        중국 사천분지 서부의 고대 관개시설과 지역적 여건

        중국 사천분지 서부의 도강언 관개시설은 기원전 3세기에 진의 촉군 태수였던 이빙에 의하여 축조되었다. 이 시설은 대규모 거 관개의 효시로서 민강의 곡구에 입지한다. 이 지점은 이 지역에서 남쪽의 장강으로 합류하는 다른 강들의 곡구보다 해발고도가 높아 관개의 효율성이 크고, 강수량, 하계 등의 여건상 풍부한 유량을 지닌다. 이런 점에서 이 지점은 일찍이 거 관개시설의 입지로 선정되었다. 이 시설은 곡구에서 유수를 양분하는 `금강제`와 `어취`, 유로변경을 위한 `보병구`, 그리고 홍수와 토사를 배출하는 `비사언` 등으로 구성되었다. 이들은 상호 유기적으로 수재와 갈수 현상을 동시에 방지하였다. 여기에는 유수의 곡류현상과 침식, 운반, 퇴적작용, 그리고 암석의 풍화과정 등의 원리가 이미 적용되었다. 한편 성도평원에는 개착된 10여 개 인공수로들의 일부가 동쪽의 부강 유역까지 이어졌었는데, 이 사실은 간과되어 왔다. 결국 이 시설은 민강을 수원으로 이 지역의 수전농업 발전을 주도함으로써 `천부지국`을 이루는 계기가 되었다. This study tries to examine the characteristics of the ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation System and geographical conditions in the western part of Sichuan Basin in China. The Dujiangyan System constructed in the third century B.C is located at the mouth of gorge of the River Mi. This spot shows that its altitude above sea level is higher than that of the three other rivers in this district. Also, this river reaches the maximum discharge. These facts reveal the spot has the great potentiality as an ideal location for man-made channels. Li Bing realized the "three magical projects"; Yuzui and Jinggang Dyke(a water dividing dyke), Baopingkou(a water inlet), and Feishayan(a spillway). The dyke divided the River Min into two parts. The inner river is connected to the Baopingkou. And the Feishayan discharges flood and silt from the inner river to the outer. These projects have composed a scientific irrigation and drainage network. Finally, in the Chengdu Plain were digged a dozen channels for irrigation. Some of them are connected eastward to the River Bu. Since then the Dujiangyan System has been bring great benefits to agricultural production. This resulted in the population increased and establishment of new counties which have made the plain a `Land of Abundance".

      • LNG FPSO 액화공정 사이클의 최적 설계

        LNG FPSO(Liquefied Natural Gas-Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading )에서 액화 공정 시스템(Liquefaction Process System)은 천연가스를 부피가 1/600 인 액체 상태로 액화시키며, LNG FPSO 의 Topside Process System 건조 비용의 70%를 차지하고 있는 핵심 공정이다. 이러한 액화 공정 시스템의 Cycle 을 구성하는 주요장비에는 Compressor, Condenser, Expansion valve, Evaporator, Phase Separator, Common Header 그리고 Tee 가 있으며, 이들을 조합함에 따라 다양한 종류의 액화 Cycle 이 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 다양한 종류의 액화 Cycle 을 표현할 수 있는 Generic Model 을 제안하였고, LNG FPSO 의 Offshore Application 을 위하여 Generic Model 로부터 도출된 하나의 액화 Cycle 에 대하여 Compressor 에 공급되는 소요 동력을 최소로 하는 최적화된 액화 사이클을 설계하였다. 이를 LNG FPSO 에 적용 검토 중인 Dual Mixed Refrigerant(DMR) Cycle 과 비교 하였으며, 그 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 액화 Cycle 의 Compressor 소요 동력이 약 1.2% 감소한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

      • 나노입자 보강 실리콘 고무복합재료의 전기적 및 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

        다중벽 탄소나노튜브(CNT), 카본블랙(CB) 및 희석제 함유량에 따른 상온경화(RTV) 실리콘 고무복합재료의 기계적 및 전기적 특성에 대해 연구하였다. CNT의 혼합성 향상을 위해 초음파 분산 후 균질기 및 혼합기가 사용되었다. 또한 기지 속에 CNT의 분산성을 향상시키기 위하여 RTV용 희석제가 사용되었다. 초음파 처리 후 CNT를 기지에 분산시켜 만든 시편은 낮은 전기저항과 높은 인장특성을 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. CNT의 혼합방법 중 균질기와 혼합기의 전기적 특성 차이는 크지 않았다. 탄소 첨가제 중 CNT가 CB의 보다 같은 함유량에서 낮은 전기저항과 높은 인장강도를 보였다. 희석제의 함유량 증가에 따라 보강재와 보강재 사이의 거리가 증가되어 복합재료의 전기저항은 증가하고 인장강도는 감소하는 것으로 보인다. The mechanical and electrical properties of RTV silicone rubber composites were investigated as functions of multi-walled carbon nano tube(CNT), carbon black(CB) and thinner content. For better mixing of the CNT, the homogenizer or the stirrer is used after the ultrasonic dispersion. Also, to improve the CNT dispersion in the matrix, the thinner was used. It is found that the CNT can be dispersed much better after ultrasonic process by showing the low electrical resistivity or high tensile properties for specimens either using the homogenizer or stirrer only. There is no big difference in the CNT mixing degree between the stirrer and the homogenizer mixing in the aspect of the electrical resistance. The composite with the CNT has a low electrical resistances and high tensile strength compared to the case with the CB at the same filler content. It is believed that the electrical resistance of the reinforced composite increases and the tensile strength decreases with the thinner content because the space between fillers increased with increasing thinner content.

