본 논문은 수직구조 하의 과점시장에서 경쟁하는 기업의 라이센싱에 대한 효과를 분석한다. 상류의 A와 B기업은 하류의 1과 2기업에 중간재를 판매하며, 하류 기업은 이 중간재를 투입하여 차별화된 제품을 생산하여 최종 소비자에게 판매한다. 하류 1기업은 한계비용을 낮추는 기술특허를 보유하며, 경쟁사인 2기업에 라이센싱 판매할 수 있다. 1기업은 한계비용을 낮추는 정도가 다른 신기술과 구기술 특허를 보유한다. 1기업이 2기업에 신구술 또는 구기술 특허는 정액요금 라이센싱 또는 로열티 라이센싱 방식으로 거래된다. 각 라이센싱 방식에서 신기술과 구기술 라이센싱이 상류와 하류 기업의 이윤과 사회후생 등에 미치는 효과를 비교 분석한다. 라이센싱으로 상류 이윤이 감소하는 경우에 보완 대책을 논의한다. This paper investigates the effects of patent licensing under the duopoly in a vertical structure. Upstream firms A and B sell their intermediate goods to downstream firms 1 and 2, which produce differentiated final goods. Downstream firm 1 holds two kinds of patents, which reduces costs by low and high. Firm 1 licenses patents to firm 2 under a fixed-fee or royalty scheme. We compare downstream and upstream firms’ profits and welfare under two schemes. We discuss solutions when firm A makes a loss because of the licensing by the downstream firm 1.

The aim of this research is suggesting the method of obtaining well-graded aggregates for concrete replacing the recycled aggregate which size range is from 5 to 13 mm to currently used gap-graded natural aggregates which size range is only 13 to 25 mm. according to the tests results, the workability of concrete was improved with replacing the aggregates of 5 to 13 mm of size range because of compensating gap-grading. Furthermore, there was an improvement in compressive strength when the aggregates of 5 to 13 mm of size range was replaced because obtained well-graded aggregates contributed on increasing adhesiveness and filling internal pore system. Comparing replacing recycled aggregate to natural aggregate, there was no significant difference on the performances.

This study has analyze the suitable area of slump and slump flow among the fluidity evaluation of concrete by measuring slum and slump flow variation according to unit quantity and fine aggregate percentage in a low W/C mix. The fluidity of concrete can be expressed well with the slump value when sump value is 122mm or less. On the other hand, the fluidity of concrete can be expressed more accurately with slump flow value when slump is 122mm or greater.

This study investigates the effect of a grading of aggregate on the properties of concrete. It is a common sense in Korea that the production of coarse aggregate in ready mixed concrete industry excludes particular aggregate size ranged from 5 mm to 13 mm for saving the production cost. This causes a gap grading of the aggregate for concrete, which can lead to the increase of unit water, the development of drying shrinkage-induced crack and the reduction of compressive strength. In this study, conventional aggregate obtained from a ready mixed concrete factory and the aggregate with a modified grading produced in lab. condition were prepared. Results showed that a good grading of aggregate (i.e., the ratio of 5~13 mm and 13~25 mm is 6 to 4) produced in the lab. condition significantly improved the slump and the compressive strength of the concrete.
