Stress analysis of split ring with four different radius ratios under the compressive load is made by the photoelastic experiment and the numerical analysis through the FEM.<br/> The results of the two methods agreed well.<br/> Above results are also compared with those of the theoretical formula in order to confirm the range in which the formula of the curved bar is applied in connection with the radius ratio.<br/> The results of the two methods agreed well with those of the formula for the radius ratio.<br/> 3/2 and 9/7 w.ithin small errors of around 7% and 5% respectively.<br/>

게껍질로부터 Hackman법으로 키틴을 추출하였고 키토산은 이것을 일정 온도(100℃)에서 NaOH 용액의 농도와 반응 시간을 변화시켜 각각의 탈아세틸화 정도에 따라 제조하였다. 제조한 시료들은 A=19%, B=52%, C=70% 그리고 D=93%의 탈아세틸화된 것을 사용해 여러 가지 시험을 하였다. 분자량은 탈아세틸화도가 증가함에 따라 감소되는 현상을 나타냈고, 폐수처리 효과에 있어서 SS 제거율은 탈아세틸화도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였고 pH 9에서 우수한 성능을 나타냈으며, COD 제거율은 중성 영역에서 가장 좋게 나타났다. Chitin was extracted from crab shell by Hackman method and chitosan was prepared to chitin, that was deacetylated under various concentration of NaOH solution and reaction time at constant temperature, 100℃. Samples were A=19%, B=52%, C=70% and D=93% deacetylation`s chitosan and they were tested. When deacetylation was increased, Mw ̄ was decreased and removal rate of suspended solid and removal rate of chemical oxygen demand were increased. Suspended solid and removal rate of chemical oxygen demand showed the better at pH 9 and pH 7 than any other pH range.

Chemical machining(CHM) is a special process which material removed by contact of strong etchant. The application as industrial process was started from aircraft industry after 2nd world war. Chemical milling, one of the CHM process, initially became commercial bussiness and it was called chem-mill. Even today, this process widely used to remove the material from aircraft wings and fuselage panel in aircraft industry. In this study, it is attempted to design the cylinder pattern which minimize the weight within the allowable stress using chemical milling.