      • PCB 컨포멀 코팅 두께 측정

        In this paper, we propose a method to measure the thickness of the conformal coating sprayed on the PCB substrate in real time. The principle of measurement is to scan a linear laser beam and acquire each energy emitted from the surface of the substrate and the surface of coating with a camera. The thickness is then calculated by triangulation method. Therefore, the proposed system consists of a linear laser beam generating optical system, an image receiving optical system, and a signal processing system for processing the image signal to calculate the thickness.

        국제공유하천으로서의 메콩강에 관한 법적 고찰 - 메콩협약과 UNWC의 비교를 중심으로 -

        International water laws define the legal rules for international water sharing among two or more countries. Currently, over 3,600 bilateral or multilateral international agreements have been signed all over the world. Although such international water agreements significantly reduce the possibility of conflict occurring, none of them is perfect and able to resolve all conflicts. In 1997, more than one hundred nations joined together to adopt the United nations Convention on the Law of the non-navigational uses of International Watercourses(UNWC)―a flexible and overarching global legal framework that establishes basic standards and rules for cooperation between watercourse states on the use, management, and protection of international watercourses. UNWC entered into force on August 2014 when Viet Nam became the required 35th country to ratify the UNWC. In the Mekong region, one such basin-specific treaty is the Mekong Agreement. Entering into force in 1995, the Mekong Agreement was adopted by the Lower Mekong Basin states of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam, and was accompanied by the establishment of a robust inter- governmental basin institution, the Mekong River Commission (MRC). Yet, 20 years later, the ability of the Mekong Agreement and MRC to effectively govern trans-boundary watercourse management in the region have been called into question, in particular regarding disputes related to the rapid development of hydropower dams along the river and its tributaries. The entry into force of the UNWC presents an opportunity to seek a common approach for strengthening trans-boundary water governance in the Mekong Basin. By its very nature, this framework convention provides a central body of international law on which to build basin-wide uniformity for the MRC and its member States. This will provide basin-wide consistency in the effective governance and regulation of riparian state practices. This paper provides a comparative analysis of the key substantive and procedural principles and obligations provided for in the two treaties.

        Salicylic acid 가 닭의장풀의 광합성에 미치는 영향

        The effect of Salicylic acid (SA) on the leaf growth, cholorophyll content, photosynthesis, stomatal conductance in Commelina communis L. was investigated. C. communis which was grown in Hoagland solution containing 1 mM SA during 3 weeks resulted in a significant reduction of leaf length, width and area. 1 mM SA reduced about 10% of the leaf area at 1 week and 2 weeks, but inhibited 22% of the leaf area at 3 weeks. SA also showed great effect on the reduction of chlorophyll content. SA reduced 47% and 53% of chlorophyll content each at 2 weeks and 3 weeks when it was compared with the control. Chlorophyll a/b ratio in SA treated sample was increased at 3 weeks representing that SA was sensitive to chlorophyll b. The treatment of SA did not show direct effect on the photosynthetic electron transport activity. However, when C. communis was grown in Hoagland solution containing 1mM SA for long period, SA showed clear inhibition of photosyhthesis in intact leaves. The treatment of SA for 3 weeks showed about 23∼65% inhibition of photosynthetic activity at various light intensity (100∼1000μmol m^-2s^-1). Similar effect was found on stomatal conductance. The treatment of SA caused an almost closure of stomata. Similar effects of stomatal conductance at various light intensity indicate a loss of normal control on stomatal mechanism. These results indicate that the effect of SA on photosynthetic activity was not by SA itself but by indirect metabolic pathway. [photosynthesis, salicylic acid, stomatal conductance].

        The pulsating pressure waves are composed of fundamental frequency and higher order harmonics in exhaust pipe of engines. The nonlinearity in exhaust pipe is caused by their interactions. The error which is between prediction and measurement is induced by the nonlinearity. We can not explain this phenomenon using linear acoustic theory which is existing theory. So power spectrum which was used in linear theory is not useful. Bispectrum and bicoherence functions which are a higher order spectrum are applicable to explain this phenomenon. This paper proposes a nonlinear effect of pulsating pressure waves. The phenomenon proposed here is identified by using of higher order spectrum density functions.

        The mechanism of plant cell wall synthesis processes is not still fully understood. To see how plant cell wall synthesize, many papers about cell wall have been reviewed. Here, specially recent updated cellulose arrangements have been discussed. And how hemicellulose and pectins surround cellulose or build the cell wall have been dealed with other proteins including many enzymes. The role of expansin for plant growth was also discussed.
