip clearance. This paper describes the blade design of an axial propeller hydraulic turbine, and presented the relationship between the layout of the blade profile and the shaft power and efficiency. The results showed that the exit tip modification and tip clearance modification were decreased a significant drop of turbine efficiency about 3~13%.

Thermal-flow characteristics in coolant flow passage of screw compressor have been investigated. In particular, the effects of the inclined angle (α=0˚?, ±2˚?, ±5˚?) of separation block in the coolant channel are studied. Numerical study was performed by using ANSYS CFX with the shear stress transport(SST) turbulence model. Results showed that the pressure drop and heat transfer increase as the inclined angle of separation block increases, which is resulted from the flow separation and centrifugal force. The results were graphically depicted with various flow and geometrical conditions.

Many manufacturing companies manage their production-related data for quality management and production management. Nevertheless, production related-data should be closely related to each other. Stored data is mainly used to monitor their process and products" error. In this paper, we provide an enterprise-wide production data model for decision support system and product automation. Process data, quality-related data, and test data are integrated to identify the process inter or intra dependency, the yield forecasting, and the trend of process status. In addition, it helps the manufacturing decision support system to decide critical manufacturing problems.
