        政策論證模型을 통해 본 朝鮮初期 佛敎政策과 涵虛禪師의 『顯正論』

        The usefulness of Toulmin's Policy Argument Model lies in the possibility of combining analysis on value and fact, and it helps us to understand exactly "how the appropriateness and essence of its policy and a variety of informations related to the policy are formed and how they have a co-relation with each other."In addition, Toulmin's Policy Argument Model policy accepts different values by recognizing the possibility that there will be diverse interpretations and policy assertions on same policy data/information, and it seeks the justification and agreement through the active process of mutual communication, which will enhance the quality of the policy as well. In this paper, I tried to explain the doctrinal linchpin of the Buddhist Policy of the Early Joseon Era and of anti-Buddhism theory based on "Policy Data, Warrant and Back- up." Actually, it is a historical fact, but anti-Buddhism theory, raised ignoring a religious characteristic, is not easy to escape the vulnerability in the perspective of 'Back-up.' In particular, asserting that not only practical ethic such as loyalty and filial piety but the reincarnation based on Karma are groundless means that the social usefulness of Buddhism itself and even the value and position of Buddhism in Korean history are not recognized properly. Hence, as "Refutation" against that, through Seon Master Hamheo's 'Hyeonjeongron', I stressed the unfairness of anti-Buddhism, particularly pointed the value of Buddhism as Confucianism and Taoism-embracing universal religion and philosophy. It is well revealed in that he ultimate purpose of renouncing the world is premised on saving all sentient beings and the practice of loyalty and filial piety. Moreover, I paid attention to the commonness through the structure of the triple body of Buddha and the Book of Changes, and above all, through the important precept of "Do not Kill" of Buddhism, I pointed the contradiction on benevolence raised by Confucian Scriptures. Through the above argumentations, I could correct the injustice and misunderstanding concerning anti-Buddhism theory. Finally, presenting the differences of the teachings of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism in detail, I could certify that the only "Embracing the past, the present, and the future and the ten directions all" is the very Buddhism. Toulmin의 정책논변 모형이 지닌 유용성은 가치와 사실의 혼합적인 분석이 가능하다는 점에 있고, ‘정책내용이 갖는 타당성과 본질, 정책과 관련한 다양한 정보들이 정책주장을 어떻게 형성하고 어떤 상관을 갖는가’ 등을 명확하게 이해하는데 도움을 준다. 또한 동일한 정책자료 및 정보에 대해 다양한 해석과 정책주장이 있을 수 있는 가능성을 인정하여 다양한 가치를 포용하고 있고, 대화의 장을 전제로 하는 상호 의사소통행위의 동태적 과정을 통해 정당화 및 합의를 추구하며 이를 통해 정책의 질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문은 정책자료 및 근거와 보강을 통해 조선초기 불교정책과 배불론의 이론적 근간을 설명하였다. 일종의 역사적 사실인 것이다. 다만 불교가 지닌 종교적 특성을 무시하고 제기된 배불론은 ‘보강’의 입장에서는 그 허약성을 면하기 어렵다. 충효와 같은 실천윤리뿐만 아니라 인과응보에 기초하여 윤회를 거듭하는 것이 허무맹랑하다는 논리는 불교 그 자체가 지닌 사회적 유용성이나 한국역사에서 불교가 지닌 가치와 위상조차도 인정하지 않고 있음을 의미한다. ‘반론’은 함허선사가 『현정론』을 통해 제기한 배불론에 대한 부당성과 불교가 유교·도교와 지닌 상통성 뿐만 아니라 양교를 담을 수 있는 종교나 철학으로서의 가치를 설명하였다. 예컨대 출가수행의 궁극적 목적은 중생구제뿐만 아니라 충과 효에 대한 실천이 전제되어있다는 것이다. 아울러 삼신불과 주역의 구조를 통해 그 상통성을 설명했고, 불교의 不殺生을 통해 유교경전이 제시한 仁에 대한 입장이 모순되고 있음을 지적하였다. 이와 같은 논변을 통해 배불론의 부당성과 이해의 오류를 바로잡았고, 마지막으로 三敎가 지닌 현상적인 가르침의 차별을 구체적으로 제시하면서 三世를 꿰뚫고 十方을 아우르는 도가 佛道라고 천명하였다.

