In this paper, skyhook control of a semi-active ER(Electro-Rheological) damper for vehicles is investigated. The strength of the ER damper is controlled by a high voltage power supply. This paper deals with a two-degree-of-freedom suspension using the damper with ERF for a quarter vehicle system. The control law for semi-active suspensions modeled in this study is developed using skyhook and Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR) optimal control method. Computer simulation and experimental results show that the semi-active suspension with ERF damper has good performances of ride quality.

A new flow mode of ER fluid available for controlling the damping force by using DME(Discrete Multi-Electrode) is presented in this study. Various characteristics about the flow of ER fluid through the experiment of ER cluster behavior visualization can be assumed. The pressure in electrode length and voltage division mode is measured. An actuator with a damping effect through DME ER damper will be developed. This damper controls the damping force by using the displacement and velocity of the plant which consists of the various electrode length and voltage modes without a controller in the real system.

This paper presents development of flow control valve using MR fluid. Generally, since the apparent viscosity of MR fluids is adjusted by applying magnetic fields, the MR valves can control high level fluid power without any mechanical moving parts. In this paper, flow control valve using MR fluid on the behavior of the magnetic field influence on the numerical analysis of more accurate electromagnetic parameters were obtained, even if when magnetic field apply inside of surrounding MR fluid from electromagnet, more realistic designing way analysis of characteristic of whole magnetic field distribution is suggested by surrounding magnetic material. Also, comparison of flow rate inlet and outlet, behavior of MR fluid in experiments proposed. A new type of flow control valve using MR fluid is proposed by analysis of behavior of MR fluid in experiments.
고속가공기를 이용한 CAD/CAM 포켓가공에 관한 연구

Recently, the system of high speed milling(HSM) is widely used for reducing the operation time and maximizing efficiency of work. The most research of high speed milling system is still leaves much to be desired. Specially the research of mass pocket high speed processing with high precision is the first and probably the last. So this paper showed mass pocket processing of high precision with a duralumin and then confirmed a cause of inferior goods through the CAD/CAM pattern simulation and experimentation. And this paper showed high speed processing system reduce the rate of inferior from this optimal pattern.
