Etanercept로 치료 중인 강직성척추염 환자에서 발생한 폐 크립토코쿠스증

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory disorder, commonly characterized by inflammation of axial skeleton and development of enthesopathies. Tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi) shows good therapeutic responses in AS patients without good response to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Although TNFi are relatively safe for AS patients, serious opportunistic infections, including tuberculosis and fungal infection, could develop. Here, according to our knowledge, we report a first Korean case of pulmonary cryptococcosis in a patient with AS treated with etanercept. A 64 year-old man with AS visited due to a newly appeared pulmonary nodule on a routine chest radiography. He had been administered etanercept for 5 months. Histologic findings of the lung nodule showed characteristic features of cryptococcosis. Etanercept was discontinued and oral fluconazole was administrated, as there was no evidence of central nervous system involvement. After 7 months of treatment, chest CT showed an improvement of the pulmonary lesion.

The present work dealt with the effect of cyclic thermal shock on the variation of density, microstructure and flexural strength properties of sintered MoSi₂ materials, in order to examine their application or stability at the high temperature. Especially, the efficiency of nondestructive technique using the ultrasonic wave was investigated for the evaluation of material damage behaviors suffered from the cyclic thermal shock. Ultrasonic wave velocity was decreased with the thermal shock cycle, and the attenuation increased linearly.

Most structure engineers give the casting components over-estimated factor of safety without any reasonable foundation due to the worries about the unavoidable defects such as shrinkages and porosity in castings; the engineers have little knowledge on the relation between the defect and structural behavior. And the workers in casting field also do not know how to control the defects by manufacturing; they do not know to where the defects move or until how size they reduce the defects. In this study, shrinkage defect was scanned by industrial computerized tomography instrument (CT), and subsequently was modeled to a spheroid primitive for structural analysis. Using these simplified models of shrinkage, we observed the effects of the defect on the results of the structural analysis. A commercial structural analysis code was used to do the analysis works. Considering the conclusions, it is possible to manage the shrinkages effectively in casting process and to design the products with more reliable

주조공정에서의 효율적인 열응력 해석을 위한 이종해석기법의 연계

본 논문에서 유한차분법(FDM)과 유한요소법(FEM)을 연계하여 주조공정 해석을 수행하는 이종해석기법을 제안하였다. 수치해석기법으로는 FDM, FEM, BEM 등 다양한 기법이 있으며, 대부분의 공학문제는 각각의 현상에 적합한 수치해석기법을 사용하여 해석을 수행하고 있다. 일반적으로, FDM 또는 FVM 은 유동 및 열전달 해석에, FEM 은 열응력 해석에 많이 적용되고 있지만 복합적인 공학 문제를 해결하기 위해서 각각 수치해석기법을 연동한 해석의 필요성이 점점 증가하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 3 차원 공간에서 FDM 을 사용하여 응고 및 열 전달 해석을 수행하고, 계산된 온도 데이터를 FEM 해석장에 적합하게 변환하여 열응력 해석을 수행하는 FDM/FEM연계해석 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 제시한 해석방법을 주조 공정 해석에 적용한 결과, 요소생성 등의 해석작업과 해석속도 면에서 효율적으로 해석을 수행할 수 있었다. This paper proposes a method that involves a combination of FDM and FEM for analyzing casting process. At present, many numerical analysis methods such as FDM, FEM, and BEM are used for solving engineering problems. For a given problem, a specific method that is suited to the problem is adopted; in general, FDM or FVM is favored for problems related to fluid flow or heat transfer, and FEM is adopted in stress analysis. However, there is an increasing need for using a combined method for complex and coupled phenomena analysis. Hence, we proposed a method in which FDM and FEM are coupled in three-dimensional space, and we applied this method to analyze casting process. In the proposed method, solidification and heat transfer was analyzed by using FDM. The field data such as temperature distribution were converted into a format suitable for FEM analysis that was used for calculating thermal stress distribution. Using the proposed method, we efficiently analyzed the analysis process from the viewpoints of work and time.
지진해일 전파 수치모의를 위한 2차원 유한요소모형의 능동적 분산보정기법

지진해일을 수치모의할 때 임의로 구성된 유한요소망과 양해법을 사용하면서도 Boussinesq 방정식과 같은 정도의 물리적 분산효과를 고려할 수 있는 능동적인 분산보정 2차원 유한요소모형을 개발하였다. 새로운 기법을 이용하여 계산한 수치해와 파의 분산효과를 고려한 해석해의 비교를 통해 본 연구에서 개발한 분산보정기법의 타당성을 입증하였다. 그 결과 개발된 수치모형이 상당히 정확함을 보였다. For the simulation of tsunami propagation an active dispersion-correction two-dimensional finite element model has been developed based on a shallow-water wave equation. This model employs an arbitrary triangular mesh and an explicit time integration scheme. However, the physical dispersion effects as included in the Boussinesq equations can be taken into account in the computation. The validity of the dispersion-correction scheme developed in this study is verified through the comparison of numerical solutions calculated using the new scheme with analytical ones considering dispersion effect of waves. As a result, the present model is shown to be considerably accurate.

인터넷에서 해커 등 침입자를 추적하기 위한 방안들이 연구되고 있으나 아직 실용적인 연구성과가 거의 드문 실정이다. 지금까지는 침해사고대웅팀(CERT)간의 협력과 상호 정보교류를 통한 대웅체계를 통하여 이루어지고 있으나 실제 역추적으로서는 효과적인 방법이 아니며, 에이전트를 이용한 분석 방법(AIAA)와 같은 경우도 에이전트의 수동적인 이동이 전제되어야 하는 것이다. 최근 해킹공격에 대한 적극적인 대웅 방안으로 역공격 등의 적극적인 방법들이 고려되고 자신의 시스템에 대한 보호 방법의 하나로서 받아들여지고 있는 경향이 있으므로 이러한 역공격 방법을 추적시스템에 접목하여 개량된 AIAA 모델로서 침입자 역추적방법을 설계하고 구현하였다. 여기에는 침입자 역공격 모듈과 침입자 미행모듈, AIAA 파견모듈등을 구현하여 자동적인 침입자 추적을 실현하였다.