        유통업체 종사자의 유동근무제에 대한 선호성향에 대한 연구

        The “flextime” system, which was initially designed to maintain a balance between work and personal life, has recently received much attention as an alternative form of work, enabling employees to fully exert their creativity. Most studies show that the effects of flextime on performance, productivity, attitude toward the organization, absenteeism, and turnover differ between managerial and non-managerial workers. This suggests that workers’ personal characteristics affect their preference for flextime by directly or indirectly influencing its result variables. As most Korean companies have not adopted the flextime system, little research has been conducted on it in Korea. Recently, Korean companies have been discussing flextime as one of several measures for enhancing international competitiveness. Therefore, this study aims to offer a theoretical framework for the introduction of the system by analyzing the effects of the precedent factors on the preference for flextime. Though not statistically significant, a higher preference for flextime is noted among workers over the age of 36. Older workers usually are more conservative and less adaptable to change but here the older Korean workers may be anxious and resistant. Additional research on workers in different types of businesses using improved research methods will lead to more meaningful results. Married workers display a lower preference to flextime than single workers. In Korea, the current atmosphere focused on a happy home encourages married workers to prefer regular work hours, enabling them to go to and from work on a regular schedule. This means that normal working hours, from morning to evening, are preferred as it is the most suitable system for families. However, this is not so in the case of single workers. Unmarried singles tend to prefer flextime for investing in self-development toward future prosperity, over the benefits of regular working-hours. Flextime is designed to meet their needs to some extent as it is helpful in maintaining a balance between work life and self-development. If flextime is selected, workers can spend mornings on self-development and work in the afternoons. Therefore, when flextime is introduced in Korea, it would be desirable to start with unmarried workers, to increase corporate creativity and productivity and develop individual potential. In particular, when the five-day workweek, the main concern for companies and labor unions, is adopted, synergy with flextime could be expected and a gradual implementation of flextime will be effective. Gender difference shows similar results to marital status with male workers displaying a higher preference for flextime. It is inferred that male workers’ attitudes toward flextime are more favorable than female workers’ because flextime enables self-development and work life to coexist. A relatively weak, though statistically significant, correlation exists between control position and flextime preference with inner-control- oriented workers displaying favorable attitudes toward flextime. Generally, inner-control-oriented workers tend to attribute the consequences caused by any person or partner relationship to themselves. Thus, when a new system is introduced they are likely to have less reluctance and fear than outer-control-oriented workers, because they think it is important to deal with the new system. A weak but slight correlation exists between the desire for achievement and flextime preference. People who have a higher desire for achievement are willing to consider the new system, especially if significant success is reasonably expected. This result is derived from a reasonable judgment that flextime offers an individual the time for self-development while the organization benefits from the resulting creativity and performance enhancements.         한국과 미국에서 발행된 조직수준 중심의 조직행동론 교과서에 대한 사례연구

        I have done a case study on organization level based-organizational behavior textbooks published in Korea and USA. The objects are 'organizational behavior' by Su Yong Jung and 'organizational behavior' by Im Chang Hee in Korea, and 'organizational behavior' by Schermerhorn, Osborn, Uhl-Bien, & Hunt and 'organizational behavior' by Robbins, & Judge. The goal of this study is to identify the differences of the perspectives on the organization level based-organizational behavior between Korean and American textbooks. This research finding shows that it is valid to classify organizational behavior into such categories as organizational structure, organizational culture, and organizational change in the Korean textbooks for the better future study.

I distinguish between two types of charismatic relationships and present general propositions about how followers' self-concepts may dertermine the type of charismatic relationship they form with the leader.         한국과 미국에서 발행된 개인수준 중심의 조직행동론 교과서에 대한 사례연구

        I have done a case study on individual level based-organizational behavior textbooks published in Korea and USA. The objects are 'organizational behavior' by Su Yong Jung and 'organizational behavior' by Im Chang Hee in Korea, and 'organizational behavior' by Schermerhorn, Osborn, Uhl-Bien, & Hunt and 'organizational behavior' by Robbins, & Judge. The goal of this study is to identify the differences of the perspectives on the individual level based-organizational behavior between Korean and American textbooks. This research finding shows that it is valid to classify organizational behavior into such categories as individual differences, attitude, emotion & stress, perception & learning, and motivation in the Korean textbooks for the better future study.
