A storage device used in the mobile computing field should have low power, light weight, durability, etc., and should be able to effectively store and manage large-capacity data generated by users. NAND flash memory is mainly used as a storage device in the field of mobile computing. Due to the structural characteristics of NAND flash memory, it is impossible to overwrite in place when a data update request is made, so it can be solved by accurately separating requests that frequently request data update and requests that do not, and storing and managing them in each block. The classification method for such a data update request is called a hot data identification method, and various studies have been conducted at present. This paper continuously records the occurrence of data update requests using a counting filter for more accurate hot data validation, and also verifies hot data by considering how often the requested update requests occur during a specific time.

Nand flash memory requires an Erase-Before-Write operation structurally. In order to solve this problem, it can be solved by classifying a page (hot data page) where data update operation occurs frequently and storing it in a separate block. The MHF (Multi Hash Function Framework) technique records the frequency of data update requests in the system memory, and when the recorded value exceeds a certain standard, the data update request is judged as hot data. However, the method of simply counting only the frequency of the data update request has a limit in judging it as accurate hot data. In addition, in the case of a technique that determines the persistence of a data update request, the fact of the update request is recorded sequentially based on a time interval and then judged as hot data. In the case of such a persistence-based method, its implementation and operation are complicated, and there is a problem of inaccurate judgment if frequency is not considered in the update request. This paper proposes a lightweight hot data determination technique that considers both frequency and persistence in data update requests.

Exercise is one of the most common stressors in horses. Although various physiological parameters such as cortisol respond to exercise, there is no reliable parameter for the measurement of exercise-induced stress in sport horses. This study was performed to discover a new biomarker with high sensitivity for exercise-induced stress. The expression of fos mRNA was increased more than 10-fold in horse blood samples collected after an hour of exercise, as compared with before the exercise. The plasma cortisol levels were also increased after the exercise, but only by about two-fold. The fos mRNA levels were well-correlated with plasma cortisol concentrations. These findings suggest that fos mRNA expression in blood may be useful for the measurement of exercise-induced stress in horses.

본 논문에서는 자연어 질의가 가지는 특징들을 살펴보고, 범주 문법과 논리구조에 기반한 한국어 의미 분석기[권혜진 1997]를 기반으로 parsing기법을 개선하여 시스템의 속도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 또 자연어 처리의 각 단계의 분석 점수를 결합하여 애매성을 내포하고 있는 자연어 질의로부터 의미 분석의 best result를 얻는 방법을 소개하고 튜닝을 통해 그 결과를 확인한다.

A robust design of head gasket is pursued by using FEA model of engine assembly. Engine assembly model consists of cylinder head, block, gasket, and head bolt is constructed to understand a complex behavior of this engine compound. Thermal loading is performed on the assembled engine cylinder and block to obtain temperature field. Firing load is added to the results of heat transfer analysis to simulate the engine operation condition. Temperature filed results from heat transfer analysis are mapped into the structural mesh. Contact pressure distribution along the bead has been monitored for the engine operation condition. Based on the results obtained from the analysis, Taguchi method has been adopted for a robust design process of head gasket. Among the control factors, bolt size affects most robustness of head gasket sealing.

We have investigated the electrical properties of a conducting polymer(ORMECON¹M L5005) for electrochemical DNA hybridization sensors. Conducting polymers are known as good candidates for chemical sensors because of their high conductivity and porosity which is beneficial to enhance the sensitivity of sensors. DNA sensors coated with the conducting polymer have been fabricated with the various sizes of gap electrodes. The gap distance in DNA biosensor electrodes is also an important element to affect the sensitivity. It was designed in the order of microns and the order of nanometers to investigate the effects of electrode gap distance.

대칭형 인공자기도체 구조를 이용한 메타물질 특성의 고임피던스 표면 구현 및 SAR 특성 분석

본 논문에서는 메타물질 특성을 구현하기 위하여 고임피던스 표면을 갖는 인공자기도체(AMC) 구조를 제안하였다. 설계한 AMC 구조는 3.2GHz에 적용하는 것을 목표로 하였으며, 특성 분석을 위해 다중의 AMC 구조를 일정하게 배열한 반사판으로 제작 및 측정하였다. AMC 반사판의 표면에 형성되는 높은 임피던스로 인하여 반사 특성이 좋아지고, 간섭 및 시스템의 크기를 줄이며, 안테나의 성능을 증가시킨다. 제안된 구조는 설계된 AMC와 접지면을 잇는 via hole을 사용하지 않고, 유전체의 두께와 유전율, 구조의 특성을 이용하여 고임피던스를 구현하였다. 기존의 연구된 via hole이 없는 구조와 비교하여 대역폭이 약 150% 증가하였다. 또한, 금속(PEC) 반사판과 동일한 반사특성을 보이는 대신, 안테나와 반사판 간의 거리를 λ/10까지 줄일 수 있다. 실험을 통하여 안테나와의 거리가 약 10mm 지점에서 방사 특성이 3dB 증가한 것을 확인하였다. 설계된 반사판은 반사거리가 작아 휴대용 무선 통신기기의 내부에 삽입이 가능하며, 안테나의 효율을 증가시키고, 후방 방사를 차폐함으로써 전자파인체흡수율을 94% 이상 획기적으로 감소시킬 수 있다. In this paper, we proposed new type of an artificial magnetic conductor(AMC) structure, which has a high impedance surface for realizing the meta-material characteristics. The designed AMC structure set a goal of 3.2GHz, and the reflector, which consists of periodically arrayed AMCs is fabricated and measured. The high impedance improves the reflection coefficient, decreases the system size and interference, and increases the antenna performance. The structure has embodied the high impedance by the thickness and relative permitivity of the dielectric substrate and the design configuration without the metallic via hole which connects the AMC to the GND. The bandwidth is 150% broader than the similar AMC structures. Also, the distance between the antenna and the AMC reflector is decreased by λ/10 as working as the metal(PEC) reflectors. The antenna radiation characteristics are 3dB increased at 10mm away from reflector by measurement. The proposed reflector could be inserted in the portable mobile devices, and the antenna’s performance has improved by the reflector. The specific absorption rate is dramatically decreased over 94% because the back radiation of the antenna is shielded.
